"I ordered an item for a Christmas gift it was to be delivered to Austin Tx. It went to Johnston RI. Now they say that they are giving me a full refund. So much for Christmas No smiles from my best friend"
"I placed an order at the skymall.com website and received a confirmation via email on 12/11/14 at 9:40 am. It is 12/23/14 and I had not received a shipping notification as of yet so I called customer service at skymall.com. Gave my info and confirmation number to the gentleman repeating my name and email address at least 3 times. I was then put on hold for at least 15 min while they tried to find my order in their system. No luck. I now have to forward the confirmation email, and check my bank statements to see if I rcvd a charge. He then said I may have to re-order due to possible computer error, yet their computer system generated an email to me....... I'm not pleased, we'll see how skymall's customer service turns this situation around. It may be my last order with skymall.
update: It is now Dec 30th and I have still not received a response from skymall to the confirmation forward they requested and I sent...TWICE!! I have an ID that they received it. Officially, this is the last time I even look at their magazine inflight! "
"Unfortunately, I received inaccurate customer service information when I placed an order for a personalized Christmas gift on 12/16/2014. I was told my gift would arrive for Christmas. When I followed up on the order over the phone today I was told personalized orders take roughly 21 days to process before shipping so my gift will be ready to give sometime around Feb. but I would need to count the days on a calendar to try to figure out a more exact date. It's too bad the customer service reps are not better aligned on the service they provide. "

"Awful experience all around. Placed an order Dec. 9, 2014, for an item my elderly aunt wanted. No email received about the order being shipped so I went to the SkyMall site a week ago. Nothing there. No confirmation that the order had shipped, no carrier or tracking info or links, just useless. Sent an inquiry last week via their site, still no email reply. Called customer service today (Dec. 23) and they know nothing. "The vendor should let us know within 2 business days." Not much help for my dear Aunt who wanted this for Christmas. AVOID Sky Mall!"

"I am very disappointed. I ordered something for my wife for Christmas and made the order early. I Got an e-mail saying it was shipped out 12/5/14. Its now the 22nd and still have not gotten it. I finally called to check on it and was told it was delivered on the 10th. It was not. The operator just said they were making a note of it and was not able to say if I was going to get it in time for Christmas. This could very well be the last time I ever order from SkyMall"

did you screw up my order your rep stated they sent me an email and called me last Friday. Today is the first day you

"I ordered The Lazer Pitch Baseball machine that appeared available for Christmas on Dec. 13 and showed shipping would arrive prior to Christmas. I receive an email December 18 saying it is on backorder and is expected to ship on or before January 1. I have received an email everyday since (now 3 days in a row) pushing that backorder date back another day each time. I expect to get the same email tomorrow pushing it back yet another day. I am quite disappointed that it was listed available in the first place and that it took almost a week for me to receive the email it was on backorder. Had I known it was unavailable more immediately, I would have cancelled the purchase and looked elsewhere. I want the product and paid approx. $15 more for it than on other websites because it was one of the only sites that showed it available. I will definitely think twice before ordering from your site again. I definitely hope I don't receive another email moving back my backorder date on the item I purchased. "
"I placed a gift order to send a package to my dad. I input his apt. # but it didn't show up when I got the confirmation e-mail. So I called Sky Mall and was told my order isn't showing in the system yet and to call back in an hour. I called back 2 hours later and was told they still couldn't see the order and to give it 24 hours. So I sent an e-mail and never got a response. Not very happy with the service I've received and would not recommend it to anyone. I still don't know if my dad will get his gift at this point."
"I was notified that my order -a gift- was backordered by a few weeks, but it shipped the day after I requested to cancel it and ordered another item from a different vendor, resulting in my having to pay for two of the same item. Really would've appreciated either accurate information or a faster processing time than 3 days to cancel a single order."
