"I ordered from rock auto as and alternative to a local parts store, to save money. I was encouraged by the fact that they advertise overnight shipping. I paid for my part and overnight shipping. I received and email 24 hours later stating my part had shipped and will be delivered the following afternoon, 24 additional hours later. How is this overnight shipping? I advise all of you to forgo the savings and purchase locally if you need your car to be on the road immediately. This is very dissapointing to me and I will not be purchasing from rockauto in the future."

"RockAuto.com is #1. My car broke down and I needed an Exhaust Manifold. I called around different local auto parts stores and I received a price of over $500.00. I searched online for the best price and found Rock Auto. Not only was the price over $150.00 less, the service is fast and the product is true to description and well made. My husband put the part on with no difficulty.
Since this order I have ordered for my brother and he is waiting for his product.

"I orderes two the same parts for a Mustang 1995, 3,6 Ltr.
One part is ok., the other is wrong, for an other car, i think.
I mailed this to RockAuto five times, without any response.
Mc car stays in the garage on the lift, i cant drive it.
And RockAuto does not answer.
I live in BELGIUM and be Journalist by german TV. Next time i like to make a tv-feature about RockAuto and the handling of complaints.

"I ordered an exhaust manifold/catalytic converter and not only was the shipping quick, the part arrived with all the necessary bolts and gaskets. Part seemed to be a higher quality aftermarket converter, versus the one I was replacing. Everything works great now, and I just wanted to say this is a good store. Have used them before and will again in the future."

"Absolutley the WORST customer service. Purchased a part at an agreed upon price. Then was told the part was no longer available at the price, after I had already paid for the part. If I wanted the same part I would have to pay nearly double. Bait and switch is illegal, but apparently this company doesn't care how they operate. Finally had to speak to the VP of Customer Service who told me that they were willing to lose a customer and my long time patronage rather than keep their word. I will never buy another part from this company and urge others to never purchase from them unless you want to be lied to outright.

This was not a "scratch and Dent" part, this was a brand new part at a sale price, that suddenly wasn't available for the sale price once the transaction was completed. I didn't ask for a different part, or a different brand, just the one I had agreed to pay for. If the part was not in a sellable condition, it never should have been listed for sale.

I didn't "choose" to be refunded I was only given the option to Pay more money for the same part than what was agreed upon or cancel my order. So unless you're willing to be price gouged by RockAuto, don't bother purchasing from them.

If you cannot meet your committiments to a customer, you should not be in business."
