The power supply I ordered was even improved upon with sheathing of the cables, quick release molex connectors added etc. Unexpected, but most appreciated. I was contacted by a Performancs PCs rep regarding this review, asking if there was anything he could do to restore my confidence in them.
I think this is a good sign, and I'm glad to see that they take these reviews and customer satisfaction seriously.
As I said in the review there was no problem getting in touch with them.

I have not replied to the email yet, and they never asked me to change my review/rating, but because of the extra effort they made to make it right, I am changing my rating to satisfied from the original nither satisfied nor unsatisfied.

I will re-rate them (in a seperate review) after the next few orders I place with them.

I have ordered 2 times from these guys, Both orders had a problem.

First was for some flex-sleeved ATX adapters (20pin to 24 pin, and 4 pin 12v to 8 pin). They were out of stock (though the web site didn't show out of stock when I ordered) so I received an email offering to sleeve some adapters they had in stock, I told them fine, and chose black sleeving.
Of the 2 adapters I got, 1 was sleeved, the other was thick black heat shrink (NOT sleeved) so not flexible, (not as described).

RESOLUTION: I kept them, they were inexpensive, and I bought them for a test box I was making at work. They worked fine for the application I was using them for, But I wouldn't want to use them in a PC of mine.

The second order was for a Power supply tester and a Case handle. The problem was, even though the case handle product description made a big deal about the handle coming with the screws and washers you need to mount it, when I got it, there was NO HARDWARE. This sux, cause it was all I needed to finish a PC I was commissioned to build and deliver it prior to X-mas, so I either had to deliver it without the handle and come back after X-mas (30 mile round trip) to install it, or go out and buy some hardware at the local Home Depot during PEAK X-mas shopping time.

RESOLUTION: I emailed Performance PCs as soon as I got the order, and they sent out the hardware the next day, Priority Mail (same as the order shipped) and told me that the handles were new and the packer didn't know it needed hardware. I got the hardware the next week. This was still a pretty big pain for me at my busiest time of year.

Problems happen, and Performance PCs handled both problems as best they could, but my first 2 orders from them, and they both have a problem, well, that's a pretty big RED FLAG to me. I buy LOTS of stuff on line, and almost never have any problems. 0 for 2 scares me a bit

Their web site is very good, and they have decent prices, and a GREAT selection of hard to find PC modding stuff. I'm sure I'll buy from them again, I just won't order anything critical from them for a long while.

"I have ordered many times from performance-pcs.com. I first found the site through a PC modding forum that the owner regularly posted on. Roughly a year later I ordered my case, power supply, mouse pad, IDE cables, SATA cables, and just about everything else in my computer that is not actual hardware. So far I have spent over $500 at the store and I have yet to encounter one problem with any of the many items, big or small, I have purchased from them.
All of the cables in my case are sleeved white, with white heat shrink. The sleeving was done by Performance Pc's and it is flawless. I tried sleeving some new LED fans, but I had to cut the sleeved wires from the old ones and put them on the new fans. No matter how many times I tried sleeving, I could not come close to the quality job they have done.
The prices are at very least the same as, usually better than, every similar site. Customer service was excellent when I had a shipping issue (my fault, not theirs). They ship almost immediately unless you order something that has to be custom sleeved. Even then they have your products at your door as soon as possible.
I would have to say this site is the best all around site for any computer modding supplies. Any sleeving they do is perfect, and the cost is amazingly cheap for the service. I have one item in my computer from another site, and honestly FrozenCPU cannot sleeve cables nearly as neatly as Performance Pc’s. Do not hesitate to order from them. If I need anything for my computer it's always ordered from Performance Pc's, not FrozenCPU or Xoxide. You will pay less, get better products, and get them faster than you would ordering from anywhere else. All of my friends and family order from this site now, and you should too. You will not be disappointed."
