"We bought 2 laptops from this reseller. They arrived working, but were significantly underclocked (these were 2.4 GHz P4s that clocked at around 1.8 GHz). Powernotebooks was VERY helpful in resolving this problem and helped get 2 replacement laptops crosshipped from the manufacturer with absolutely no hassel or delay (2nd day air!). It was great that I didn't have to wait for them to get the old boxes before they shipped new ones.
I will definitly use this reseller again. However, I would probably opt for their other brand next time as it is supported in house at the reseller level with no need to contact a second company (if I understand the arrangement correctly).
The problem I described above was, I believe, an honest mistake (on the manufacturers part and not powernotebooks who is without blame) and was resolved in a professional manner.

"I ordered a Sager NP8886-C with a customized French keypad. Powernotebooks put together the laptop and shipped to Hawaii. I installed WIN XP Pro (French Version) and installed all of the drivers, there was no problem. I also installed my Linksys wireless router, put a PCMCIA wireless card, it worked without any problem. I am able to check my emails anywhere in the house and plug the TV cable to the laptop. It's great, I am able to do a lot of stuff, download MP3 and burn into CDs etc.

This was my first major purchase online, and I was a little skittish about sending 2K to a company I had not heard of before. But I did my research and went to this site. I contacted a few people that had ordered from them and were very pleased. Boy am I glad that I did. The customer service is unreal. You can actually talk to a human anytime they are open. I exchanged emails so quickly with Joel at powernotebooks, it was almost like instant messenger. He was great and actually got me my laptop a day earlier than we agreed upon which was nice, because once I finished waffling and placed the order, I was ready for it to be here yesterday. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company...after all they sold me the "Mother-of-All" laptops at an unheard of price. All brand name parts in a great package.
