Customer Service? Really?

"Customer service as I know it, doesn't exist here!! They don't answer emails, they leave you on the phone until you hang up. I've been trying to do a simple return/exchange for some vent shades I had ordered and they sent the wrong ones. Now they refuse to help me or even communicate with me."

Do not buy from these people

"They are liars - I canceled the order within an hour, they said it would be no problem, but manually ran the card the next day. it has been a week and they have not refunded my order (they said it would be a day).

This website is a scam - I would sooner respond to "Nigerian prince with $5,000,000 need your help" than work with this site.

This site is a scam - stay away - I used autoanything and they are far superior.

“WORLD CLASS TRASH” of customer service

"Customer service doesn't exist!! They don't answer emails, they leave you on the phone until you hang up. I've been trying to do a simple return/exchange for some taillights and they refuse to help me. I was told there return labels were on back log at one point. How does that happen? How does asking for an exchange from a happy customer lead to a bloodthirsty madman in just a few weeks? RIP OFF your customers, IGNORE your customers and you will have only excustumers looking for every way possible to spread the word of this "WORLD CLASS TRASH" of a customer service team. I also believe they cherry pick there reviews. I posted mine weeks ago and don't see it. With all the complaints here I don't see them on there websites. So if you have a bad experience getting ripped off from this company make sure your voice is heard and spread it to as many platforms as possible. There not gonna continue to rip off customers. (I dealt with Krystal Sukkel & Bennetha Sampson)"

Avoid this company - terrible customer service

"I was sent a truck bed cover that, while it was the correct model number for my truck, was over an inch too short to fit my bed. I spent almost a week providing every bit of information customer service asked for while I was seeking a solution. I measured, took photos, sent images of the poor fit and serial numbers on the item. It was pointless. It was obvious they were looking for an excuse to not take responsibility. I returned the cover in the end. It was a giant waste of time and money. Avoid this company. I wish I would have read others reviews on this company, and not just the item I ordered. "

Watch out for hidden shipment fees.

"Bought bumpers. Watch out for hidden shipping fees for liftgate. Even tho 400 lbs how do they expect getting off the truck. If your residential. Don’t use them and go straight to manufacturer. They do not take care of customers. They don’t give any info ahead of purchase or after. Time frames are random too. They will tell different weeks of completion of product as well. They don’t have a clue. "

Middle man that does care about customer service

"I ordered window deflectors the rear ones were damaged. Called...given a link to respond. Responded with pictures. Nothing so when to their chat stated my problem no reply. Called again oh yes we got it...Me no one notified me. So and so is handling it I'll let him and he will be contacting you! NOPE. I will NEVER order from them or recommend them. I also ordered seat covers...manufacturer called and told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks...Real Truck never bothered to say how long."

I ordered side step rails for my 2019 Chevy Silverado

"They sent me the wrong parts, telling me there were 2 models that year and I must need the other ones. But I cannot get a return number to drop these off
For return, and they are quite heavy for me to handle. The customer service doesn’t seem to know what’s going on.

Horrible Customer Service

"Just make sure you know what you are ordering before you order it. If you think it might not fit or might not be right find out for sure beforehand. Their return system is horrible. OI've been waiting a week for a return authorization on a small $18- item. I've called multiple times, the person(s) in charge of returns don't seem to respond to voicemail or eMail. I get excuses from customer service reps like, "the computers were down" or "we have been very busy" What a lame company. I'l never buy another item from them"

Not reliable, will not purchase parts here again!

"This being the first time that I ever shoopped with REAL TRUCK, I had high expectations reading the online reviews...I was seriously dissappointed. I origianlly ordered a tonneau cover from TONNEAU COVERS WORLD (same company as REAL TRUCK). I paid extra to have the cover shipped two day delivery. After waiting 6 days I decided to contact TCW to determine what the problem was, I was told by MARK DAVIS (customer service rep) that the cover was three weeks from delivery, they are apparently made to order - but that is NOT identified when purchasing the item OR PAYING FOR THE EXPEDITED DELIVERY! Mark worked with me to locate another cover that would suffice and he cancelled the original order, although it wasn't what I wanted, I was satisfied with the assistance... I even added a 250$ muffler to the purchase. Mark explained to me on the call that since I spoke to him over the phone I would have three weeks to decide whether or not the cover would work, if not, I could return it. After three days, I received the cover with NO muffler, when I called RT back, I was told that the muffler would take three weeks to ship from the manufacturer (also NOT identified on the website). I cancelled the order on the muffler and installed the cover. The lock on the cover would not latch so I sent the CS department an email describing the issue, I received a timely response back from Melissa Ellefson explaining that she had sent en email to the manufacturer and would get back to me on their response. After three days, I contacted her this morning...she had received a response (I guess she just hadn't had time to let me know) explaining that the manufacturer would need pics of the lock mechanism. I explained to her that I was using the cover to secure tools and electronics for work in a metropolitan area, I didn't have time to go back and forth with the manufacturer...I just wanted to return the cover and purchase something different. SHE EXPLAINED THAT SHE COULD NOT TAKE THE ITEM BACK IF IT HAD BEN INSTALLED - once again, NOT explained to me when I was told I had three weeks to determine whether or not I wanted to keep it.

I highly recommend that you look at alternative resellers when searching for automotive parts, REAL TRUCK sheds new light on the phrase BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT make a purchase without contacting someone from customer service to determine what the REAL shipping date. DO NOT believe anything that the customer service rep tells you unless you get it in writing!!

Rather than wasting more time going back and forth with a lackluster CS department, I will be ordering a new lock mechanism (from and alternative vendor) at my cost...still a beter option than dealing with a vendor that doesn't back what they say.

Worst Purchase Experience

"BUYER BEWARE! I am not sure how this company stays in business. I ordered a simple dash cover on July 21, 2019 and was delivered on September 29, 2019 on a date RealTruck assured me it would not deliver since I notified them I would be on vacation. The "custom" product is a terrible fit to the dash. It is not even close to fitting my vehicle to include extra material and the speakers are covered up. The return was a three day event and I was finally told to destroy the product and send a picture for a refund. Gladly! Picture is send and we will see how the refund goes. "
