"As with the past 4 postings before me I am very disatisfied with Page Computer. I ordered a 6800GT only yesterday, called today to find out the status of my order... Rep said there was "good news and bad news"... The good news was that the item is in stock, the bad news is the item raised in price by $75... This is a scam, simple BAIT-AND-SWITCH tatic! Why do they post a price and not honor it? On top of this they raise the price above suggested retail. Suddenly, CompUSA and BestBuy offer a better deal. Go figure...

I dont suggest doing business with this company!

"Meh. They accepted my order for a PNY 6800GT at a low price, $323.50. The card was out of stock at that moment, but was available the following day, at a higher price, $405. My order was cancelled by Page. I can't recommend them if they won't honor posted prices."

"I ordered a PNY Gefroce 6800 GT for 332$. At the time of my order it was IN STOCK. Later that day, they canceled my order, saying it was out of stock. The SAME DAY, when I inquire they tell me they have more in stock, but this shipment now costs 405$

"I bought a GeForce 6800 GT video card, price $323 and their web site showed "in stock". The next day they send me an email saying the video card is out of stock, and they are CANCELING my order. No back order, they just cancel my order. Fine, fair enough. Then I go back to their site and THE SAME VIDEO CARD IS STILL "IN STOCK", they claim 15 cards avaliable. New price - $405!!!

This company is corrupt. Their website lies about their inventory, and then they further lie to their customers. I would never do business with a company as dishonest as this one. Their tatics are borderline illegal here in CA. I will be contacting the state attorney general to see what he can do. You can't just sell people something, cancel their order by lying about it's availability, and then go and say it's now "in stock" for a price TWENTY PERCENT HIGHER. This is called "bait and switch" and consumers shouldn't have to put up with it.

"I purchased a laptop - Acer Aspire 2012 WLMI from page computer and i have been using it for 3 days now. Its such a great laptop and page computer was the best place to go for because it as a low price, the online live supposr was a good help, the phone support was helpful too and most importantly the ordering process was quick and secure. Well they called my house asking whether i ordered a laptop just to make sure that i actually place an order and my order arrived 4days after my order was placed. Great job page computers!! i would definitely recommend this e-tailer to everyone.

"I found The Page Computer site while researching a Brother HL5170DN Laser Network Printer. What drew me to them was the price. They were at least $50.00 cheaper than any site I'd checked. A bit suspicious, I read every thing there was to read about their terms and policies. I was totally amazed! They have addresses and phone numbers clearly posted for at least six departments. They take credit cards, money orders, checks and bank drafts. Their polices are fair and shipping is five to ten dollars less than most places. I sent an email with a question and received a reply in less than 15 minutes! The printer arrived in good condition in two days. GREAT service! When I emailed them to thank them, they told me about a three month "Free" extended warranty! I'm sold."

"Equal or slightly better pricing than best prices on price watching sites. Delivery and product as promised. On one occasion the product did not match the picture (manufacter's fault) and they waived the RMA fee when I pointed this out. Pricing being equal or nearly, I'll choose these guys because they were fair with taking the return."

"I ordered a Samsung 17" monitor from these guys. The monitor is such a new model that they said on the website that it had to be special ordered directly from the manufacturer and would take 5 business days to ship. I still ordered it that Monday, and 3 days later on Thursday, the FedEx guy showed up with my new monitor. Very impressed with their turnaround time. The only reason I'm Somewhat satisfied was that I sent 4 emails asking questions to their customer service, all sent Monday and Tuesday, and the only response I got was on Friday, the day after my monitor arrived. Plus beware of the live chat support on their site, no one seems to be ever available for that and I wouldn't leave a message if I were you."

"I was a bit hesitant at first after reading some of the negative reviews about page computers, and the fact that I've never heard of them didn't really help. But they made a very favorable first impression. I ordered an Antec case for $20 less than the next cheapest retailer (newegg.com) including shipping (standard ground). To my surprise, the item shipped immediately after purchase, and was received the next afternoon. Very impressed."

"Ordered two Samsung 193P monitors from them because they had a very good price and they had a good rating on ResellerRatings. First I called them to confirm they had it in stock. The lady with very broken English said they had plenty. So I ordered online.

Waited several days, checked the status of the order and it was not shipped yet. I called them, the man with very broken English said the order was on hold but could not tell me why. Said someone would call me back within an hour.

Five hours later I got a call from a man with very broken English saying the item cannot be shipped to us because "it's not available in this country." I asked why PriceWatch, PriceScan, and PriceGrabber show about 50 other stores that sell it in this country, but he maintained that it was not available. I suspect he was lying because I'm sure it really is available, they just didn't want to admit their mistake that it was in stock when it wasn't.

That's the last time I order from any store with people that can't even speak English.
