What a scam

"My playstation controllers always break (stick drift) within 2 years, so after like my third failed controller I decided to get the "protection plan," and yep, this controller got stick drift after 1 year, so I went to my walmart account and clicked on "file a claim." That button directed me to create an account on the square trade site, but when I entered my email/password the site said "email and password don't match." So I went in and tried to reset the password and the error message said, "Can not reuse any of your past five passwords." So the system recognized the password enough to not let me reuse it, but not enough to let me log in to the account???
Anyone who is even thinking about dealing with this company should try to call them. Go ahead, try it... I'll wait. Couldn't get through, could you? It's absolutely impossible to call them. There system is set up to prevent all calls, so you are forced to chat with chat bots. I had to visit the site four or five times before my claim could be approved and each time the chat bots made me explain how the site wasn't letting me log in and made me go through their whole preprogrammed spiel before finally manually approving my claim.
And then when my claim was approved they sent me a link to print out a shipping label. I don't have a printer, so I forwarded that to the mailbox etc store and went to town to mail the thing back, but when I got there the person couldn't open the shipping label, because it required logging into the account, which does not work. I had to come back home and go through the chat nonsense once again to get them to send me a pdf version of the shipping label to my email.
And then when I went back to the store and shipped the thing to them I got an email telling me that my claim was approved and here is my gift card... and it didn't work due to technical problems. I will never EVER buy the protection plan on anything ever again. What a scam!

"I was able to get some help with filing a claim on a Hoover Shampooer that had stopped working, the only issue I have is that every HOOVER SHAMPOOER that Iv purchased has stopped working after 6 months of having the shampooer. But AllState claims was easy to use. "
