"I was several people back in line when I called Raise Customer Support- I love that they give you the option to enter your call-back number and they'll call you back when it's your turn. So convenient! So I got called back within minutes- and the agent was able to understand, confirm and resolve my issue within minutes. A very quick and pleasant Customer Service experience."
"I thought since it's a valid company that I could trust the products sold on their website and beware many of their e-gift cards are invalid and could be used by someone else before you need to use it. I bought my $50 home depot gift card only to find out that it had $0 on it and Raise does not do anything about it if it's after 100 days of purchase even though the only thing that says on the card is that the card "Does not expire". We gifted the card to a family member and who knew who had to gift the fine prints as well to let them know that even though the gift card does not expire, they still lose the money after 100 days. We got no help at all when we called Raise. They basically said we just had to take our lose. So lesson learned...never again are we buying from them and we'll make sure all our friends know about it too."
"The Guarantee with this company has gone downhill. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars with them mostly on Lowe's gift cards. They used to be good about refunds, but not anymore. Now I have a bad card for $172.68 and ive been jumping through hoops emailing, calling, mailing the card back and still no refund. Its been well over a month of giving me a hard time. Their cards seem like a good deal, yes, but just wait until you get a bad card with these guys! You can say goodbye to any savings you thought you were gonna get and will probably eat a loss instead for their benefit"
"Autumn, at customer service was quick to answer, and very quick to rectify the problem. She was very personable and seemed genuinely appologitic about my issue. Great customer service. Seems very strange that I have had to get a refund twice in a week for two Dennys cards that zero balances!!! Thank goodness for their guarantee."
"I called after 6:30pm and was pleasantly surprised that your customer service was still open. Your service rep, Wren, was soooo helpful and patiently waited for me to change my password and execute my purchase. It took awhile but she did not rush me and was very pleasant throughout the whole ordering process. I got my voucher to print within 2 mins of placing my order. Speed and great service! What else could you ask for!"
"I was very lucky to have my issue resolved by Patience. Like her name, she took her time to listen to my issue, provided me the answer, and stayed on the phone until my issue was reoloved.
Thank you very much, PT."
"I wanted to buy my boyfriend some expensive jeans from Buckle. Raise had the best deal so I went for it -- hoping it wasn't too good to be true. It wasn't! I got the gift card email within 30 minutes I would guess and had ordered the jeans. I keep looking at other gift card sellers online and some of them do seem to be fraudulent so I feel lucky for choosing this one my first try. "
"I buy many gift cards (and e-gift cards), and have done so with various companies like Raise. However, when it comes to e-gift cards from Raise, there are often problems, such as the e-gift card getting dishonored at the merchant's place of business. Raise seems to sell more of its gift cards as e-gift cards than most (probably because the fraudsters out there who sell their cards to these companies know that Raise has poor risk management controls). This has happened time and time again. And although they have credited me back the money (I give them credit for this), it's not without a lot of hoops to jump through. In fact, Raise once lost my request for reimbursement - blaming their system. Ughhh. Moreover, they seldom offer you anything for the inconvenience or embarrassment. The worst experience was when I bought 3 Ruby Tuesday e-cards and they were all declined (very embarrassing). The last episode happened this (middle of March, 2016) weekend with Olive Garden. Here's what happened: I had a balance of $8 or something (surprisingly, it had previously been honored, but I didn't use the entire balance). I bought this, before I learned that Raise was so bad, and its customer service so poor. So, by now (March of 2016), I go fully expecting the merchant to decline the e-card, and sure enough they did. I'm done completely with ordering e-cards from Raise, and I caution everyone out there to be careful with them too. Now, in their defense, I have bought a couple of actual gift cards (the real ones) and to date I've had no problems. Joseph"
"I'm in the middle of some major home renovations after a small house fire. I happened to stumble on Raise.com shortly after getting into the renovations looking for a gift card online and was pleased to find so many Home Depot gift cards available! I've since spent over $12k on Raise.com on Home Depot gift cards but have saved about $1000 thanks to buying and using the gift cards. $1000 that went back into my pocket! My only concern was not being able to check balances through the Raise.com app. I contacted Raise Support about that and Katerina got back to me and thoughtfully explained that only the retailers can provide balances on gift cards, and she provided me with a link on Home Depot's website that allows me to do just that. I have nothing but good things to say about Raise.com. THANK YOU RAISE! "
"I did not use the card within their magical 100 day timeframe, so by the time I realized that they should have sent the pin, I was out of luck as far as they are concerned. I emailed them, got a form email reminding me of the 100 day policy and telling me that someone would get back to me again within 3 to 5 business days. Two months later, no response, so I called. I was told that they used to accept them without the pin but not anymore, plus... 100 days! So basically, tough luck, chum! How delightful.
It is a $50 Whole Foods card, I called Whole Foods, and the balance is there, but I am unable to use it because Raise apparently allowed someone else to sell this card to me through them, and I have to absorb the ramifications of their faulty practice. And I just don't understand why they didn't require that the pin be sent regardless. Whatever.
In any case, I have bought a bunch of cards from them, and I can't say I never will buy again. But I can say that it is unsettling to experience the lack of concern for any loss suffered by their consumers. Yes, they have a stated 100 day policy. They *also* still have my money and I have nothing to show for it, and that is frustrating.
*UPDATE* Today, THREE MONTHS later, I received the reply that they said would come in 3-5 business days. Another form email telling me about the 100 day policy. I sort of can't believe that a reply that comes three months after it was supposed to without any acknowledgment of such isn't kind of a deliberate middle finger. Meh. Anyway."
"My overall assessment is that Raise adds value if you are looking to save money. I've had a few hiccups, but Raise has always made the appropriate adjustment so I haven't so far lost a cent using Raise gift cards for savings. My best story of savings was when I was about to buy a refrigerator at one of the box stores. On sale, additional 10% off for Veteran's. I went out to the parking lot and downloaded about 20 Raise cards for an average of another 9% off. Went back into the store and started loading the gift cards. The screen didn't have enough lines to handle all the gift cards, but they figured out a solution. "
"I have been using raise.com for a few years and never had any issues until I purchased $250 gift card (e-voucher) and discovered that it had zero balance. I believe many criminals are using the website in order to take advantage of vulnerable marketplace as I see many complaints on this site that is exactly the same in nature. I contacted customer support for a number of times but it has continued to reject my request for refund simply because it is beyond 100 days.
As some of you are aware, all you need to know to use e-voucher is its number only and there is no mechanism to prevent a fraud: sellers can use the e-voucher anytime even after it is sold.
I learned this a hard way.
I was disgusted to find a number of the same complaints. Despite these numerous problems, Raise.com has continued to allow criminals to steal from consumers and in fact assisting such fraud to spread even further by not taking necessary measurement.
This has to be stopped. I plan to consult with an attorney to discuss a possible legal action including a class action which was suggested by a few on this website.

Let's combat the fraud and make Raise.com understand how properly consumer's right needs to be protected."
"I purchased two 675$ gift cards from this service. they ended up being fraudulent and customer service terrible to deal with to get the refund. It's going to end up costing me money after late fees and reactivation charges due to them. i will definitely never use them again."
"Never again will I order from Raise.com. Their customer service is terrible. I called them twice and emailed them four times (with no response) without a resolution to my problem. Now I'm out almost $300 from a bad gift card."
"Jerry helped me at Raise support and he was very friendly and willing to help. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to explain everything. "
