"I bought a Designjet 110plus from Page. Their price was the best on the internet and was over $100 dollars cheaper than HP's. They told me it would take 5 days to receive it and it only took 2! They didn't give me the correct UPS number at first and took only a day to respond to my email with the correct number. I will definitely buy from them again!"

"I'm very sastified with the service of this company. I placed my first order for the computer case and received it on the next day eventhough I paid for regular 3-5 days shipping. "First order with this company, not without some concern due to some of the bad reviews in mid-2004. I'm pleased to say that my order, for a 3.2GHz Northwood went off without a problem.

I give them good marks for their 'real time' inventory query system, since these parts are in short supply most places, and their total stock was in low double digits when I ordered. But their price was very good ($50 less than Newegg) so I took a chance. They were good to their word and indeed shipped out the processor the day after I ordered it. The item they shipped was exactly what I ordered and packed adequately.

I have only two quibbles with Page's order system: 1) their web site is very slow most of the time and it seems to have a lot of trouble finding valid orders after waiting for the order status pages to load. Finding status can take four or five attempts with the same valid order information. 2) They are very slow in posting tracking numbers. My processor arrived before the number posted. In fact, it's a day later and it *still* hasn't posted! They did tell the truth, however, that the paciage had shipped.

Four stars overall, and I'd use them again, especially if Newegg keeps up with their recent pace of price increases.

"Very satisfied with this purchase! The price of the product was great, the service was excellent, and shipping was super fast. After researching my product for quite some time, Page Computer had what I was looking at for much cheaper than the competition. I used their site to buy it (Which is very easy to navigate) And even after I had accidentally forgotten about a hold on my card (Oops!) The sales rep actually called me to get everything straightened out. The following day, my purchase was shipped out to me. I received it the very next day, as described in brand new condition, packaged very nicely. Post-sale I was able to e-mail and actually get ahold of a person that same day. Excellent seller!"

"The good: I have ordered from Page Computers multiple times over the past couple of years and never had to question when my orders will arrive. Everything is processed the same day (if ordered during normal business hours of course) and shipped on time. I'm lucky enough to live near a warehouse so I usually receive my orders the next day. No problems with out of stock items or bait and switch.

The bad: My latest order involved a Canon S60 camera, now dead after a week of use. The RMA process was confusing to say the least. Page had certain restrictions about returning Canon cameras (thru the manufacturer?) that even Canon never heard of. (Canon even asked why it was so hard to just do a return) VERY long story involved here but the camera was sent back for a *refund*, as Page Computers agreed to. What happens? The replacement was sent out last night. I now have to refuse delivery or go through the RMA process all over again.

Update 9/7/2004: Had to call Page to figure out where my refund was. Amazingly they processed the return but not my credit card. I am forced to, yet again, play the waiting game. It's a shame it takes them minutes to process and ship an order, but takes over a month to get a refund. During this time I've routed my company's computer needs thru other retailers until this gets straightened out.

"I received my laptop just 3 days after I placed the order from Page Computer! This was after I cancelled my order from another large Internet retailer for failing to immediately ship the backordered laptop even after they got it back in stock.

Page Computer's website isn't very descriptive for the products they sell, but if you know what you want already, they seem to have it pretty cheap.

In addition, the tracking information for your shipment may take a while to appear on your account through their website, but they are pretty helpful if you call them in person.

I'd definitely buy from them again.

"On 7/24/04 I ordered when the item was IN STOCK in green letters on their website. A day later I get some email from pagecomputers about it not being instock. What is the deal with this? If it is instock why not ship it to me? O, it seems like after they cancelled my order they jacked up the price! Well well. This is some shady business going on here... I will be giving them a poor rating this time.
On 8/5/04 I ordered a different item, a NX6800GT TD256, GEFORCE 6800GT 256MB AGP 8XAGP GPU TV OUT DVI. Guess what? I got an email the next day saying currently unavailable even though it said IN STOCK in green letters when I ordered. Well it looks like page computers isn't as good as the reviews say since they don't seem to have instock items instock. How lousy.

"I purchased some Geforce 6800GT video cards from Page Computer for $323.50 each. They told me:

We try our best to fulfill your order as we appreciate your business, and your business makes our business successful.
We feel it is in your best interest that we cancel your order, so that you have ample time to source the product from
another supplier. We do not benefit from turning your business away and apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately,
we do not accept backorders because the manufacturers provide us with unreliable ETA's (estimated time of arrival) for
their products. We would not be providing the best service to our customers by holding an order and not knowing when it
will be available to ship.

"I ordered a 6800GT that was listed as "In stock" for $323.00, I then received a notice that the item was out of stock and my order was cancelled. I refreshed the page containing the ad for the card and was suprised to see it's price listed as $405.00.

This is a classic example of bait and switch and I'll never buy from, or recommend, Page Computer to anyone.....

My advice to all is to avoid this outfit!
