"I was, as I am sure most people would be, quite apprehensive about making a large purchase such as a laptop over the internet from a "reseller". I had wanted a new computer for a while, and the recent choice of laptop over desktop was made, so I began my research. After looking at all the "greats" out there, I came upon two companies listed at Reseller Ratings which offered more than I wanted for a lot less than I was willing to spend. Needless to say that wasn't a bad thing. So to my happiness I thouroughly combed over both web pages to make my decision. I was originally going to go with PC Torque. With their slightly better price, and boundless information that they offer about their laptops it seemed a logical choice, until I called them. They were for lack of a better term "rude as hell". This detered me from purchasing from them, making me even more apprehensive about doing an online order. I immediately called Power Notebooks as an alternitive. The representative put me into contact with their head honcho, Doanald Stratton. Mr. Stratton was quite eager to answer all my questions. He was very polite, and quite knowledgable. He explained every answer I seeked in plain english, and also explained the advantages and disadvantages of a notebook compared to a desktop. Our whole conversation lasted about 20 minutes all in all. He answered my questions so well that I ordered my new Sager 8890 on the spot. The whole company was quite courteous, responded to my emails no matter what, (ie 2:00 AM), and was with me in every step of my ordering process.
The only qualm I had was that my shipping was a bit longer than I had expected, but this was due to my Credit Card Company and UPS.
I am now writing this review several months later, and my computer is still going strong. It is sleek, extremely powerful, and the envy of every Tech Guy on my campus. They scoffed at my Sager 8890 being a laptop, but were blown away that it is more powerful than their own desktop, since it benchmarked over 3200 3D Mark. Their desktops scored a high of 1750. This thing was also capable of running a program called Mother Nature, which the Tech Guys could only get running on a MAC. They said it crashed every other PC. So that was enough to verify that I had not invested my money in a grey piece of crap.
I do HIGHLY recommend Power Notebooks, and the Sager line of Laptops. My 8890 2.8Ghz 1 Gig ram laptop is incredible, and I am more than happy with my investment. Powernotebooks was more helpful, most other stores I had been to in person. They definitely know how to keep their customers coming back.
They now have me as a customer. They are worthy of their 10.0 review rating.

"Had emailed this company several times with questions before I ordered my 4780. I got such quick, honest answers so fast. The company boasts Christ as their example and their actions prove it. The 4780 arrived ahead of schedule with no defects and works great. Customer service is great here. Had originally ordered a 4780 from a different company which boasts glossy paint jobs but the unit was defective. Wanted to send it in for repair (right to them) but never heard from them. What was even more bizarre was the name of the motherboard shown on some utilites was "sis648 DEMO BOARD! Hypersonic didn't even my question about that one. This unit is better than that one by far. Even the protective plastic over the lcd and such shows that this 4780 was brand new. The prices at the web site for these units are at the low to end. I got a lot for my money.
And when I am not using the laptop for work I'm playing games. The sound on the 4780 is by far the best sound I have ever heard in a laptop.

"Over the last five years or so I've ordered a ton of stuff online from vendors of all sorts. Nothing, however, has impressed me more than the professionalism and graciousness shown by PowerNotebooks, and specifically, Don Stratton.

Coming to them after reading one glowing testamonial after another here, and then deciding to go ahead and order a C3:16, the experience couldn't have been more gratifying. Don returned every call and email promptly, configured the machine as ordered and shipped it out promptly. The C3:16 itself is extremely quick and responsive (I still can't believe how quickly it boots Windows XP compared to my aging desktop Athalon Thunderbird 800), and its display, in crispness of detail, is stunning, In fact, I find that after a couple of hours of working on notebook, returning to my 19" Hitachi monitor (no slouch on its own terms) can be painful. Speaking of Hitachi, I also ordered the 7.200 RPM 60GB drive for the C3:16, and it flies. My only regret is that I didn't go ahead and order 1 GB of RAM instead of the 512MB right from the outset.
