I ordered the Sager NP8880-C (but with some of the parts upped)...

Instantly service began, with a flurry of e-mails going back and forth concerning the status of my order right up to the timer (even after) the laptop was delivered (which was almost 2 weeks with 2nd Day Air)...I was mostly in contact with Donald. That guy...he doesn't sleep (like me:D).

This same but "worse" configuration at Dell/Toshiba costs about $1500 more...*sigh*...what's in a name...

Anyway, I ended up NOT paying the $2,235.90!!! The price went down (I'm guessing due to technology getting better stuff or something)...and these people were nice enough to lower the price to $2,133.33. What kind of company does that? Lower the price of a an already lowcost product?!?! POWERNOTEBOOKS.COM!! Amazing...over $100 off....and the thing is is that I paid by credit card...if I had paid by PayPal check I would have had an ADDITIONAL 2.5% taken off. BAM!

And now I have this laptop...and I love it...it's a bit on the heavy side, but eh, it's extremely manageable...and I'm a weakling!"

"Usually I do not make any reviews, but looking for a laptop I found the reseller site and it really worked. I found powernotebooks, sent some mail and they were calling from Nevada to San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is the best place to get some really cost-features on a laptop. The Sager is a Mercedes Benz, comparing to Dell, Gateway, which pays lots of commercials and the customer has to finance the expense. Call or mail Donald Stratton.

"I just wanted to take a moment and thank Donald Sratton and staff for the GREAT service Powernotebooks.com provided me when purchasing my SAGER notebook. Donald Stratton gave me the absolute BEST service I have ever experienced both in a store or website!! Their customer service is second to NONE!

After my notebook was built, (only about 3 or 4 days) I had to change my shipping address from an overseas location to a stateside address to meet a last minute schedule change on my part. All I had to do is email Donald and he hooked me up! My notebook was redirected and was at my stateside address EXACTLY when he said it would be, the shipping charges were reduced and refunded promptly.

This computer ROCKS!!! Its performance is better then anything I’ve ever touched! "This company is unbelievable! As the usually story goes I was very sckeptical about this 10 for 10. I mean c'mon not even the best can't get a perfect? I was wrong. Donald and his team were very patient with the many questions that I had. And to top it off I would almost get instantanous(sp?) responses from Donald. Even though I emailed him around 10 or 11 at night. I mean...Wow that is service second to none.
As for my brand new Sager 5620-s, this thing is a beast. The only down side is that its hot and heavy. But I gladly takes these drawbacks for the powerful machine. "Okay to start off, i NEVER write comments about business companies, cause i don't care about how they do their business at all, but Powernotebooks.com...they are perhaps THE best computer company out there and I do not care if this helps their business or not, but their service has compelled me to write a flurry a comments.

1. I ordered a 2.4 ghz, Sager NP 8880 Supra, the top of the line at their company, which is just simply amazing, you knwo what tho? Donald Stratton, E-mailed me a couple of days later informing that they upgraded me from a 2.4 ghz to a 2.6 ghz INtel Processor. FREE OF CHARGE. That amzed me right there.

THeir tech support is personal, quick, reliable and again Donald is amazing, I think i exchanged 10-15 e-mails with him, with him answering every question of mine from where is the notebook lock to if the notebook supports DUAL monitor, which it does.

The packaging is safe and reliable, it arrived on time with little or no complications, i did not have one of my hard-drives partioned, but i spoke to donald and tech support whom e-mailed me the next morning with specific instructions with step by step processes to show me how to format and partition

WOuld u like ot know what service is? Powernotebooks.com. I e-mailed donald for a question about payment, he called me in 3 mins after that to discuss a payment method,

SOon after that I e-mailed him again about a comptuer question, 10 mins later, another e-mail came from Donald, *THe Man Does Not Sleep...*

"Dealing with powernotebooks.com was a great experiance all around. I originally ordered a computer that I had custom built instead of upgrading a sale model. The next day, someone from powernotebooks.com called me to say that I could get the exact same computer for $100 less if I started from the sale model. When I asked a few technical questions, I was referred to Donald, who answered every question with detail and clarity. My computer arrived when I was told it would, and I've been in love with it ever since. I ordered the Sager NP 8880 with 2.4 GHz, 1024 RAM, 40 GB hard drive, a DVD/CDRW, another cd drive, and some other bonuses. Donald told me that this computer was raw power, and he's absolutely right. I can play a game on a CD while listening to music on the other CD drive, then Alt+Tab to Windows and start playing with Photoshop 7, all with no slow-down. A minimal amount of software came installed on the computer, which was a big selling point for me. "Boy, where do I start? There are so many good things to say about PowerNotebooks. I spent about 6 months configuring laptops on various companies' websites, but found I was always having to compromise on something, such as video memory, system memory or processing speed. Now, I know when you get above 1 ghz, the speed doesn't really matter for most things most people do. However, I wanted an ego trip. :) I found it in the Sager NP8880-Supra, and I didn't have to compromise on anything I wanted. Best of all, it was cheaper than anything out there, and PowerNotebooks has a perfect 10.

But, I was still apprehensive. That's a lot of money to trust to someone. After reading all the comments posted here and on the forums, I decided to go for it. I requested on the site that someone at PowerNotebooks contact me. I disconnected from the net, leaned back and the phone rang. Yes, the response was that fast. Wow! I thought I'd have to wait at least a couple of hours.

Donald was very friendly and answered all my questions, even suggesting a way to fix the problems with my desktop system. Talking with him, I could tell he had a real enthusiasm about the product he was selling (and using). I decided to order the next week when I got paid and my savings would finally be sufficient to pay for it.

I called them Tuesday, the 13th, and someone picked up after the first ring. Whoa. The woman informed me that Donald was out of the building and that he would call me back, or I could go ahead and order from someone else. I elected to have Donald call me back.

When he did, he treated me like he wanted to know me as a friend, not as just another customer to hurry through the order. I knew exactly what I wanted, so that didn't take long. I ordered it and promised to wire the money first thing the next morning when my bank opened. He took me at my word and ordered the laptop. Now how many companies would take the word of a 19 year old girl, even a serious-minded one? I needed the PC by Saturday morning, when I would be leaving on a trip and Donald was able to get it to me Friday morning.

Ooh, now that I've had it almost a week, I can tell you this baby is a screamer! Everyone I know is jealous, from the computer-illiterate friend to the tech-head with several home-built computers. The screen is so big and so clear that looking at my desktop monitor makes me think my eyes are getting worse. All the programs that would grind my 1.3ghz desktop to a halt barely registers on the laptop.

I'm so glad I ordered this computer from this company. I have no doubt that if I am ever in need of assistance with this computer, I will get it. And since I'm now completely sold on the whole laptop idea, every computer I buy in the future will be from PowerNotebooks.
