Worth it if you are going to follow up

"Purchased at Target-Target told me I had to go thru Apple. Apple sent me back to target. Someone there was able to lead me in the correct direction. Filled out claim and quickly got approved. Then gift card immediately came but it was difficult to access and download. Finally got it and it’s only partial amount so you need to send receipt to get remainder of funds…just a lot of work but I had the time so it worked out "

No contact for 9 days

"Reported a problem with my TV. Was told a local TV repair guy would be at my house in 5 days, on Friday between 8 and noon. Repair guy never called, never showed up, and his phone number was apparently disconnected. Reported the problem, and was told I would have to wait another "few" days before Allstate could get back to me. Still waiting, and no one scheduled to come.

So no repaired TV for almost 2 weeks.

Made it easy

"Th e insurance company made my ordeal tolerable. It's bad enough to have your property in my case my cellphone damaged but they made the process fairly easy and I thank them for that. When you're elderly things like this are very confusing. I'm just thankful that I have insurance with who I have. "

Fast turn around. My phone is like new

"Allstate fixed my phone quickly. I got back my phone and it works like new. I'm so happy to not get a replacement. Getting the same phone back is such a relief. I wasn't comfortable giving my password and removing all security and tracing, but they accepted my phone that was factory reset.
FedEx is another story. I don't trust FedEx at all
