"Thanks Power Notebooks! I absolutely love my SAGER NP8130 laptop. I have been able to run L4D2 and a number of its contemporaries at playable frame rates (30+ fps) at 1080p (and 1920x1200 via an external monitor) using the games' max graphics settings. The SAGER has gracefully handled everything that I've thrown at it. I love that the machine hasn't been pre-loaded with bloatware, and I appreciate that SAGERs are "customer-installed upgrades" friendly. I have a very nice Dell 6600M at work, but I honestly much prefer the SAGER laptop (the 15" chassis, the superior 1080p matte screen and a cost savings of about ~$1k account for much of this preference). Power Notebooks was a joy to work with. I look forward to using them again in the future, and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat."

I bought my first laptop from them a couple years back, and I remember how amazed I was that the owner of the company (Donald Stratton) responded to my questions within 20 minutes of my email. This was on a weekend. Later I had the pleasure of speaking to multiple members of their company over the telephone, and I began to see a pattern in the way their team works. Each representative answered my various questions with skill and punctuality; all the while speaking to me with a genuine friendliness and care that made me feel like I was the one and only customer in the world. "I highly recommend buying your laptop from powernotebooks. The experience was exactly as described by other reviews. I dealt with Donald who was incredibly patient while I asked tons of questions that are probably already understood by most computer users. I read the reviews and I also confirmed there better business ratings, which are excellent. I also liked that Donald participates in forums. I had originally spoken with Xoticpc about the model that I was interested in the msi x460dx. They at the time did'nt actually have it in house. I then spoke to Donald who not only had it in house but was able to give me his initial impressions ie: screen quality,build quality as well as his opinion of MSI as a company. In addition he was already planning future benchmark testing and possible reconfiguring, he was also very upfront about when that would happen- not until after the back to school rush. All calls and emails were responded to immediately. Two final points-I truly appreciated that Donald never tried to sell me anything and asked what I wanted to do with the computer, as well as what I expected from the upgrades I was interested in and why he thought they were not necessary,or based on my needs were a good choice. Lastly, Donald was able to give me a four business day turnaround. I also recieved emails before and after delivery and recieving it. The product itself is excellant very well packed. No dead pixels. I also think the screen is better than I expected. This notebook is beastly! The USB 3.0 is amazingly fast compared to 2.0. I am able to run both Starcraft 2 and Shogun 2 on MAXED settings smoothly, with no need to overclock! I'm blown away by the performance of this notebook compared to my previous. This was an extremely important purchase for me, because I will be leaving on a deployment to Afghanistan in just over a month and this will more then likely be my only source of entertainment. I can't exactly throw a flat screen TV and X-Box into my rucksack :).
