"On Saturday May 25th my husband received 2 emails stating tickets were ready to accept. One order was for $1,089.16 and another for $3,770.94.
These were fraudulent purchases. One was for a fight in Georgia that same night and the other is for one ticket to a Taylor Swift concert in Miami.
We live in Oklahoma. I immediately called Stubhub and reported both purchases fraudulent. We called the bank and shut off the debit card and the charges were still just pending so we had to wait to dispute the charges until they fully processed through.
Meanwhile Stubhub told us these would be escalated to their fraud department.
We received an email back stating they reviewed the purchase and deemed it to be non fraudulent. What?
These are 100% fraudulent! I called them again and the representative said he would send these back to their fraud department. Again these people deemed the purchases as not fraudulent. So long story short, Stubhub DOES NOT have a fraud department and they let someone steal nearly $5,000.00.
Our bank is reimbursing us but the fact the thieves will have no consequences and STUBHUB had ample time to stop these tickets is disgusting!
We have never used Stubhub and the one interaction we have is when someone hacked our account and they did absolutely nothing about it is horrible.

" Talk about screwing the consumer, in this day and age that our technology is at it's peek in terms of how consumers manage their lives. Having made a purchase recently on April15,2024 for the F1 Race in Miami scheduled May 4,2024. I will admit there was an error on my part where I accidentally purchased a 3 day pass when in fact I was wanting a 1 day pass. I brought this to the attention of Customer Service immediately (3mins after my purchase) to find out, there is nothing we can do all sales are final and it's up to you to try and sell those tickets and hoping get your money back. WHAT A SCAM, in this millennium where technology keeps us in touch globally STUBHUB can't find it within themselves to go into my purchase profile and edit my purchase?. Really?, its evident that this is a MONEY GRAB SCHEME TO **** IN THE CONSUMER. BE AWARE, FIND ALERNATE MEANS OF TICKET PURCHASES FOLKS. This company does not concern itself with it's consumers they take every means possible to not help you in anyway. Bare in mind that I was looking to edit my purchase not a refund of any sort, I end up making a second purchase as this was something my son really wanted to attend for his birthday. So They fished me in twice, I know I'm the sucker in the end, but you should also take into consideration who the fisherman is behind the rod. "DO NOT USE STUBHUB!! They let the seller by with selling the tickets on another platform for 4x the price. The seats were midcourt, 9 rows from the floor. Their poor "replacement seats" were in the corners 15+ rows up. There were actually tickets in the row directly behind my original seats, but they would not offer them to me since the price had gone up since my original purchase. No compensation was offered for taking the corner seats. I either had to accept these corner seats or not be able to attend the event. I spent 4+ hours on the phone dealing with these jokers. They do not stand behind the buyers in a fair way. I'm shutting my account down today. Third time it's happened, and StubHub just does not care."

We almost missed our concert because they only sent us 1 ticket instead of the 2 we purchased. The site is hard to understand and difficult to navigate. "On May 15, 2023, I purchased tickets from StubHub for $158.51 via PayPal for "Celebrating David Bowie - Live in Concert (feat. Peter Murphy & more)", which was scheduled for Monday Oct 16, 2023.
The show was cancelled and StubHub denied my refund. I filed a complaint with PayPal, which was denied on 11/4/23 BECAUSE StubHub told them that it wasn't cancelled, even though I have an email from them confirming it.
StubHub then stated in chat, on the phone, and email that I would receive a FULL REFUND within 3-4 weeks. But they NEVER have refunded me and EVERY TIME I call they tell me that they'll refund me in 3-4 weeks.
I'll NEVER use PAYPAL and NEVER purchase tickets using Stubhub!"

"At great expense, flew to Rose Bowl for football nat'l semi-final game. Tickets were confirmed, but never got the barcodes. They promised by morning of the game. Of course, we get an email hours before kickoff that tickets failed. Their guarantee is alternative tickets. Well system won't let us pick any. We are driving to the game. Eventually we find a way to pick any alternatives. At the stadium, there's of course no cell or wifi. We then get a shocking email from StubHub, here's your refund. They don't sell tickets at the stadium and like all big stadiums there's not cell or wifi. We missed the tailgate as we scrambled to recover. Paid hundreds more for worse seats in the middle of the opponents section. Ruined our trip. Second time I had trouble with them in a couple weeks. Never again. Tons of unnecessary stress and wasted time. They are untrustworthy at best."

"Me and 2 of my friends purchased tickets for the beyonce concert in New Orleans on September the 27 for my birthday. Paid over 400$ in fees. We flew to New Orleans from St. Petersburg Florida. 15 minutes before the show starts I received a email advising our transactions was cancelled. We call stub hub over 20 times everyone we talked to was extremely rude, unprofessional, uneducated on how it works and they all provided different information even the supervisor Pamela employee Id number 2591114. Who no told me she the highest person I can speak with in regards to this. I was on the phone with her for over an hour and she did nothing to try and help us. She would not allow us to buy tickets over the phone or even try to help us locate a ticket. We reprocessed the order 4 more times on 4 different cards online and they were all cancelled. We couldn't even buy tickets from another vendor at this point because they were holding the money. No one was able to tell us why this was happening or try to help us find new tickets. this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company I’ve ever done business with. I am even more hurt that the company is getting away with type of behavior. I’ve taken time off work, paid for a flight, booked a hotel, rented a car all in vein because StubHub was selling tickets they never had, this ruined my 30th birthday and what put the icing on the cake was the costumer service I received, the I don’t care attitude and lack of empathy I got from this company is beyond disgusting and ridiculous. They held my money and told us we would have to wait until day of concert just few hours before the concert which was 2 hrs away to see if we get tickets which they told us at last minute the guy was not releasing them. They lied said they would find us other tickets and give a link to cancel the transaction which they NEVER DID. They wasted my time gas and stress by the LOUSY service they give. "I listed tickets from Ticketmaster on StubHub. They sold quickly. I transferred the tickets as instructed. A day later I was informed the order was cancelled. A few days later I was charged for the full amount of my ticket sale and my tickets were returned. I called StubHub to get it corrected and they refused saying I listed the tickets incorrectly. I followed the only prompts given to me on StubHubs website when I listed. They treated me like a scammer and said they would not refund the charge. I’m now disputing the charge on my credit card. I’ll never use these people again. Don’t list your tickets there. You have no rights once you list them. Totally untrustworthy and dangerous company to work with. "
