"I cannot express how disappointed I am in my shopping experience with Skymall. I ordered an item for my husband for Christmas on December 1st. I could have purchased the same item on ebay, but decided (unfortunately), to go with Skymall. Unlike good websites, there was nothing to say that the item was out of stock when they took my money. Two days later, I get an email saying that, "Due to unexpected demand for this item (an Easter Island Head statue... Unexpected demand? Really?!), the item was expected to ship on or before December 30th. There was no option to cancel my order or get a refund (which is what I would have opted for... I still could have gotten the item by Christmas through another vendor at that point). The next message I got from Skymall came on 12/24/14, apologizing again and stating that they expected the item to ship on or before January 2nd. They continued to assure me that my satisfaction is of utmost importance to them (yeah... Right.) January 2nd came and went. I received a message again on January 5th (more than a month after I ordered the item), this time telling me that they expect the item to ship on or before January 23rd. Are you kidding? The form letter again assures their commitment to my satisfaction and asks me (for the third time) to fill out a questionnaire about my experience with Skymall, and hence this review. I have always been intrigued by the Skymall magazine when I have flown... They have unique and interesting products. Unfortunately, I now know that they don't really have the products, and when or if you will ever get your item is unknown, although they are more than happy to take your money. Do yourself a favor and avoid Skymall like the plague. I will NEVER shop at Skymall again, and will be sure to share my experience with anyone and everyone that I can."

"I submitted my order on 12/15/14, I then received an email stating my order was backordered on 12/16/14. I cancelled my order on 12/17/14. Yet, this cancelled order was shipped anyway on 12/19/14 and they charged my bank account $83.97 on 12/23/14. I will not ever buy anything from SkyMall again."

"I AM NOT SATISFIED!! AT ALL!! I HAVE HAD THE MOST FRUSTRATING ORDEAL CONVERNINH THIS ORDER!!! I AM STILL WAITING ON IT ONLY TO FIND OUT ITS BEEN RETURNED!! WHY WHY WHY?? WHAT IS THE PROBLEM??? "I am totally dissatisfied with my sky mall experience. I ordered a Christmas ornament on December 1st and here I am on December 31st and it has still not arrived. I called and emailed the customer service people several times over the last month and never got any definitive answers from them, one of the calls I asked tao speak to a supervisor and was left on hold for over 30 minutes before I gave up and hung up. "

"My first order from Skymall will be the last. Ordered an item for Christmas knowing it may come late due to me ordering last minute. After two weeks and countless calls and emails they couldn't even tell me if it shipped. After requesting a call with the status i get a system generated email saying its back ordered. This took two weeks after it showed as "in stock"? Everyone I spoke to promised to get back to me with an update but no one did. Customer service is not just being polite on the phone, its actually following up. They also don't warehouse items like Amazon, they drop ship from the vendor so tracking and getting info is a nightmare. I highly recommend avoiding this poorly run business."

"normally I get that during the holiday season, everyone is busy and things take longer to arrive, but I ordered something special on Skymall, that was supposed to arrive in 7 business days. I ordered on the 13th, granted I know late, but technically it was supposed to be here by December 23rd. it never arrived, and when I got on the phone with customer service, they said it was lost, and they had to do an inquiry about the tracking number because I never got one. then they said to wait 3 days just to get a tracking number. well 3 days went by and I still never got anything. I called customer service again and was told it was still lost, and they had to do another inquiry with the vendor to find out where it was and to still get a tracking number. after speaking with several supervisors and being told they would call me back, (which never happened) I finally got a tracking number this morning. it looks like it will arrive January 5th, two weeks late. and when I got on the phone one last time to speak to a supervisor, I was told that they can credit me my shipping but that is all they can do for me. I was not even apologized to for the inconvenience and bad customer service.
I'm telling all of you this for a reason, DO NOT BUY from SKYMALL

"I will never shop sky mall again. I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my nephew on December 8. The website claimed it would be delivered within 10 business days. On December 24, 12 business days after my order was processed, sky mall still couldn't tell me if the package had even shipped. I didn't get shipping confirmation until the evening of December 29. The package is expected January 5, nearly A MONTH after I ordered it. I am incredibly disappointed, as is my nephew, who still hasn't gotten his Christmas present. Thanks for nothing skymall!"
