"Purchasing experience was great. I selected a custom computer for video editing and submitted it for Thier comments/recomendations. They suggested some recommendations that improved the computer configuration and actually reduced the cost of the computer. The computer was shipped in a timely fashion. I had some difficulty with one of the hard drives. Tech support talked me through reseating the hard drive connectors and resolved the problem. They did put the wrong amount of RAM in the computer (2 Gb vs 4 GB). They shipped me the 4 GB RAM, and I shipped the 2 GB back to them at their expense. The computer is working fine and does a great job for the reasons I purchased it."

Coming from someone who works in the customer service industry for a living, these folks are great. "Puget Custom Computers should hold workshops to teach other companies about cutomer service, and providing quality products. People are willing to pay more, the call of "HURRY NOW WHILE STOCKS LAST" does not appeal to me.

I appreciated Wilson Chau's patience in dealing with my questions, and guiding me through the process, never hovering over me to sell something I didn't need. In fact at one point, he told me to delete a component from my configuration, simply because it would have been useless to me.

I received updates dring the build, and in one I was told that a component was not readily available. They apologized profusely even though they were upgrading me to the next model. It took a few days for me to realize that the basic model didn't have the power I wanted. When I ordered a larger CPU, there was no problem making the change at all, they advised that it would add time to expected date of arrival.

Puget had never shipped to Bermuda before, and I asked if it could be arranged. The answer was we'll look into it, they looked, they arranged, and 10 days after dispatch from Washington State I had my laptop in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

It is beatuiful machine, surpassing all my expectations. I took it to work to show off to the IT Guys and they were jealous. Family and friends have certainly been hearing about this wonderful computer company, with knowledgeable, courteous staff, who respond promplty, with answers that lay people understand."

"Order my new system on January 3rd, it was built and shipped by the next day, and I received the shipment a day early, on January 8th, from FedEx (I had paid for 1-3 day shipping on the order). RMA for defective video card on 1/2/08 and gave them a CC# for overnight delivery for $18.00 additional. Card did not ship until today, 1/4/08. $18.00 was refunded without a problem, but still will have no replacement video card until next week. If not capable of overnight shipment, do not tell customers that it is available."

"A great experience with Puget from the start to the end. I ordered a mid-to-high range gaming PC and exchanged several emails with my sales rep. All communications were prompt and most important, my rep had several opportunities to "up sale" me but did not - I felt like he truly did his best to help me get the best PC for the money I was spending.

The build process was delayed several days due to tight availability of my 8800GT video cards and I was keep informed of its order status on my build status page. Once the cards came in, the build itself was very quick. The build status is great and you can see what has been done and what is still pending.

While waiting for the cards, I made several changes, including a processor change, which was handled quickly and with no issues. My rep followed up with the production folks to make sure the changes were incorporated.

A great touch was once the build was done, they emailed me photos of the completed computer so I could drool while the unit was shipping.

The computer arrived on time, well packaged, and booted right up. There was a box with ALL cables and "extras" for each component installed in my PC. There was also a notebook with detailed info about the PC along with part manufacturers used, warranty info for each part, and baseline performance and temperatures. The system is everything I thought it would be and I am thrilled with it.

This was my first buy of a "custom" computer and of course the first time I used Puget. I highly recommend Puget Custom Computers and will use them in the future for my other PC needs. "

I looked at the big boys like Dell and Alienware (now owned by Dell) but after hearing nightmare stories about Alienware (the last one from a movie set last week where a guy had one of their laptops and was miserable; I decided to go with Puget. I'll buy another one from them and probably a laptop too. They answer the phone in real time, are helpful, speaka da English and know their stuff.
