"I've always enjoyed ordering clothes from Roaman's over the years. I've occasionally bought clothes from there for my wardrobe. I felt like I could trust them as a co. In the past I'd be sent the wrong thing or its taken a long time but I got it. This time it seemed like it was taking a long time but I've been set up in the past to expect them to take a little longer to get to me and they'd always come. I felt like I'd never had any real problems. It never occurred to me that I should check within a month
I was ordering replacement clothes for funeral use as mine were no longer fit to wear. I wanted a few different options so i ordered some mix and match black outfit pieces. For me this was a large order $165.35.
Because these clothes were for funerals they weren't part of my daily wardrobe so I didn't put the priority on to monitoring their being shipped as much as I would have if I was waiting to wear these clothes to work everyday or to a special occasion. I just in the back of my mind told myself well I have some funeral clothes coming and you know no big deal they'll come whenever they come.
Now I know that doesn't seem like a lot of money to a lot of people out there but for me it is a lot of money I can't afford to make orders like that very often .
I did finally write concerned when i had realized how long it was taking the main response that I've got back was - we have a policy that we can't give any refunds or exchanges for anything within 60 days of their shipping it. Well I can relate to that policy. I understand the reason that policies like that are in place and you know they don't want to have to have returned merchandise long after the order date. The problem for me is that I never received anything and it's obvious with the tracking information. At first when I started checking on Romans website the dates for estimated delivery were being pushed further out and I didn't know why I just assumed it took awhile for them to ship . After I started looking more in depth on my own with the tracking number I realized it looks like it got held up in Houston. I never received these products that I spent $165.35 for. I feel like if they can't honor the order and they can't provide shipping that gets the product to me even if their delivery service is to blame I shouldn't be having to pay for that mistake. I placed the order in good faith I paid them the money they received their payment but yet I am not going to get the clothes because it's 60 days after the shipping date . I'm 16 days out of their policy(as of the last correspondence ) and they couldn't make an exception with me being 16 days out of their policy and it being their carriers fault. I'm so disappointed in this company. I can honestly say because of Roaman's unwillingness to work with me on this I will not ever be purchasing clothes from Roaman's again and I probably won't be purchasing from any of their affiliate companies either. Now I'm out the money and still need funeral clothes. I can't really afford to lose that much money. I don't know a lot of people who could. That's on me I should have been on it but I trusted them and I didn't read their policies. I guess I would just like this to be a warning to anyone else that purchases from Roaman's be more careful than I was - so you don't get screwed out of your hard earned money. I have lost faith in Roaman's for myself due to their unwillingness to resolve this issue when Its obvious that I never received the clothes.
I'm sure them losing me as a customer for their store and their affiliate stores probably won't matter to them at all - it's just the way the world is now. I was 16 days outside of their policy and apparently that's all that matters!"
"I placed an order and over 3 months later I received my dress. It was on sale for less a week after I ordered and asked about receiving the lower price. Got a back-order notice. Re-asked about price match. Nothing. Just numerous e-mails everyday or more for instant sales and offers. Sent a message AGAIN when finally received dress and over a month later they are unable to adjust the $5. as: "I apologize, however since our offers and sales change frequently we are unable to honor a new sale or discount on a prior purchase. " I'M DONE WITH ROAMANS!"
"Well it appears that I am not alone in my frustration with Roamans! I placed an order on June 5, 2021, I still have not received my order, as a matter of fact a label was created and according to the Post Office (my research not Roamans) my order is not in the Postal System. My package has been in Monroe Township NJ for weeks and never moved. Roamans will not look into where my package is nor will they refund my money for 30 days from “shipment”. They are a horrible company that I will no longer do business with… They appear to be following the same scripted message for everyone… Don’t keep blaming COVID when you are showing the merchandise in stock. Quick to take my money but getting it back has been a challenge."

"I bought a shirt from Romans. Soon after this charges started showing up on my credit card for purchase I did not make. Receipts where emailed to "null" instead of the email on my account. Order details did not show what was ordered, and my address was listed only as "US" for these false orders, not my address on recorded. The fact that the orders show no items, and the email and shipping info was not what was on my account show this fraud is within the company. I have contacted Romans serveral times, by phone and email. No one answers the phone, and no one responses to email. I have contacted Full Beauty who owns Romans with the same result. This has been going on for a month, and no one at Romans or Full Beauty appears to care about credit card fraud from their employees. So beware, if you by something from Romans, and soon after a small charge shows up on your credit card, that is the thieves seeing if you notice. About a month later larger charges start to show up."
"Roaman's is a rip off company pure and simple. Why?
**They grossly overcharge for ALL postage, basing it on the cost of the merchandise VS the weight to actually ship it. This really hurts if you want to return an item.
**You can wait for 30 minutes plus to speak to an available agent, BTW, all working out of their homes without any access to an actual real supervisor.
**They constantly offer 40-50% off promo codes on all purchase items . But when one goes to buy something using the promo code, it doesn't work on 'all' items.
**They were supposed to let me know when something came in that was long back-ordered, to see if I still wanted the dress. Instead they just shipped it and charged me 'full price' even though that item is now 40% off; the difference in price, nearly $24.00. I was on hold for over 1.5 hours finally speaking with three different people. Supervisor was supposed to call me back in one hour; he did so the next day when I was still sleeping. The matter isn't resolved.
**They need to honor their very own price changes. Every other company I know of honors the current price, even it if was a full price when originally ordered. Why would I go ahead with the order if I could get it for $24 less. They still make a ton of money on my purchase, even discounted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
**They send a catalog every other day even after I have repeatedly asked them to stop sending the paper catalogs.
**They are NOT listening. They do NOT care about their customers. They make their money selling massive quantities of affordable clothing made by pretty much slave labor overseas.

"Order 3/29. Item came okay but didn't fit even though I went by their measurements. Used return mailing ticket and sent it back. Now it seems to have vanished, Roamans have no customer service to talk to and phone prompts are useless. Never ordering from here again. Now I will contact credit card company to resolve. "
"I purchased sleepwear that I did not receive. Was shipped to another state. Called their "Customer Service". Was on hold for 44 minutes 38 seconds. Finally spoke with someone. They would not ship it out NDA at their expense, nor would they give me credit. Told me I would have to call back in 30 days. I explained that I was on hold for a very long time, they said they realize this, but that this is their policy. If I want credit, I will have to go through all of this again in 30 days. "I placed an order on roamans.com on May 3. Understanding that, due to the pandemic, things might be delayed, I knew my standard shipping might be more like 7-10 days rather than 5-7. However, I've never received any emails about shipping, nothing about any issues with the order, etc.. I had to always go online to login and see my order history.
What first surprised me was that only one of my products had a status of shipped, and the other said it was backordered. I would not ever order an item that has a backorder - this is my own personal preference, as you never really know when the product is coming in.
The tracking info for the item that shipped has, every day, extended out further with it's pending delivery. The item that shipped had an original estimated delivery date of May 12 - and the website that provides tracking that is connected to the website said the information would update when the package was received for shipping.
Now the tracking on the Roamans.com website says that the package still has not been received for shipping and has an estimated delivery date of May 21! Is my package just sitting in their warehouse waiting to get picked up?!
I don't know, because I can't even get a response from their customer service team to really tell me.
This week I was charged by the company, again, for the second item. I logged in and saw that the status on that item had changed from backordered to processed, which was the status when I FIRST placed the order on May 3.
I logged in today to the website and saw that it said online chat was available. So, I clicked the chat link and entered my info. About a minute later I saw the chat "available" turn to "unavailable."
I just want to know what's going on with my order. I feel like my money has been stolen, and I'm not getting any response from their customer service that would say one way or the other what's going on with my product. I paid for shipping on goods that, frankly, don't even look like they've been shipped and may not ever ship at this point. With tracking information provided, I do feel like I've been defrauded and am close to filing a dispute for the charges with my bank.
I will NEVER order from Roamans.com again, and strongly advise others to run, quickly, in the opposite direction from this site. After seeing the other complaints on this website, I understand I am not alone and wish I had looked at the online reviews before I made the choice to purchase!"

"I ordered a swimdress, and clearly did not research the reviews prior, which was clearly a HUGE mistake. I received a men’s plaid shirt. I called to get the correct item shipped, and I was told I had to exchange the current item first, which could take up to 3 weeks or pay again and they would credit me once the shirt was returned. After telling them to just refund me because I’m not waiting that long, they told me I had to return the $24 shirt first(my swimdress was $66).This was a huge inconvenience since this wasn’t my mistake and a waste of my time to ship something I never ordered. After talking to a crappy supervisor they agreed to refund me the full amount with shipping, but they needed the shirt back within 30 days. So I agreed, but only have received the refund for the item. I told them I’m not sending the item back until I receive the full refund since that was the deal. They keep replying saying that the refund was processed for the shipping. It is still not on my card or PayPal account. This is a HORRIBLE company, and I’m not sure how they stay in business. "I returned tops one tore opened and frayed while wearing it. I spoke to customer service i was instructed to return all the tops since they were made from same material. Which i did. They sent top back stating damaged. Customer service insinuated i wore the tops for weeks & sent them back. I only wore one of the tops. They won't refund my money. Lost $100 gift certificate plus. Don't waste your money. Horrible to deal with very poor quality"
