I feel that the only good reviews are from customers who were lucky RR had their item in stock or if the person didn't mind changing the color of their order when the item they wanted wasn't in stock.
I am pretty indifferent about the customer service. On one hand they were incredibly slow to respond to my emails when the state on their site it should take no more than two days, which is still too long. On the other when I called they did manage to cancel the items not in stock and send the one item that was in stock via priority mail, no extra charge, so I got 1 of 3 items barely in time for the event I wanted them for. I also got $10 off my next purchase, but I am unsure if I want to bother dealing with the hassle of ordering from this site again.
P.S. It also seems like I am one of the lucky ones who had no problem with their refund, although I shouldn't of been charged for an item that hadn't been shipped yet in the first place."
"On March 27th I placed an order for a pair of Atom LED Poi. The day after my order I received a notification that the color preference of Purple was remanded to a 3-4 week back order. I was assisted by Anthony and he was able to amend my order and change my color to the Red LED Atom Poi with very little loss to my delivery time. I am very impressed with the speed of the customer service response in handling this issue for me because of the time sensitive nature of getting the Poi to their destination ahead of an upcoming birthday. I will definitely be returning for future business and recommending Raveready.com to ither fellow Ravers who are in need of gear. Many thanks to Anthony for his excellent level of customer service which I feel is rare and is very much in the spirit of PLUR. "
"Seriously the WORST website of all time. I ordered a tank top and a pair of stash boxers on February 18th, 2013. The website says 2-3 days to ship, so I sent an email on February 21st, 2013. They informed me that the order was backordered (not stated on the website) and that they would receive the shipment in 1-1/2 weeks, then promptly ship it to me. It is now March 28th, and my order has not even been shipped. Not only did they lie to me in the email about when it would arrive, but they also have a worthless customer service phone number that seems designed to send you directly to their automated message saying to email them. I've called 7 times in a row, and they always seem to be "busy with other customers." Hands down the worst shopping experience I have ever had. This website is both misleading and full of lies.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the response email took 6 days, when the website says 2-3 days."
"Ordered pois on 12/21. Three months later, no pois. Tried to call cs on numerous occasions, but never a live answer. Emailed support. Anthony responded on 01/29 with the generic response:
We are currently waiting for a shipment from our manufacturer for the items that you ordered. Please be assured that as soon as we receive that said shipment, we will be able to promptly get your package out to you. We deeply apologize for the delay, and for any inconveniences we may have caused.
At this point, I just want a refund, but think pigs will most likely fly first.

"I had a very positive experience with my order, one of the items was backordered and they sent me an email right away and also called and left a voicemail about it. I was able to quickly place another order for a replacement item which they shipped out immediately. Would do business with them again."
"When I found Rave Ready I was very excited to place an order. The site is very easy to use and has countless products to look through! There is definitely something for everybody.
The customer service is impeccable as well. They are happy and willing to help modify your order if possible and the website updates with the status (in process, shipped, etc). When I called, they let me know which items of my order were on back-order, and offered options to replace for items which were in stock or for other sizes of the same item.

"I ordered a white halter top on 12/16. Never received my package and checked on the website and kept saying processing. 3 months later and now trying just to get a refund since they charged my card and order status still says "processing". Go somewhere more reliable. 3 months of processing an order is a bit ridiculous for a simple top. "
"I order a glove set and an orbital from RR on January 18th. They charged my credit card right away, but the item still has not even shipped!! It's been 6 weeks!! After several emails and several phone calls I still have no idea when the item may ship!! I get the same response Everytime, "we're expecting a shipment this week and your items should ship by weeks end." Needless to say this past week was the fourth time I've gotten the response.. I've tried calling and can not get a phone call back. I just want my money or my items!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM RaveReady.com. They will jerk you around and beat around the bush. "I placed an order on February 15th, it is now the 25th and my order STILL says it is processing. I have made calls and sent an email to RaveReady with no response. Also, their phone number posted on the website goes straight to a voicemail- this does not make a very good impression for first time customers and is very bad customer support/service.
10 days after placing my order and its still processing? No response to my inquiries? The item said it was in Stock or else I wouldnt have ordered it.
Buyer beware- they have cute stuff but order it from somewhere else more reliable."
"I have tried contacting this company 4 days ago about my order that was put through on 2/14/2013. I attempted to call and it went straight to voicemail, at that point i gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to send an email which the website states i would receive feed back 2-3 days later. Either way, the money has been taken OUT of my account already and i have yet to receive an email confirmation, a tracking number, or an email/call from the company. I realize its only been two weeks however they have my money and i dont even have a confirmation number or tracking number. I wont ever be ordering from this company again. And will be expecting a full refund as my order is still "processing" as per my account with them online. No matter what company you order from there should always be an IMMEDIATE confirmation number and 2-3 days for a tracking number with out charging the account UNTIL the items have shipped.
These people need to take business ethics 101.

"This company is crap! They advertise things that they don't have and lead you on for 6 months or more befor finally telling you. Then they simply say " sorry about that. We will not bill you". Seriously! Thanks for not taking money for merchandise you can't send..... basicly, thaks steeling my time, but not my money. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. "I called and placed order on Dec 20,2012 for a pair of fire poi. I spoke with Anthony, a CS agent and he placed the order and told me the price would be 89.99. He told me that my Credit Card would not be charged till the item shipped from their warehouse once they received it from the Manufacture. I asked when I should expect to see them and he told me with in the first two weeks of January. I said ok sounds good. I wrote them by email a few times to check on the order. I received the same answers every time that it was on the way from the manufacture and there was no new information. January 10th, 2013 came along and I received an alert that my card had been charged. In fact it caused my account to overdraft because I was never told anything new about the order coming in. I then wrote the support email and asked them why my Credit Card was charged and when I would be receiving the poi. Alexis wrote back stating that my Credit Card was charged because they would be receiving the item next week and so that when the order arrived from the manufacture they could send it out right away to get it to me sooner. I waited till Jan 16th to write them again, to ask if they received the shipment from the manufacture like they stated in their previous email. I received a reply on Jan 17th saying that I will receive a tracking number once the item ships. (They completely avoiding my question on when I would receive it.)
I sent an email Jan 22nd, stating I wanted to know exactly (with in a 2-3day lendency) of when I would be receiving them or otherwise I want a full refund. January 23,24 no reply
January 25th- I sent emails asking twice to reply. Finely I received a reply stating they were still waiting from their Manufacture to receive the product. (then why was my card charged?)
I then sent several emails and called several times asking them to cancel the order.
I finely received an email from Alexis stating that the order was canceled and I would receive a refund in 2-3days.
I then wrote back asking for a Confirmation number and the amount of the refund that I should be expecting. I received no reply after that.
This company never gave me a concrete date of when I would receive my product ordered and they lied when they said they wouldnt charged my card until they shipped the product to me.
I did do some research on the company after all this happened to me, to find out that I am not the only one they have done this to. They happened to have an D+ and F rating from the BBB. They also have a ton of bad reviews, one after another, from previous customers just like me that have experienced the same issues with this company.
They work with two business names Beats Drop Closets and Rave Ready. Both online retailers.
This company has poor communication with their customers and they dont live up to the laws of the FTC. I will find out in a few days if Ive been hoaxed further, once these 2-3 days past and I find out they didn't give me a full return. I just feel that a company that has failed so many before me should not be able to survive as long as it has on these values. This entire experience has been one of the worst that Ive ever had, dealing with an online retailer.
