"First order from here, easy site to navigate, checkout was quick, product arrived securely packaged and in perfect shape. The price was excellent as well as the shipping fee. The only thing I would improve on from my purchase is the tracking info. Several attempts to check status reveiled nothing new except that it had been shipped. No arrival date. Other than that it went fine. I would recommend and I will purchase again from here."

"I purchased a laptop. The price is great. Later, I tried to add memory to it. So I called Page Computer and talked to the sales rep.
The laptop was shipped already (fast shipping. Good thing.), but, she could not tell me whether or not the laptop was shipped. All she could tell me was that the order has been sent to the distribution center.

She said, if I order over the phone, they charge a service charge of $20 or so. (I do not remember exact charge but big enough to not do so.)
Ordering on the phone is not an option.

Overall, they ship fast, and very good price for many stuff. But, the customer serivce wise, they have some room to improve such as giving more info about the merchandise on the web, clearer shipping status, and charging extra for phone order is not a pretty thing.

"Took them 3 days to ship item and they don't let you know when the item has shipped. When it finally arrived, I had made a mistake and needed to return it. They would not take responisibility for return. Made me call manufacturer who said they should take it back. Page insists that manufacturer must take it back and will look into it and let me know only after 7-10 days. Long wait if you have to call customer service."

"This review concerns an on-line retail website (www.pagecomputer.com). This incident has left me extremely angry.

A recap of the experience:
On October 13th at 7:30pm I placed an order for an AC Adapter for my Toshiba Satellite laptop from Page Computer's website. The information provided on your site was that this was a standard AC Adapter for use with my model computer (A75-S229). Upon receipt of the adapter it was immediately obvious that the adapter was not for my model computer, but rather for a European version of the laptop. Upon further review of the materials included in the box with the adapter, it clearly shows that this was a European version. This was not what I ordered, nor what I expected.

The following day after making this determination I made contact with Page Computer's customer service department to return the product (October 22nd). I was told that they would look into it. I then received a second message indicating that I had to contact the manufacturer (Toshiba) directly regarding the return (which makes absolutely no sense to me since I purchased it from Page Computers). However, I followed the process and spoke to Toshiba. The result of that call was as I expected - they directed me to contact Page Computers back as they had no connection with the order I placed with Page Computers and there was nothing they could do to aid in my return of this product to Page Computers.

On November 17th I contacted Page Computers and after much difficulty actually reached a live person. He initially indicated that there was nothing he could to for me and that I need to e-mail the returns department. As I had already gone through this process this was a very frustrating response. I asked to speak with somebody in the returns department and was told that there was nobody for me to speak with. After some insistence on my part to speak with a live person to have this resolved I was put on hold for nearly 5 minutes. The gentleman who was assisting me came back on the line and said the person I needed to speak with (Mr. G. Smith) was on the phone but if I would hold further he would connect me when he was free. I sat on hold for a couple of more minutes only to again speak to the gentleman assisting me to tell me that Mr. Smith was still on the phone, however he could take my phone number and I would be contacted in 2-3 days to resolve this issue. I left my phone number and requested that Mr. Smith call me. I did not receive a return phone call from Mr. Smith until *after* receipt of a follow-up e-mail that I sent directly to the Returns, Customer Service & Feedback departments listed on Page Computer's website. Unfortunately, Mr. Smith reached my voicemail and not me. I returned the call to Mr. Smith within 30 minutes of receiving the voicemail and as of yet have not received a return call from him (it is November 24th today.)

Later in the afternoon on the 17th I received an e-mail from the RMA Department. Essentially it told me nothing about my return, how to get it sent back and my credit card credited. Again I wait while my credit card incurs a finance charge for a product that was shipped incorrectly and that I have not been able to get a resolve on.

It is extremely frustrating to have to do "customer service" through e-mail. Your "customer service" is very lacking and thoroughly unhelpful. Phone calls should be returned, and a live person should always be available to assist with customer service concerns. I have received 2-3 e-mails since the above referenced mail in response to my trying to get this resolved and it has not moved forward. Essentially Page Computer is not taking responsibility for listing the wrong part on your website for the model computer I have, and will not take responsibility to take the part back and refund the cost. Pointing the customer to Toshiba - who I did NOT purchase the adapter from - is not a resolve to the problem. I made the purchase from Page Computer and I expect that Page Computer will resolve the issue that they (a) listed the wrong part and part number for the model of computer on their website and (b) shipped the wrong part to me.

Based on all of my dealings with Page Computer, I am very unhappy. I have decided I will never do business with you again - nor will I recommend your company to any of my associates or friends.

"Ordered a monitor from them on October 6th, was told the item shipped on the 8th. On the 18th I still had not received the item, and contacted them about it. Apparently their supplier had told them it shipped, when it was really back ordered. Item then shipped on the 19th, and was received on the 21st. Item came in perfect condition, as described. If i needed something fast, i would stick with newegg, but for larger orders (like a monitor) where they have great prices and having the item in 3 days isnt absolutely necessary, I would again shop from them. I did receive prompt and (seemingly) honest replies to my questions. Good customer service, even if the shipping was not up to par."

"I have placed three order with int the past week, usually late at night when all other work is done. Page Computer has come through each time in a more than timely manor. They must ship imediately after I order. Sometimes it seems they are serving us and us alone. I will now be looking at Page Computers closer now, for the items we need. Some times speed in delivery can elimnate a few cents in price.

"These guys took my order for an item that was supposedly "in stock." A few hours later, I got an email from them saying that they had cancelled my order. I went to their site to confirm this and got an ambiguous remark on the order status page. Did they cancel it, or not? I don't really know.

Mostly, I think it is appalling that retailers will take an order for an item that is not in stock.
