Do it yourself method

"It is impossible to get anyone in the customer service or parts departments on the phone. I have waited for the parts department twice for an hour and then. I was disconnected. If it was not for the on-line website samsungparts.com, I wouldn't have been able to get this much needed part. "

Shipping auto-changed from "standard" to "3-day air" during check-out

"I clearly selected "standard" shipping for approx $42 during checkout. I can wait for plastic parts. Upon final review before the final purchase click, my final price jumped by over $200 dollars. For a second, I thought I had added two of the most expensive items by mistake instead of 1. Upon closer inspection, the shipping method automatically upgraded to 3-day air. Unacceptable. Upon redoing the purchase order, it worked with "standard" shipping."

Exorbitant shipping / handling

"A $36 part required an $11 shipping charge. At least that was disclosed prior to checkout. An additional $9 fee for handling was added after I checked out with Paypal. Combined that's about 60% of the price of the item. Completely unacceptable."

"I ordered directly from Samsung because you can't gurantee the parts you get from amazon are authenic. While I wisht he shipping was free 2 day I get with Amazon Prime I don't mind paying a little bit more for peace of mind!"
