"Puget Systems is a very well operated company. Their customer service is phenomenal. I submitted a custom build for review, and got a reply less than an hour later. Wilson (my sales rep) made sure my build would not conflict and took out extra hardware off that was just overkill. Saved me close to $400.00. Who does that in this modern capitalist society? Most businesses nowadays are not geared toward the consumer, ironically. This business seems like they want to do things right from the get-go and nuture a consumer relationship. This is a very good business model.
Aside from their superb business model and employees; they make f--kin epic CPU's! My Deluge looks like it belongs in NASA and makes games like Skyrim look like "RL". I will only buy from Puget in the future, hands down. Messed with IBM, Dell, HP, etc. for many years and those companies will rip you off (cheap parts, crappy builds, horrible tech service, misleading warranties, and customer service that don't speak English). This PC is so properly cooled that I could use it as an air conditioner if I wanted.
The price may seem very high, but trust me, you get what you pay for. If you want a top of the line system and want a professional custom build; there is absolutly no other business out there that can compete currently. I could type more, but I gotta get my game on.
Shout out to: Wilson, Dayne, John, Josh, Kyle and Stacey. Thank you!!!!
(PS - Wilson, you rock dude. Sorry to you and any other Puget employees who were Sonic fans ((my hometown stole em)). We are so proud and happy to have a pro sports team however. Hit me up if you ever come around the OKC area and I can score you some tickets! Seriously.)
PUGET FTW"
"This is a great company, as so many large computer manufactures are cutting back on quality it is nice to find a company that really cares about the products they produce.
The Puget sales staff is amazing! They will answer your questions promptly and honestly, not trying to up sale you.
Once your order is being processed they send you pictures of your computer being built, including thermal pictures of it's heat displacement. Also you will never see another computer company take as much care packing their computers for shipping. Also it is really nice to start a computer up straight out of the box with absolutely no bloat ware installed!
Thanks Puget!

"Puget built a great PC for me. The sales end was very intelligent and not pushy. Very fast communications. During the build, the feedback was unprecedented--realtime progress readout, every step of the way. They delivered ahead of schedule. Their documented testing on the system was extensive, including thermal scans of the interior, under stress. Interestingly, they don't charge an arm and a leg for this Cadillac service. My rough guess is that I might have paid 15% more than what I might have paid at a standard vendor. What I couldn't get at a standard vendor was the advanced and very quiet system. Each component is special, from the video card with the passive heatsink to the custom fans which they retrofit into the case. I have never seen wiring in a computer case which was this beautiful.
It is very hard to find anything they could have done better. If pressed, I would have to fess up that the Microsoft keyboard they offer with their systems sucks. Mushy keys. But that isn't a significant matter. I bought a vintage Dell keyboard which I knew to be excellent.
I'm not used to writing puff-pieces in reviews. I'm an electrical engineer and I'm pretty picky about the systems I use. Puget is truly something special."
"I began looking for a company to build me a new PC in April, after my Disability Decision became final. After looking at 3 different company's I settled on Puget Systems.
I started my process by going through their website and specing out a custom machine. I then put this request in for a quote and a tech review. I told Puget I was going to be using this machine for the next 6 years at least and needed something that I could rely on.
Surprisingly, within a day, a tech person got back to me and talked to me concerning my quote and all the different components I had chosen, why I had chosen them, and if they were the best for me. We actually re-designed my system based upon my needs and use and came up with a lower costing system!
The only problem I had with this order was the US Government dragging their feet on giving me my Disability Backpay. Once I did get that though, I ordered this machine and waited paitently. About a week into the process it was discovered that the GTX295 Cards wouldn't be my best choice, so we changed to the lower costing 285's. A few days later, I was emailed telling me that we were going back to the 295's because the 285's didn't have the necessary connections I needed; and they would keep the cost the same as if I kept the 285's!
I received my computer today, unpacked it, set it up, turned it on, and it works.
Let me be perfectly clear about this. I would, and I will, purchase from Puget Systems again, not only are they helpful, but they know what they are doing and are concerned with their customer needs. In my opinion, you'd be foolish going anywhere else then Puget Systems for your next Custom PC!
** Updated July 22, 2009 **
Two weeks ago I purchased a new Laptop from Puget Computer systems.
Again, using their easy to use Customization Web App, I was able to get the exact Laptop I wanted.
Puget Systems again was the best company I've ever worked with. The Laptop was estimated to be delivered on July 15th, but the Laptop arrived on July 8, a full week early. The sales people were easy to work with and quite knowledgable with everything.
I still say that Puget Systems is THE BEST place to get your next Desktop or Laptop!

"I needed to have a custom computer built to an exacting specification for the very specific purpose of live video production inside my organization. I was fearful about going with a local computer store and started searching the internet. I found Puget Custom Computers out on the west coast but the reviews were out of this world. They almost sounded too good to be true. They were anything but that. I have been astounded at how great the customer service has been. I love how well thought out the process has been from ordering to receiving the shipment, to setting it up. Puget truly runs a top-notch operation and I hope that my review will sell a at least a few more products for them. They deserve to stay in business a long time. Thanks, guys!"
"I received my custom computer about six weeks ago. The system with a solid state drive is the fastest I've ever owned. It seems solidly built and it is pretty quiet.
Unfortunately, it has suffered very frequent black screen failures with a video error message. The company sent me a new video card which didn't solve the issue. Re-seating cards, reloading software also failed.
I have now shipped the system back for them to repair. I had to go buy a used laptop to use. As much as i like the system, any builder is responsible for the parts installed and the performance of the system. The lack of in-home service options ( I volunteered to pay) is also a negative.
I went to Puget because I had been so frustrated with a bad system from Dell. I am looking for a new vendor for my 2500 person health services company but I can't go to Puget at this point.
For now, I'm less than happy with the system and the company. However, the company is trying to figure out the issue and will re-rate when the process is complete.

"Just as a high level summary - the attention to detail that went into the building and documenting my new PC was on another level. Simply amazing. Expensive computers? Not when you consider they only use the best components, they custom build each PC to your exact specs, and it includes their customer service and lifetime support.
From the photos emailed during building, to all the included spare parts, the extensive labeling, it is all world class. To top it off, you get a binder which includes all media/drivers and printed copies of my order, receipt, and all benchmarks so you can compare against future performance.
After being burned by the "Alien", I've found my new go-to company for high performance computing. Thanks guys!"
"Greetings!
I am now the proud owner of a Puget Systems, Serenity SPCR system, and I just wanted to provide a few notes for anyone that might be thinking about purchasing a system from Puget Systems, or is looking into the Serenity as a silent computer.
The Company: Puget Systems is a custom computer shop, with a product line that covers everything from laptops, servers, home theater, gaming rigs, and exotic power machines. Their attention to detail and customer service is well documented in the multitude of existing product reviews and testimonials already in place. I can honestly say that this praise is well deserved. I am extremely happy with my purchase, with the service provided by Jeff, my customer representative, and with the entire team that built my specific machine. While Puget's prices may be a little higher than a mass market vendor, you get what you pay for. In this case, attention to detail and technical skill that makes your machine less of a commodity and more of a system designed, built, and tested just for you.
Hardware Build: When the system arrived, I was stunned at how neat and clean the machine was. The packaging protected it through the hardships of UPS handling superbly. The system itself had been cleaned (no fingerprints) and clear static film had been put on all cosmetic surfaces to protect them. Internally, the monstrously huge CPU cooling radiator, graphics card, and all other 'projecting bits' were held firmly in place by an expansion foam pack. It required a little tug to remove, but was otherwise harmless.
Software Build: The software experience out of the box was somewhat traumatic, but not because of Puget Systems: I was used to XP, and moving to Windows 7 was a bit of a shock. I suspect the migration from Office 2003 to Office 2010 will be equally disorienting. Anyway... From Puget's perspective, the software install was flawless. The company prides themselves on providing a stable, clean installation out of the box, without any bloatware, trial packages, or other junk that clutters up the program bar and hard drive. This was very true - there was no unnecessary software loaded, everything was as pristine as though I had installed it myself. If anything, I had to load a few basics that I use in normal operation (Acrobat and Flash viewers, Windows games, etc.). But it is nice not having to clean up after an installer!
Testing, Packaging, and Documentation: The packaging contained every single part, screw, sticker, booklet, etc., from every component that the machine shipped with. I expect that box will sit in a closet for a while, but that is okay. It is still nice to have it.
Along with all of the bits, Puget also included a binder including a welcome letter, quality control log, all of the software including restoration and tools disks, model numbers and details for every component, thermal and benchmark results run before shipping. They even included business cards for the buyer to pass along to others if they like the machine. The one thing I miss in the binder was the thermal photographs from burn in - that would have been a nice, but minor, touch.
The packing was built to keep the machine safe in transit. I can understand by Puget Systems recommends that customers hang on to the boxes in case they need to ship the machine someday. The system was well packaged, arriving in perfect condition, thanks to their efforts.
Silence: I have been a proponent of silent computing for years now, and the Serenity is far quieter than my old Hush was. Even doing everything SPCR recommends you do NOT do (i.e., having the machine running on a desktop less than a meter away), the machine is nearly silent. The electronic noise from my monitor is louder than the computer is. So, if there is anyone like me out there, who might be hesitant about buying, don't be! The Serenity SPCR is as quiet as advertised!
Summary: I am extremely pleased with my Serenity SPCR machine by Puget Systems. I have been impressed with the company, their order process, and the people that take the time out to research each part. The hardware build is exceptional, the software installation is clean, and the order process is both helpful and informative, providing the exact status of your machine as it is being constructed. Thank you!
Puget Systems may not be for everyone. There will always be some buyers that are looking for the cheapest possible, off the shelf computer. Others will want to research their own components and build their computers themselves. That is fine. But for those that do not have the time or desire to do that kind of research, and who do not mind paying a little bit extra for quality and stability, Puget Systems is certainly the way to go. I strongly recommend them!

"I have not checked my computer yet, I am at work. It was shipped from Washinton last night via Feb Ex priority. I live about 3000 miles away in delaware and it arrive by 9:30 AM this morning.
My impressions of the company so far has been exceptional, the assistance when designing my system was second to none. Additional questions i had were always answered qucikly and accurately. I made changes to my warrantly from the standard 1 year to the full 3year coverage based on the customer service i recieved.
I had to wait 2 days before the processor arrived and the Pc still arrived within 7 days of order. During the build process an issue was found with the hydro cooler at the end on the phase 2 testing. The part was replaced and all of the tests were re-run and new benchmarks uploaded.
Overall I could not have asked for more. I will update my submission in a months time after using the PC for a while."
"Fantastic service in every way. The first person I spoke to helped me decide on what I really needed for my computer, and probably saved me a few hundred dollars. After that, it was wonderful to follow the "build" online. The computer arrived on time and in perfect shape. It booted up on the first time in about 60 seconds and is quiet, exceptionally fast, and I believe, just what I need. Kudos to Puget Systems!"
"Ditto all of the positive comments already posted about Puget Systems. The process was first class all of the way, the build quality seems great and the machine performs wonderfully.
Prior to ordering this system, I was all set to purchase a PC from Dell as they provide what is seemingly, the best bang-for-buck but I was reminded -- via personal experience with them -- that their 'support' is more terrible than ever. A quick look at some of the other bigger box providers support ratings online seems to indicate the same issue. Very long phone hold times and extreme difficulty in getting through to them.
When you factor in the build quality and likelihood that the Puget box will run trouble-free for longer than a Dell, the ability to actually get quick support when you do need it and the lifetime free labor, the parts markup that Puget does is trivial and you actually end up with a less 'expensive' system.
Completely satisfied so far!"
"I required a replacement computer. I was tired of large corporation service. I Googled "top 5 US Custom Computer Companies" and Puget was one of them. After reading that their minimum warranty is one year parts, with life time labor and support along with the customer service ratings they have, I was convinced. The selection of optional components they offer is extensive. During the order process William George was extremely helpful. Asking questions and offering suggestions. The system was literally plug and play. Components and software requested were up to date and no unasked for software. I emailed a couple questions and received full clear answers.
Whats not to like. I am very pleased.

"I'm an architect and was looking for a quality, high-end, home desktop to run CAD & graphic design/photographic software as well as BF3. I did a lot of research and narrowed my choices down to Puget and one other and Puget won out. I bought a Deluge Mini and am very happy with my system. It is a high-quality, fast, powerful and quiet machine that has lived up to my expectations and, so far, has worked perfectly. They are not inexpensive but, IMO, well worth it."
"Fantastic company! Lots of expert advice before ordering, with time taken to answer my questions. I really felt that they understood what I wanted in a new system, and they delivered.
The silent PC is truly amazing. I have to put my ear next to the fan to hear anything."
"I just received my new Puget Systems computer and I couldn't be happier, both with the machine (which operated flawlessly out of the box and was astoundingly well packaged and organized) and the assistance provided by everyone I dealt with at Puget Systems (especially William George, my sales rep). I'd never ordered a computer online before and was frankly a little nervous about the whole process. But the experience I've had with Puget so far honestly couldn't be better. I must have changed my mind and sent them over a dozen emails asking all kinds of stupid questions before and after the sale, and every question I had was patiently and knowledgably answered. Given the support I've received so far, I have every reason to expect I will be equally well-treated in the event I have any problems or questions with the machine later. I spent more money than I would have if I'd gone with some other vendors or tried to build it myself, but so far the experence has more than made up for the difference in cost. There may be some other folks out there that do custom gaming computers as well as Puget, but you'd be hard pressed to find anybody who combines such attention to detail and quality with top-notch and respectful service. Five stars, all the way!"
