They don't tell you what happen to your account

"My account was suspended due to an error, they detected my IP address was from Canada, I live in Texas! They detected that when I was purchasing an order, they canceled my order only saying due to an issue the order was canceled (I figured someone might have just beat me by a second with that offer). Nowhere was I notified that my account was suspended, I was ABLE to login to the website and browse and change setting in my account. I was UNABLE to login through my mobile app, but it was due to an connectivity issue, not because my account was suspended, it so happen right when they upgraded the app, so I figure it was an issue with the app since I can login with my phone browser.
UNTIL I try to make a order with a good deal and that when I realized it was suspended! I was extremely upset that I wasn't notified, and because it was after hour, I have to let the deal slide. It was a double %off than what it usually is, who want to let such good deal slide!

Anyway, HORRIBLE on their side for not keeping the client inform as to what happened to their account, at least show somewhere that the account was suspended when they login! If I would've known it was suspended, I would have have it resolve on that day!

The agent I spoke with was calm and help me unlocked my account, but there's nothing he can do with that stupid policy for not letting the client know their account was being suspended. Neither do they have anyway to take advise or complain directly beside making a review on other website. This is plain stupid for such big company.

"Had a couple gift cards (2 cards totaling 900) that were bad. Raise stood behind their 100 day promise and made it right. Also called today for some info on a big purchase. Gail was very helpful in answering all my questions. "

Save me a heart attack

"I almost had a heart attack while in the store Uniqlo to use the $200 gift card purchased from Raise and the casher to me there is no money inside. I called Raise support waited 30 or so minutes while finally Levi pickup my call and assure me I will not loose my money and he will process the refund promptly. This is a competitive market, to "raise" above customer service is very important."

This company needs to be investigated, a total scam

"This company is fraud and the employees are incompetent, especially the call center supervisors. They say if the gift card is not received, the 100 day guarantee applies and they would refund the amount. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS, IT IS A COMPLETE LIE, instead what they will say is quote "the gift card was scanned and redeemed in your area so no refund will be made and there is nothing we can do" according to a supervisor name COOPER. I had 3 gift cards that did not arrive. One card they refunded with no problem other than it took about a week to process. Second card they rejected the refund because Lena from support team said it was "scanned and redeemed in your area so no refund will be made" so she is saying that I used it????? Third card she completely ignored, did not mention anything about it. I sent at least 4 emails to Lena in support team with very detailed information, told her to respond and not ignore, finally they sent me an email. I called and spoke with supervisor RYAN, he kept saying it was not his call to make the decision about refunding that it was the support team decision, he can only relay the message.....wait a minute, what happened to the 100 day guarantee?????????? He doesn't know anything about that? Not sure if he was a person in charge based on his answers....ok, my purchase date was 1/24/16....after raising my voice to the call center and sending numerous emails, I finally got my two refunds on 3/16/16. FINALLY I CAN MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE AND NOT DEAL WITH A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. Again, NEVER would I deal with a fraudulent company again....then, on 4/11/16 the reverse one of my refunds and charged it on my credit again and I received an email from Lena that based on their research of all their past refunds, they felt that my one of my refund was invalid and so they would need to charge again for a gift card that I NEVER received. Are they kidding, seriously???????? After being on the phone for 30 minutes (wait time plus speaking to a CSR Iman), a so called supervisor name COOPER finally got on the line. He says he stands by their decision because "the card was scanned and redeemed in my area" so he is basically accusing me of RECEIVING THE CARD, REDEEMING IT and that I am lying about the whole thing. Is this really a legitimate company or is this a company that is running in someone's garage? I told COOPER they need to drop the current charge for a gift card that I have not received in a very aggravated voice and he said "we cannot do any business with you if you come out like this" OK....does he actually think I want to do business them after all this nonsense. Again I am questioning if he is indeed a person in charge. He was no help at all, he was extremely defensive and did not know how to handle this situation. I told him this fraudulent act will be reported and I will give negative but honest reviews and his response was "Thank you for that". If they have to rip me off for an amount of 22.16 and they don't care about being reported to BBB and get horrible reviews from me and many others, I question how long this company will survive. I learned my lesson and I am glad that I was not ripped off a huge amount like other people but a company like this should not get away with ripping people off. Always research a business before using a business. From now on, I am going to check BBB and review all the customer complaints before I give my money to a company. I have learned a valuable lesson thanks to Raise.com."

Levi - Professional and Efficient!

"It's always disappointing to go to a restaurant and find out that the gift card you purchased is not going to work. Levi was both professional and efficient in getting me a refund for the amount I wasn't able to use. I hope I don't have this problem often but if I do I hope I get Levi again because he has great customer service skills and was pleasant to speak with."

"Be careful buying from Raise. There are gotchas when you try to use the cards they sell and they will be no help at all. If there is a problem, that you could not anticipate, they will just say it is your problem. Their customer service reps can be snide and sarcastic. Discounts are not good enough to justify. "

Raise stole my money

"I'm out of $700. I bought 2 gift cards from Raise.com and they were at $0 balance. Called so many times and customer service was useless, couldn't solve anything. It's been 3 months and I'm not getting my money back from them. I'm calling a lawyer, anybody else with me? "

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT

"I purchased several cards, One of which was a T.G.I. FRIDAYS, we did not use this card till after the 100 day guarantee had passed, only to find that this card had been "FROZEN" as it had been purchased at one time by persons unknown using a fraudulent payment source. Fine I called FRIDAYS, and was advised that all they needed to honor the card was proof that I had purchased same. OK, I call RAISE, understandably they needed to verify that it was me, DOB, SS#, ADDRESS, ACCOUNT INFO, E-Mail ADDRESS, all verified that it was really me. OK, All I need is for you to send me a verification via E-Maill that I purchased that particular FRIDAYS card. I need the e-mail to have that FRIDAYS card # (19 digits) within the body of the text. We can not do that, because the E-Mail might fall into the wrong hands was their explanation. Understand Raise verified that they were talking to me, I had the fraudulent FRIDAYS card in my hand, which I had purchased from them, with MY VALID credit card. and they refused to help me for security concerns.

After two days of calling, A failure of RAISE to return a call. Raise made an "Exception" to their policy and credited our account for 39.00 dollars. It really is not worth the time and effort to correct what should have been a simple fix.

Horrible experience !!!

"I have purchased gift cards worth $3400 to purchase appliances for my new home. I didn't even get half of them in 14 business days which they have mentioned on their website. Tracking information that they provide on the website is completely inaccurate. Tracking information from raise.com shows that some of the cards have been scanned at some USPS location but I got them already. We can't track the cards with USPS website and they themselves don't know where exactly the cards are. Whenever I chat with customer care, they simply point me to the tracking information on the website which is complete nonsense and ask me to wait for 30 days. This is the worst online shopping experience. As of today its already 18 business days and I haven't got all of my gift cards. I have sent emails to support team to investigate what happened to the remaining gift cards which I suppose to get in 14 business days but no response from them. I wonder why they are charging money from the sellers if it is like craigslist."

ripped off by buying a egift card from raise

"My experience was just as others have stated. I bought a very expensive e gift card to an expensive restaurant, thank god I decided to check the balance on it before I took my son for his birthday dinner!! The seller had used up the whole balance. It was the weekend so I bought another from Raise thinking that they would do the honorable thing and refund me for the first card I bought. No, I was beyond their 90 day guarantee and they continued to over about two months, tell me my case was in review. For my $200 loss I was offered $,13 in store credit. They don't deserve one star. They are enabling crooks, look it up online. I hope people stop supporting them and they go out of business so no one else gets ripped off as I did."

Service with Style

"I joined Raise almost a year ago. I have only used it to purchase gift cards, and I sure have bought a lot of them. I mainly stick with my go to's, Jamba Juice and Regal Cinema gift cards. But I have gotten tons more. The discounts do vary, so you may get up to 30% off or less on some of the nice ones. Out of all the other gift card sites, this is the most user friendly, and the app attached is clean to.

Out of the 40 or 50 cards I have purchased, one didn't go through, which was refunded when I called their customer service. 5 stars for reaching an actual human with their customer support.
