"I thought that I had a defective hard drive with the PowerPro IV:24 I ordered from Donald Stratton, and sent the unit back. He tested it, and said that it was fine. In the meantime, they sent me a second unit, and I am having second thoughts now about which notebook I should have ordered to begin with. Donald assured me tonight that this is not a problem. I have been ordering products for 30 years, since long before the internet, when sales made to 1-800 vendors were called "mail order" and have dealt with literally thousands of merchants, but I have never dealt with one who had better service than powernotebooks.com. I had read the reviews here before I ordered from him, and I can now assure you that there is a reason that these folks have a perfect score here on resellerratings.com. First, and foremost, they give the immediate impression that they genuinely care about your needs and desires. I have described very briefly my experience with them, and, in my case, UPS is going to make the most money when the deal is over. Donald and his company have proven to me that they are absolutely, truly service driven. What does this mean in the dot com sales world? It means that this business will grow hugely and prosper long-term. This man is not looking at the profit margin on each individual deal. He is simply providing the best service possible to each customer, knowing that anyone who buys from him will likely refer many others to him. I am an example of this. At a time when I was unsure if I wanted a replacement notebook, or a refund, I had already told 3 people I work with to order notebooks from him!! That should say it all!"

At first I had a lot of doubts about these people – I have never had any business with this company and as usual it is always some type of risk is involved, especially if you haven’t seen or tried this product. I looked on the web for a company who does sell SAGER laptops – I found only a few companies that looked competent to me, one of them was Powernotebooks. The price for the laptop was very close to the price another company was asking for – however, I went to the seller rating site I am writing my rating for and found out that they are known company where the other company stayed in the shade. My choice was simple. I had one question about the laptop and the video card; I made and sent my question to them. A few minutes later I received feedback from a sales person: Joel Kleppinger. Joel explained to me the difference between ATI 7200 and ATI 9000 video cards in great details. A few days later I ordered my laptop, but 3 days later I changed my mind and called on the day when they were about to ship my laptop and changed my order to another laptop that I liked and Joel said it is not a problem we will send you the one you want. To my luck it happened to be that the laptop I wanted to get now was out of stock, however the good news was that even a newer machine is going to be available in a week. Joel called me and explained to me current situation, I made my decision to wait another week but to get even newer then very new machine. After all the laptop was sent to me as promised in perfect condition no scratches or dents or any other defects. The speed and the power of the laptop is beyond any needs, however it is better to have more power then less. I am entirely happy after all and willing to have more business with Powernotebooks.com again. Only one downside with Sager Laptop very small capacity original battery, it only works up to 1 hour which is very small fragment of time for remote work. I am planning to buy additional battery so I can work longer hours with out ac outlet.

I bought the P4 2.8ghz NP5660 with a gig of ram and most of the amenities for roughly 2600 (including shipping and credit card instead of wire transfer, should have just gone down to the damn bank). The system arrived very very quickly and is simply awesome. The only issues I have with it are weight (about 9-10 pounds) and heat (many many vents, but when it's taxed heat is radiating out the side and through the keys). What do I expect though with a laptop this cutting edge?"
