"I recently ordered a new pc mainly for photo editing. Puget lists a base system just for this purpose in the desktop section, so customing it is very easy if you know basically what components and features you want. This is probably the most professional company I've ever dealt with. Communication and updates, even photos as the pc was built.
I had numerous questions, and each was answered promptly, and thoroughly by email. The techs will help you make choices without any high pressure sales tactics. A far cry from the big box companies, that can't stay on the subject of important components for trying to sell you extended warranties, and bs you don't need.
I ordered on a Monday received it on Friday of the same week. Packing was as good as it gets, all manuals discs, and extras are in a seperate box.
I could have purchased a cheaper pc, loaded with bloatware, and spent the first evening removing it all. Puget systems are a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. The inside of this system is a work of art, no shortcuts on these builds.
In conclusion the system works better than expected, set up perfectly, nothing else to do really but install you own programs. I'm very pleased with my system and it works perfectly, beyond my expectations. I would order again without a second thought. "

Bought via eBay as they sell odd items there. Items were as listed, but one or two of the PSUs arrived with loose insulator sheets inside - you could hear them rattling around. Hard to believe that none of the sheets were loose prior to their being shipped to me. About 25% of this series of PSU (Antec SU-380/EA-380 have arrived here with one or more insulator sheets rattling around inside, so I'm used to fixing them, but if the problem was preexisting, I should have been notified. I sent them an eBay message regarding this known issue bit never heard back, which is why I'm rating Cust.Serv. Poor. Price was so low, I didn't fret it too much. Other than than, all went well. .bh. I was able to go on the forums and speak with representatives who suggested options including some things that were more personalized and not available on the website. I ordered a laptop, and decided to pick it up at the shop. The laptop and everything with it was very well packed and seemed secure, but its nice to have the option to avoid shipping altogether.

The laptop works great, and looks quite nice. It came w/ a camera and a fingerprint reader. Both sort of silly things that are fun to play with but not really useful for me. I nevertheless entered all ten of my fingers just in case of unexpected digit loss :) Everything on the computer works wonderfully, and I have had no problems. It was nice to have the option to go with XP, although it did cost more.

The laptop I ordered, the D500i, does get quite warm on the left center area of the keyboard- but then its supposed to be desktop performance in a portable package, so this is understandable. Still, I wouldn't put it on top of anything cloth or paper."

Their website gave a lot more information on the various components used to build my desktop computer--including pro's and con's, reviews of the components, etc. After I came up with an initial configuration, I e-mailed them with a lot of questions. They promptly reviewed the spec's and e-mailed me back within 24 hours with their comments. The pc was quickly assembled and reached me 8 days after placing the order.
