"One of the easiest on-line ordering experiences of my life. I "built" my computer on a Thursday afternoon and took PS up on their offer to have my design reviewed by a member of their team. I submitted a "request to review", and received a response on Friday with several helpful recommendations including a suggestion that ultimately saved me $75. I thought about it over the weekend, and placed my order on Monday afternoon. One week later my custom built computer arrived, as promised.
However, I had a question during setup of my computer and called the Support line only to discover that Support was available only from 9AM - 5PM (Mon - Fri). I had to take a few hours off work the next day to get the answers to my questions anbd I have to say, this was a very disappointing moment in my otherwise excellent experience dealing with PS. I have been told that they are adjusting their hours of support to include later hours in the evening as well as weekend coverage.
All this being said, my computer is everything I had hoped it would be and I am a very satisfied and happy camper. "

"Excellent customer service – Wilson was very knowledgeable of the product line. He was very helpful in pointing me toward components to build a quiet system. He responded to emails promptly and in detail (and one response was during a weekend).

Prompt build & delivery – Once the order was submitted, it took very little time for the system to be built and shipped quickly.

The Computer – My concern was getting a computer that was quiet. And with the help of Wilson, I got one. I couldn't believe how quiet it was when I plugged it in. Looking inside the case, I realized how much time and effort they took in laying the cables and wires. The wiring is neat, tidy and routed with air flow in mind.

This was my second computer from this company. The first purchase was four years ago and I experienced the same service and quality back then.

I reviewed other custom builders. Many offered lesser components or offered limited customization. There's something unique at the Puget System web site.

In the "Computer Information Booklet" they shipped with my computer, I was confused about whether or not one of my components had been tested, and Jon Bach (the President himself) got in touch with me to settle my worries. (Long story short: Minor clerical error caused the component description to not show up in a couple of text-fields. All correct benchmark data was present.)

When you experience the one-on-one interaction with your customer rep (who cares about your system as much as you do), and receive the Presidential treatment, you'll know, like I do, that this company is dead serious about not just customer satisfaction, but customer *contentment* (think zen).

"So far, the computer has acted fantastically and there has only been a very minimum amount confusion (not even problems). Everything works great, probably because it was set up properly by the staff. Unlike computers you buy at Best Buy there is no spam on the computer when you receive it. The CPU works great and hasn't bogged down once. My one qualm with the system is the battery life can be a little short lived. Other than that I recommend and have recommended this computer company.

After some investigation, I found the Puget Custom Computers website. I was immediately impressed with the reviews on the web about systems from there as well as the extremely detailed and useful information on computer parts and system building on their website. I also was impressed with the information and replies from Puget to users in their web forum.

Based on this I initially thought of going with a water cooled system, however William from Puget showed me a comparable part and cheaper air cooled quad system which he said would be quieter.

It was also very easy during the build process to upgrade my video card. I was very impressed to watch on my account in their website the actual progress for the build of my new pc. Very Cool :)

Finally the day arrived, the pc arrived double boxed and in perfect condition to boot up and use.

Setting it up, the first thing I noticed other than the extremely useful info they had in the packing boxes and custom setup book for my pc, was that the pc was silent enough that other than looking over to see the lights flashing, I could not tell it was on.

I would not have expected (prior to reading their website and working with them) that you could get a quad core intel chip, 3 hard drives, and a nvidia 9800 gtx video card and sitting next to the pc, you can not hear the fans and cooling they used :) Even having used it for a few weeks now I am still amazed every time even during game play that it is running silently and at cool temps for the components.

Needless to say I am EXTREMELY pleased. Not only do I have a super fast quad core pc with tons of storage for games and 3d modeling, but it is super quiet and set up on arrival exactly like (or better than) if I had built it myself. They partitioned the hard drive, installed XP pro for me, even though most other vendors are pushing vista.

Even before ordering my new pc I could not stop talking about their website and how useful it was with friends. Now that I have the new pc...I can not say enough that these folks will not only have my new pc business in the future but I plan to keep recommending them to everyone I know or hear about who is looking for a new pc.
