It suppose to take 24-48hrs. to get one from the returns dept. according to Page Computer's return policy, well it too 5 days and 5 phone calls. Another 2 days for issuing a call tag, i finally shipped it back to them on 2/22/05. Wait! that's not it! It took them two weeks from here to process this return and ship a replacement. Now listen to this one, thy shipped the $800 package by USPS without any signature required upon delivery. I guess Mr.Murphy was sitting in my pocket, i never found the package at the front door as USPS claims they left it. Now Page Computer wants to be stripped of any responsibility for a lost shipment and suggested i contact the local USPS office to file a claim.
Be very careful when ordering from this store. Should something go wrong....you are in a deep deep trouble.
My story still continues as i contacted my credit card to refuse the charge. Next time I will spend extra $50 for a better customer service retailer.

"I was given false information from a sales representative that influenced my decision to cancel from another vendor in favor of placing an order with Page Computer. I ended up paying a slightly higher price for an item that was not in stock even though they said they had 50+ available. The order ended up shipping at the same time as it would have from the original vendor. Also, they never responsed to e-mail inquiry on the status of the order. Half of the keys on the keyboard did not work and operating software malfunctioned. I was charged 10% fee for returning their broken laptop. I have lost 200 dollars. It took them two month to refund me money. I do not suggest anyone to deal with the company. "

At this point the correct solution would be for me to simply cancel my order with them and order the same part from Newegg.com (they didn't have it in stock when I made the original purchase). "We bought an ASUS ATX MBD NFORCE2 (motherboard) from Page Computers. The motherboard did not work correctly (no video output, no keyboard or mouse input, no booting). We decided to return the MBD for a refund rather than replace it. Page Computer did not honor the return policy listed on their site. We were told that the motherboard had to be returned to ASUS (the manufacturer). When contacted, ASUS replied that they did not process refunds - I must go to the purchasing company. Again, Page replied that they would only accept new, unopened merchandise and would not accept the broken motherboard and would not refund my money. So I am in a terrible loop here - stuck with a broken motherboard that neither Page Computers nor ASUS will take back for a refund. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with my dealings with both companies."
