"I purchased a Sager NP9860 SUPRA through Powernotebooks.com. I have now been using the laptop for about 2 weeks pretty consitently. And it WORKS GREAT.

I have had a few friends purchase Sager laptops in the past and the ones who purchased through Powernotebooks were always very happy. I heard a couple complaints about other companies.
The laptop itself is more then I could have ever wanted. Sadly, it runs much better then my Desktop PC. But I did purchase the laptop to make it so I didn't have to haul around my desktop when I go out to game.
During setup I had a few weird issues with installing Windows XP(it is a pain even for someone who knows what they are doing). But I called and was promptly sent instructions on installing with the ATA drive. I would recommend having Windows XP installed at factory to save a lot of hassle. "
"I was looking for a notebook computer that could do everything I wanted including gaming. I ordered an Alienware notebook but I was later told that they would take two to three weeks longer than then told me. The customer service at Alienware was the worst I've every experienced. I spoke to the sales person (Ron Baird) at power notebooks. Ron was courteous, helpful and patience. I was a little hesistant about ordering another notebook over the internet but Ron took care of my worries. I am very happy with my notebook, power pro A 2:21 (Asus Z71V). It came as close to on time as it was predicted and the customer service at power notebooks is very oustanding. Believe me! Alienware doesn't even come close to the personal service I received from power notebooks. "I needed a new DVD-RW drive for my laptop beause my previous one did not read discs anymore. I looked around and found that they had my drive for the cheapest. I sent an e-mail inquiring about the make and model of the new DVD-RW drive that I was interested in like would it fit, make and model, warranty, etc. They answered my questions by e-mail quickly. When I found that the UPS site did not track my order properly, I called them and they were bale to provide me with information on what happened and explained some options if my order was handled improperly. The order was going to be late one day than originally planned, but Kathy called me and informed me of what happened. "After sending my laptop back on RMA twice and to the manufacturer once, PowerNotebooks.com seemed like they really wanted to fix my problem. Though the initial two RMAs did not fix my laptop, contact with PNB customer service had been friendly. Emails were replied as if I were top priority; phone calls always landed me on a human voice. I had had a broken LCD screen that would show black or flicker when it felt like it. Neither the factory nor the manufacturer could diagnose this problem. I had been angry and even posted a review focusing on this problem.
Afterwards, the owner of PNB, Donald, personally called me and explained to me their situation: the problematic parts were difficult to diagnose or replace because they were not completely broken. The problem with my screen seemed to be a broken wire that still worked. After explaining this to me, Donald promised to replace my laptop’s shell – in effect replacing that darned wire. In the conversation, he even promised to replace my malfunctioning DVD/CD-RW drive, a problem that I hadn’t brought up to PNB directly.
With the sincerity in Donald’s phone call, I am confident that I’ll have a working laptop again. What you read here and on other places is true: PowerNotebooks.com always tries its best to achieve customer satisfaction.
Here’s a summary of what I think:
1. PNB always does what it can and what the customer asks of it.
2. Its service and support is friendly and easy to work with.
3. Though PNB tries its best, I feel like there are small failures in communication. This is probably better than what you’ll get from other companies, though.

"I am a soldier serving overseas and these guys did an outstanding job! I got my pc in 10 days (which is unheard of over here) and it was built to order. I would recommend powernotebooks.com to anyone who wanted excellent service, attention to detail, and genuine concern for the customer (which is a rarity from what I've experienced). I made a mistake on my order and from original order submission time to correction to finalized order verification was 11 minutes and they did it at 11:00 Friday Night! (Pacific local time) It's nice to see that customer service isn't gone and that they are dedicated to their business. Other companies say that they do that, but I can tell you that it isn't always the case.

" Not enough good things can be said about PowerNotebooks.com. I sent them a Money order for almost $2000 and was notified upon it's receipt, notified when my notebook shipped (Less than the 4 days anticipated) and rec'd a UPS tracking number. This is when the system sort of faultered, when UPS (Sometimes known as "Brown") completely botched the transport and delivery. They placed it in the wrong container and shipped it elsewhere and when they finally located it (2 days after it was to be delivered), instead of overnighting it to me, they placed it on another ground truck and I rec'd it a week after it was sched. to arrive.
That aside, PowerNotebooks.com kept in continuous contact with me, used their "Red phone" to stay on UPS and assured me that if it were lost/stolen, it was insured and they would replace it.
In conclusion, FLUSH ANYTHING BROWN, however PowerNotebooks.com is a 1st class company and my notebook (Sager 4750 Force) is a sight to behold."

PowerNoteBook's customer support is quite excellent, both over eMail and Phone. eMail responces are usualy sent out within 24 hours and are very helpfull.
I only ran into a few snags while doing business with PowerNotebooks: The day my notebook arvied, but before I opened my package, I recieved a call from PowerNotebooks informing me that a coupple coustomers recently had not gotten their AC adapter in their shipment. Low-and-behold I hadent either. This wasnt much of a problem though because they sent the AC adapter the same day using Next Day Shipping, so I recieved it the very next day. I look at this problem as "hey... sh*t happens... no big deal".
The PowerPro is very nice, light weight, and powerfull. It came with a free 2 year Parts and Labor Warranty and a 1 year No Dead Pixel Warranty; which are both quite nice.
