"Pre-ordered a set of poster, they sent the item out once the the item is in-stock according to their estimate release date, item arrived after 3 working days to my place via UPS service, happy with the delivery speed and customer support does replied my query within 24hours at their best.

Would buy again in the future.

"Well, I purchased a Wii game and then suddenly it was out of stock. So I said to myself, ok, and then I wanted to cancel it because it would take to long to get to my residence in time for Christmas. So I write them and decide to cancel it, I wrote customer service MANY MANY times and they never responded. Usually their service is really good and I have had very few problems with them, but it seems that they NEVER check their e-mail and then they, after you ask them to cancel it, they end up shipping the item to you anyway when you specifically ask them for a refund. They REALLY NEED to check their e-mails. I am a little dissapointed about this aspect."

"I've ordered couple of items from Play-asia, mostly video games, and as for comparison, I find it that play asia provides the cheapest price than from any other japan video games website, and also it provides free shipping to my country

As for the item, maybe the time of arrival always arrived differently, sometimes fast, sometimes it's not, but I believe it's not their mistake since the post office held most of the responsibility , and I really love how they always answered their customer with patience and friendly advised..most people buy online, be prepared to have more patience don't just start nagging when your items haven't arrived yet..

there's one time when I place order about 2 years ago, my package arrived 40 days after..but it's okay as long it's not lost and never my order is lost from play-asia, and I only email them about 2 times to get to know how to track the package

but my package arrived this year sometimes 7 days, the other 18 days,..randomly arrived but always arrived safely in great condition

"Play Asia shipped my order just 2 hours after ordering, that is amazing.

I used Economy Air shipping, it took a long time to get here, but it's very cheap. It says 5-14 days on the shipping options page and 4-5 weeks in rare occasions, it was 20 days for me.

The game works well and is exactly what I ordered. I will be making my next order soon.

All in all I'm very happy with their service.

"I have been ordering from Play-Asia for a while and have only positive things to say about them as a company.

They are fast with deliverys, they always package items well depending on the option you select and best of all. They have a dedicated customer service team that with enough respect will try and solve any problem you may have.

One of the things I love about Play-Asia is that they always pass the savings on to the customer, they have lots of budget games and are the first place I look when wanting to buy an import PS2/Wii/Ds games.

In my eyes they are the best asian mail order company I have ever used.

A+ for Service, A+ for Value, A+ for ease of use.

"Ordered an item on October 9. IT is now December 6. All I've got from Play-Asia -- while my money sits in Play-Asia's bank accruing interest -- is canned emails as run-arounds and excuses which amount to their supplier -- it's always someone else's fault -- not saying one way or the other whether the item is available.

And I receive their freequent emails trying to sell me stuff I don't want.

Never again will I attempt to buy anything from Play-Asia, as it appears Play-Asia offers for sale items which are apparently both out of stock and out of print, therefore unavailable.

Added 12/08/09:

So I demanded that the item ordered on October 9 -- during all of which time the order was being "prepared" -- to be shipped immediately, or to refund my money IMMEDIATELY. So now my refund is "in process".

How many months will it take for THAT to be actually DONE?

"As a rule, I haven't had too many problems with Play Asia, but a lot of that has to do with avoiding any product not at 24 hour status. I do this for the simple reason that most of the time, I find interacting with their customer service staff via email to be aggravating and unpleasant due to their inability to accurately read my queries. The pre written "canned" responses are often unhelpful and require further action on my behalf to get my grievances across.

This being said, I have ordered A LOT from Play Asia over the years. 2 or 3 orders a month generally, all of them trackable via UPS or FED Ex, and with the exception of a fewlate deliveries (always the carriers fault), have never had a parcel go missing or not arrive. I would recommend Play Asia to my friends evertime so long as they understand, only order items at 24 hour availability. The 5-15 day status is too hit and miss for my liking and creates more problems than it's worth.

The ability to check if the games are compatible with your console is amazing, and the only time things haven't worked out is if I didn't read the page right.

"I bought 2 copies of Kana Little Sister separately. Both times they took 2 weeks to reach me (in Toronto, Canada).
If you're buying something the size of a standard DVD case, this store is the way to go. The economy bubble shipping is only $4, there are no duties/customs fees (at least in my case), and it gets delivered like a standard letter (won't have to pick it up later at a post office if you missed the mailman).

"I have made many purchases from Play-Asia and my orders came to my home usually between 5 and 10 days. My last purchase took a month to arrive but before it arrived I asked Play-Asia for assistance and they were quick and helpful.

"I've been using Play-Asia for around 3 years now, and while they were excellent in the first couple of years, the standards have dropped significantly over the past few months.

The story began when I placed a pre-order for Idolmaster for the DS in July 2009, with a release date set for September 2009. Later, I added another DS game to the order.

The September release date arrived and Play-Asia shipped my order out to me. While it took around 5 to 7 days in the past to get my goods, 14 days seems to be the norm nowadays.

Upon opening the package, I discovered that Play Asia had forgotten to ship Idolmaster along with the package, only giving me the DS game that I had added later (although now, I'd like to believe that they forgot), despite charging my card for both games.

I didn't think much of it as people do make mistakes. So I emailed them, and they said they would get new stock within a week from their supplier.

One week turned into one month, and one month then turned into two. Not a single word was heard from them. I emailed them again, and received the following message:

"I am very sorry for the delay in shipping your order. There is a sudden delay in restocking. We regret the restocking date is still not confirmed. We will try to get the stock and ship your order as soon as possible. If there are any news, we will contact you. For the time being, we kindly request for your patience."

Incidentally, another order of mine (a recently released guide book) at Play-Asia was also being delayed, and when I emailed them about the other order, I got the exact same reply.

Come on, Play-Asia. Not only are cut-and-paste messages a poor way of showing your sincerity towards your customers, do you honestly expect me to believe that a large, prominent company like yours, or your suppliers cannot get hold of a game which has only been out for 2 months? Or a book released just last month? Or give me a rough date of delivery instead of leaving me to wait in frustration? I'm beginning to wonder if you are serious at all about fulfilling my orders. Your suppliers must be shaking their legs at the warehouse.

A person would be an idiot to continue on with this after 5 months of waiting, but I do want to believe that they're working their hardest and give them the benefit of the doubt, since they've wowed me in the past with their service. But so far, they're not showing me that they're even trying.

"I've never ever went through anything like this in my life before, when ordering something from online. I have been told to becareful when I order things on the internet and it hit me, yes.
It's been approximately 40 days since I made an order of 1 ps3 game from play-asia and I live in s.korea. I mean going through this for buying something for my very first time is pretty rediculius. I wrote to play-asia like 232976479246 times, but they just keep writing back saying "be paitence" C'mon it's been 40 days!
I don't recommend anyone from s.korea ordering games from this site if you dont want to go through what I did. And btw I still haven't gotten my item yet from them.........Sad
