Horrible!!! I lost $300

"I bought a Jcrew gift card and saved it for this summer. When I tried to use it, "no value". Raise support said they can't do anything because its past 100 days. Total ripe off this is the second raise card I've had trouble with(I bought 3 all at the same time. "

Arby's card had no balance!

"I purchased an Arby's card a couple weeks ago. I went to get a meal there and found it had no balance. So, with having no lunch, I came home and called raise.com. They checked into it, told me I would get a refund--problem solved. I talked with a very nice agent, Grant, who was very professional and friendly. Love raise.com! "

Blame for order problems fall on sellers, not Raise

"I've purchased close to $1,000 worth of gift cards from Raise, and only recently did I have an issue. I purchased a card on May 7 for the amount of $150. I used close to $94 the same day. I attempted to place an online order a couple days ago and the balance one the card showed $0.59. Well, two days later, the seller cleaned out the remaining balance. I first contacted the store for more information, and yep, the seller made an order on May 9. I contacted Raise and they were very apologetic and initiated a refund.

People need to understand that problems that arise aren't caused by Raise, but by fraudulent sellers...whether it be the seller using the card after it's sold, buying the card with a stolen credit card and then listing it for sale, providing an invalid pin, or selling cards with no balance to start with. I've also read the terms of service, and it mentioned that the seller is responsible for mailing the cards out, but I'm not sure if that means mailing the card to the buyer or to Raise to be Shipped after sale. IMO, that falls on the seller.

I've also seen people say they've contacted Raise on day 101/102 and was denied a refund. I'm sorry, but the policy states 100 days, so you really can't get mad at them for not honoring a refund past that time frame. But I do hope Raise sticks it to scamming sellers to recoup losses caused by those sellers.

Customer Service second to none

"Every now and then I get a bogus card when I order through Raise. Not Raise's fault, just sellers trying to scam people as usual. But when this happens, Raise gets your money back to you super fast and super easy. They are a pleasure to do business with. Super nice people with a super nice service. I buy majority of my discount gift cards through Raise and will continue too."

Buyer Beware with Raise!

"I purchased several hundred dollars in gift cards from Raise at the end of 2015 and have lost almost $300 because two of them were used. Because I purchased so much, I didn't use them all within the first 100 days, so all Raise was willing to do was give me a $10 credit on my next purchase. Obviously, there will be no next purchase for me. I spoke with two customer service reps - both of whom sounded like robots reading off a script. I will never shop with them again."

"Ordered a Lowes merchandise card last week from Raise. I received it in less than a week and was anxious to get to Lowes to be sure it was everything it claimed to be - $380 is a lot of money to lose.
Happy to report the card was the value $440 I was told and worked well to purchase a much needed washing machine.

"Thank you Caleigh.

Caleigh was by-far the most professional customer service rep that I worked with at Raise. I did call a number of times before on previous issues but Caleigh came across as most caring, most knowledgeable and most responsible - all which matter much.

In this situation I basically didn't receive the Sonic gift card despite that it said it was shipped. I explained to Caleigh that my preference was to still get that card so she contacted the seller and gave it 48 hours in which unless shipped she would automatically process a refund for me. Unfortunately in 48 hours it was still not shipped and so she remembered and indeed automatically and immediately processed the refund. I do appreciate much.

Customer service means a lot to me and finding a responsible, knowledgeable and caring person on the other side is more than appreciated so I would like to appreciate Caleigh for her care and efforts.

Best gift card reseller!!

"Raise was very quick to respond to multiple issues I came across!! I've used other companies and they ignored all of my attempt at commutation and only responded once I got my credit card company involved; however, raise is quite the opposite and I love them!! I was issued a refund very quickly for a card that was closed. The waiting times on the phones were super fast and the people were friendly. I highly recommend this as the best company for buying and selling gift cards! Great deals and wonderful customer service!!! "
