"ADVICE: Before payment be convinced that the goods are in stock. Because the goods are out of stock can will be found out only after payment, as has occurred to me.

I bought game for 90$ 26 of november (It was a gift for Chrismas), NOW is February and they do not send my order yet, because game is out of stock. And they cannot re-stocking.

"My order arrived after 5 weeks and a half (which was not their fault), but Play-Asia was very considerant and has re-shipped my order because I was worried.

Play-Asia is very friendly and safe, so even if you don't receive your order - don't worry, Play-Asia will offer you a refund or re-ship of your order.

My order has arrived in perfect condition and I really recommend you to buy from this incredibly awesome shop.

And by the way, if your order doesn't arrive after 2 weeks, just be patient because it probably will later. I'd say wait a bit more before you request a refund. And it is important to note that the delay in shipping is not Play-Asia's fault, as they can't monitor their orders once they're shipped out.

"I pre-ordered Dirt 2 (on Xbox 360, NTSC). Play Asia dispatched my order 5 days after the US release of Dirt 2 (it takes them time to get the game from US) and I shipped it via EMS. It took about 10 days in total till I had the game in my Xbox 360 and rocking up online multiplayer.

Pros
(+) Wide variety of games from every region
(+) Detailed shipping options available
(+) Credit card security, peace of mind
(+) Good customer support

Cons
(-) Older games are often not available
(-) Back ordered games take a while to be available

Bottom Line
Play Asia is the best place to shop for Xbox 360 and PS3 games that may not be available in your region, whether NTSC or PAL. Highly recommended.

"I ordered two PS3 games from Play-Asia near Christmas because their prices for "overseas version" PS3 games was cheaper than what I can find here locally (Japan), and they ship for free to addresses in Japan (based on order amount). The package was shipped the next day, and although it took some time to arrive due to the Christmas/New Years holidays, it arrived well packed and without problems. Also, because I was a bit worried about the shipping delay, I emailed customer service and received a personal reply which did a lot to let me know I was dealing with an upstanding company. The US$5 coupon in the package was icing on the cake of a satisfying transaction. I will order again, definitely."

"My first order at play-asia.com, however, due to some unknown problems with postal system, my order didnt arrive and I reported lost order to play-asia. They(Good people at Play-Asia) gave me full store credit.

Here I used the credit but did a mistake and again opted for Free-economy shipping. 3 weeks passed and my order didnt arrive. I was feeling lost and I reported this to Play-Asia. Offcourse any company can't just continue to send goods in replacement of lost items. They told me the the replacement of lost order was insured only if it was sent through courier and not with free-shipping. Luckily I got my good on the 25th Day!.

Catch is, its a great company and customer service is excellent. They almost do all the efforts within their reach but they cannot handle operations done by post. So it is recommended that if you place a big order, you should not consider the free option. No tracking and delivery not guaranteed. Over all a long, tedious but in the end good experience.

"Back once again but this time a very disappointing review.

I had pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 from play-asia in December, which I had been patiently waiting for over 1 year.

It finally came and guess what. The game couldn't be played at all! Thinking it was my machine I tried it with different games and another ME2 borrowed from a friend and it worked fine!

Mind you, the DVD was fresh from the box untouched and unwrapped. I googled, and there it was a DVD defect that others experienced too.

So I requested a replacement or a refund. I do love this company, never had any problems. But this is just unacceptable. Maybe I am unlucky. Have been buying from this company for over 2 years now.

*UPDATE, I have sent them the defected disk and nothing. To top it off, my other 2 orders have not arrived. What a nice 2010.

"Pre-order of Final Fantasy 13; was supposed to be sent out on the 17th, and was only sent out on the 18th. Understandable, given the amount of orders, but I do feel some contact should have been made.

The fact that play-asia.com removed their resellerratings box from the front page as FF13 was released is a little underhanded in my opinion.

Product has not yet been delivered, but I hope for delivery in the 1-4 days promised on the play-asia site.

"This has been my first experience buying from Play Asia and although I experienced a significant delay in recieving my order (over a month) I doubt this actually had anything to do with Play Asia.
The Customer Service I recieved was excellent. The people responding normally responded within a day and tried their best to rectify any problems I was having.
The package was well packed with a spiffy, custom sticker on the front notifying me that this was a Play Asia package.
I would highly, highly reccomend that if you enjoy importing from Asia that Play Asia should definitely be your one stop shop.
You can shop with confidence. You've got buyer protection, plenty of shipping options and thousands of items to choose from.

"I preorder Final Fantasy XIII from Play-Asia on Sep 9 more than 3 months in advance. I heard that some people got their orders shipped early so I mailed them and got the following reply today.

However it is past 8pm and not only has my order not shipped, the Available/Reserve/Ready For Dispatch marker for my order just dissappeared.

Yet I find other people's order has been sent even they ordered later than my Sep 9 order.

And Play-Asia dares to claim that the orders are processed first come first served on their website. This is blatant false advertising!

I demand an explanation. What is the point of preordering???!!!

Update 1: Email from P-A claiming the early shipments were different versions (Region 3). This is incorrect as I am aware Region 2 that were shipped and will post proof when I receive the necessary snapshots. The email however came with the guarantee that my order will ship today so I am willing to give P-A one chance to make this correct. For the record, there is yet any update on the order screen.

Update 2: Play-Asia has shipped as promised altho it has costs me my weekend gaming as it was shipped after fedex's cutoff time.

I would give Play-Asia a + for at least responding to customer enquiries altho till today it is still hazy why the preorders were shipped out in the order that they did.

I have purchased numerous times from P-A and will continue to do so due to their competitive pricing and shipping. But will certainly thin again on preorders. Maybe once the product is released....

"This was my first time ordering from Play-Asia and I must say that they provide excellent customer service. They'll pretty much do what I ask them to. From what I hear, my cousin says that they process and ship the parcels very quickly as long as they're in stock at the time of purchase.
