Then I have to pay to return the item they're unwilling to make any adjustments to shipping or return costs. Despite multiple emails to them from me and me reaching out to UPS who said that if they contacted them they could make the adjustment they won't do it"

So I purchased a bunch of parts for 96 Suburban. One item was a Spider injection assembly FJ504 Standard Motor Products, A/C Delco was available at the time of purchase. About a week later the built in fuel pressure regulator went out. I try to contact RockAuto to avail and even emailed them, no response. They asked in a questionnaire if it is an item I could repair and the cost of repair. To my surprise I NEVER HEARD BACK, It cost $600 bucks to have the shop go back in and replace a DEFECTIVE fuel pressure regulator. I am always looking for a great deal on auto parts but to not get back to your customer. Shame on you RockAuto!"
"I received my order today, I opened the box and inside was an unknown, un-labeled pair of pads rapped up in an old blue rag. Like WTF. are you kidding. Then of course there is no way to contact these people. Needed this vehicle for weekend, had to go to Part Source for pads. Id leave a photo here if I could. What a joke. Glad I only got ripped for a small amount. Lesson learned, never again. "

"Ordered quality suspension parts. Received china garbage for the left side. Different size design color thickness period different cheap mismatch garbage. The bot decided those are good parts just in a different package. Livid pulling hair out rage. There are no people. No customer service. It's you and a bot. "They shipped my order to an old address. I tried to contact them, but they are proud of the fact that they have no customer service. I tried to call FedEx to have the shipment rerouted, but RockAuto restricts changes to shipping and only they can request shipping changes. I tried to use the online self help form, but there is no category for incorrect shipping address, and they can only assist after the package had been delivered. That's the problem, once it's been delivered, there's no way they can reroute the package. I will never do business with this company again. "

"I decided to try to use RockAuto for a power steering pump, hoses, a belt tensioner and a new belt. While waiting for the parts someone recommended checking the steering shaft as the U-joints on F150's were known to fail. That was the actual failure. I went through the RMA process and I only opened the original shipping box to verify that all parts had been shipped and to insert the packing slip. I shipped the parts back and the refund was $94 short. When I contacted them by email they said the pressure hose wasn't in the box. It was definitely in the box when I shipped it and I doubt very much that it was removed by FedEx. I worried about buying from them in case I needed to return a part and they proved my fears to be true. They are scammers."
"I recently ordered two brake rotors from Raybestos part number 5994R through rockauto.com. As well a pinion nut that I never received and some diff carrier shims that were wrong. No respond for the above.
Because I'm frequently in the US I used a US shipping address and a Canadian billing address. Rockauto has no problem to charge a Canadian credit card and send the parts to the US address.
After further inspection on the parts, I noticed that one brake rotor was wrong and sent by mistake from rock auto. I agree that mistakes happen.
Since the shipping address and billing address is different, they are not willing to exchange/pay shipping for the wrong part nor are they willing to pay for the return shipping of the correct part. This is the last time I deal with this crooked outfit.
Tip for consumers:
Stay as far away from rockauto as you can. There are a bunch of crooks. There are other parts warehouses out there to order parts."
"I bought a pair of Monroe struts in 2021, one of them failed within a year. Monroe struts are warrantied for 5 years ONLY through authorized dealers. RockAuto IS NOT an authorized Monroe dealer. They source parts from only God knows where. When I called Monroe customer service, they only honor warranties through dealers, which RockAuto is not. I will not be buying anything from them anymore! I hope this helps others before they consider purchasing from RockAuto. Best to use local parts dealers and spend the few extra dollars for a warranty and peace of mind."
"Ordered a part Rockauto claims to be for my vehicle. The part is shorter than the OEM part and Rockauto doesn't want to take responsibility for the misfitting part. They want me to pay for the return shipping. Outrageous, will never do business with this lame organization again."
"I recently broke down in the middle of traffic to find out my fuel pump had gone out! We were able to get a fuel pump and a fuel filter in 2 days from RockAuto for half the price of what we would have paid at a local parts store. That even included the shipping! All the local part stores were almost a week out on getting the parts in plus charging twice as much! I had reservations because of the low ratings for this online store... But boy did they prove me wrong! And I'm so glad they did! Happy customer right here... for life!"
"I bought a pair of wiper blades for a 1964 Cadillac on their website said exact fit, ordered it they did not fit send it back. They charge me $14.95 for shipping and another $7.48 for sending it back. Ridiculous they did not fit was not my problem their problem."
