"FANTASTIC COMPANY!!!
I have purchased 4 very, very, very high-end machines from Puget. One developed a motherboard problem within a few days, and Puget did not just fix it, they built me an entirely new machine! Couldn't ask for better customer support. "
"I just ordered a new computer for my son for Xmas. It just arrived and looks awesome. I can't wait to use it with him."
"I've had 7 desktop computers over the years, all from a variety of merchants. My last two were custom built by a discount merchant. These worked well, but always left something to be desired (USB ports that were not connected, hard drive lights that did not work, etc.) Having read the positive reviews on this website, I decided to purchase my latest from Puget. I estimate that it probably cost $300 to $400 above what I might have been charged by the discount merchant I used previously, but I have no regrets whatsoever. The advice they gave me prior to purchase was excellent. The build was superb - far better than anything I could have done - and everything worked out of the box. Every component was checked during the build and documented online. The shipping packaging was excellent as was the accompanying documentation which was organized in a binder. I had a follow-up question about a video driver which was promptly answered. I'm very impressed by the level of customer service provided by Puget along with the quality of their assembly. It's well worth the premium they charge."
"I've now had my computer from Puget for over a month and a half, and have been extremely pleased with the computer and with the service. In buying my computer I looked at smaller custom builders in part because I've been pretty dissatisfied with the support I've gotten from bigger computer companies on previous purchases, and also because I wanted to get a silent system. On my old system I had a 2tb hdd and a tv tuner card that I wanted to repurpose in the new system to avoid waste and to save money. William George from Puget was extremely responsive and helped to set up my new computer to accommodate the old hardware; they pre-wired the computer so that installing the second hard drive was really easy (and kept the cabling much neater than if I'd been left to my own devices), and also downloaded the driver files for my old tv tuner card and left them on my desktop for easy installation. Even after the system shipped, William has been terrifically available to walk me through the additional setup that I wanted to do, and also to answer some random technical questions I had (like, about the GPU power draws under different monitor configurations). We've probably exchanged at least twenty e-mails now, and William has always been thoughtful and prompt in his replies--there's just no comparison between this kind of service and what you get from a big-name company.
I've got a Serenity SPCR edition with a SSD as the primary drive, and the computer is awesome: blazing fast, and it's essentially inaudible unless you press your ear against the case. Looking inside to install my hard drive and tuner card, I was impressed with how much care has gone into the cabling and the internal setup--I think it's a good sign when they're as thoughtful about the things you don't see everyday as they are about what you do see. While I was prepared to pay a small premium for the customer service, silent operation and top-shelf components, I've probably paid about the same as I would have for a similarly configured top-line Dell or HP, just because Puget was so helpful in helping me to repurpose hardware from the old machine. I would definitely buy another computer from these guys... although I'm expecting this computer to last me for years and years, so I won't have the chance for a while."
"When my old PC started BSODing every other week I knew it was time to find a new machine. I came across Puget Systems when on a whim I did a Google search for "quiet gaming PC." I wasn't really expecting any hits... I mean, how quiet could a PC powerful enough to do a decent amount of gaming really be? I browsed around their website and was impressed by the product descriptions and customer reviews... I used their real-time chat box to IM with a real live human to talk about what I wanted from my machine and get his recommendations. He even talked me out of some more expensive components that wouldn't have made a material difference in my configuration - how often does that happen?!?!?!
After having now had my custom-built Serenity Pro machine for a few weeks I can honestly say that Puget Systems has delivered on their promise of a well-built, powerful, near-silent machine.
My config: i5 2500K processor, NVIDIA GTX 570 graphics, 120GB SSD for OS/apps and 1TB HDD for data. This system is blazing fast, can handle games like Skyrim and Crysis on max settings with hardly an audible peep, and looks great to boot. The most impressive part is the care taken in assembling the system: the interior is well organized, clean, and beautiful to look at. No stray wires or crooked parts... it's lovingly crafted with care.
Is it a little bit pricy? Sure, but given the hand-picked components, the quality of assembly, the careful packing, and speedy shipping it's well worth it. I would definitely buy another system from Puget Systems and think you should consider them for your next PC. You won't regret it!!!"
" I like buying my computers from Puget. This is my third one. I like William George. He's the rep who answers the phone to take your order. He's super-qualified. Click on the Resources tab at the Puget homepage and you'll find his article on configuring gaming PCs. Elsewhere he writes on solid state drives. Google his name with Core i5 in the query and his 2010 article on the Intel line of iCore processors comes up. This is the guy Puget has answering the phones. That says a lot about the company. If you're self-directed like I am, you'll enjoy exploring the Puget website. It's all true what you see on the video. This is really a company that sacrifices a little off its bottom line to provide you with a first-rate commitment to building what you ask for. To Josh, Kyle, William, and Stacey -- the people primarily responsible for building my three speedy Puget PCs -- you got a good thing going at Auburn. You could teach the competition a few things on how to build a great computer.

"The staff with whom I communicated at Puget are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I give particular accolades to William George, who assisted me with my custom build through every step. The PC build is pristine and it runs perfectly, which I'm sure is a result of their testing process. Superb product, efficiency, and most importantly, service."
"Order # 89834.
I ordered a PC for my nephew (and I have one these fine people made a few years ago). Here's an email I received from him.
"Hi Uncle Walter, did you send Puget Systems a testimonial about my PC? Tell them I really enjoy it, it's fast, I love the graphics, it's great and fast! Tell them thank you very much for putting it together.
If you haven't already, send them one before you play today. You can even tell them that you played Champs Online on my new PC, the graphics are absolutely beautiful and amazing. We both agree. That's up to you, not sure how much you want to say. They get AAA+ for job well done. Thanks."
I'll add that the people at Puget are very professional, and since I opened and inspected the PCs they made, they are very careful and neat too with the wiring. I highly recommend them.
Not only did their system cost less than Dell Alienware, it was more powerful and the components had more upgradability.
I highly recommend them."
"I was in the market for a new tower computer, and after being frustrated and disappointed with the products and lack of service from the well known retail and custom build companies I was fortunate to stumble upon Puget Custom Computers.
Even though Puget Custom Computers is located in my area, I had not heard of them before. Well, that's fixed now.
My experience started with a web site that was well organized and which offered me the information I cared about and needed. My experience was augmented when moments after I had saved a configuration I was contacted by a representative. Using the web site and via e-mail with the rep, we found the right custom computer for my needs.
The components available and used are top notch.
The visibility to the build and QA process via the web site is an extraordinary touch!
My PC is a customized Serenity, and it is impossible to hear this powerful computer.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a PC there really is no better place to find and get what you need than Puget Custom Computers.
Without a doubt this was the best customer experience of 2011 for me, maybe the best in the last decade."
"After owning many Dell, Hp and various other computers I decided that the lack of customer care and service by all of the cookie cutter computer manufacturers was not for me anymore. I spent about a week doing internet searches for Custom Computer Manufacturers. I accidentally came accross Puget Systems and spent another week researching Puget. I was amazed at all of the rave reviews. It seemed to good to be true. I decided to call and speak to the sales team. I was quite pleased with the sales experience. The staff was exceptional. The build is real quality and tech support is wonderful as well. Overjoyed with the company all around."
"I was extremely impressed by the attention and customer service I received. I bought local this time because my previous experiences with a giant like Dell were less than optimal. Puget Custom Computers was totally different. And my system, which they created for me, is absolutely hot... blazing by my previous standards. I couldn't be happier!"
"I just purchased a custom build computer from Puget Custom Computers. This is the best built computer I have ever seen. The wireing is cut so it is neat, not hanging or in the way of anything, it is perfect. Plenty of power, quiet operation, and just a beautiufl build. If anyone is looking to purchase a new computer you should really give these guys a look. The quality of parts and craftsmanship is perfect. I will be buying another custom computer from Puget soon for my wife, when she saw mine she said I have to have one. I really can't put into words how happy I am with my custom build computer from Puget."
"My old Pentium 4 XP system died and when shopping for a new system I ran across references to Puget Custom Computers. While I have built several systems in the past I did not have the time to do it this time and they had many positive comments on several ratings boards, so I decided to explore having them build a system for me.
My first step was to look over their prices to see how they compare to other custom assemblers. They are a little on the high side, but well "in the ball park".
I used their website to select the parts I wanted. Each part is called out by name and vendor part number - something that the other on-line vendors did not do. This allowed me to check the reviews on the individual components to assure they were of good quality and would do what I wanted. Then I submitted my system for a "professional review" on a Friday afternoon to see if they would try to "up sell" me.
At about 9:30 that night, their tech emailed me and pointed out some changes I could make to my system design that would not only make it perform better, but save me money! (I did turn around and use that "saved" money to increase the size of the SSD. After locking down the system specifics I pulled the trigger and smoked my credit card.
Puget has a unique tracking process where you can see where your build is during each step of the process from ordering to shipping. With this I was able to see that they had to order two components, saw when they arrived, and knew when to expect the system to be shipped. You can also see both photographs of your system, its benchmarks, and a thermal image both at average load and under stress during final testing and burn in. All of this data also comes to you in a binder that contains the back up disks and any manufacturer's manuals for the components.
I purchased an Intel i7 in an Asus motherboard with 8GB of memory, an Asus GT430 video card, 80 GB SSD, 1.5TB HD and a 1TB USD HD for backup with Windows 7 -64bit Home Premium. They set up the system up for you so it is truly "turn key".
After it is shipped you can watch the progress as Fed Ex or UPS push it through their system (helps so you can be home when it arrives and doesn't sit on the porch!)
On initial start up I was shocked to not hear noisy fans like I had on my home built system. This one is stone quiet - I have to check the power light to be sure it is on.
I have had the system for about a month now and could not be happier. It is all that I expected and more. While the total cost is a little higher than I would have paid to assemble a system myself, I have a fully checked out, ready to go, NO RMA's to deal with on bad parts system that is better than I would have built myself. The wiring is very professional - a good measure of the care that went into building it.
You cannot go wrong with having Puget build a computer for you.
Excellent customer service, industry standard parts, superior build techniques, result in a fantastic buying experience.
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten!

"Excellent!! Good help on configuring computer, very comfortable with the company. They care about the customer.
Also, received the computer a day earlier than expected (THAT is thanks to FedEx - he delivered a day early because it was there and he was just hoping we'd be home to sign for it.)
Their help is exceptional - feel I can ask them anything."
"I received my custom computer from Puget Systems almost three weeks ago and I am very pleased. Sure, I could have bought a cheaper system elsewhere, but taking into consideration the build quality, rigorous testing, and superb customer service I feel that I got excellent value for the money I spent. As far as I'm concerned you can't put a price on the meticulous attention to detail that goes into the design & building of a Puget system.
Nor can you put a price on the frustration & time wasted dealing with the inept, off-shore support of other manufacturers. My time and patience are too valuable for me to ever go there again.
It's refreshing to find a company that puts such great care into the building & support of their products.
I wish I could give Puget Systems more than 5 stars.
Update 4/19/13 - I've had my Puget system for a year and half and it has performed flawlessly during that time. Absolutely no regrets. This PC is without a doubt one of the best purchases I have ever made."
