"I ordered a Yakima rack to attach to my Retrax bed cover. The "kit" was being pieced together with product off the website. I bounced over to the Yakima website and noticed that they said these adapters were needed. I very specifically asked my rep to add them to the order and even sent him the link from the Yakima website and he said they weren't needed. The parts showed up, super quickly which I was excited about, but when I went to install everything before my trip, I realized that they will not bolt together and that I do in fact need the adapters plates. As a customer I understand that mistakes happen but I also did the research for the rep to spoon feed the details, sent the links, asked to buy them and I couldn't. It makes for a not so great experience."
"They keep discontinued items on their website, even when you tell them multiple times. It keeps showing as they have stuff in stock. So you ask them again, do you have it in stock, they say yes, you go through the process of getting excited and order it just for it to turn out they don't have it in stock because they don't stock the stuff they just order it from the other manufacturers. "
