Customer service unsatisfactory

"My flight was cancelled hours before it was due to take off, called up and customer service kept refusing to listen to my issue as I calmly explained, instead talking over me. I was placed on hold 3 times waiting to talk to a supervisor, who I never got to speak to. In the end, the employee taking the call hung up on me with no resolution and no new flight booked! I had to then call back when another employee answered and assured me I would be given a full refund guaranteed, yet I haven’t received any written confirmation for this nor the funds back into my account. I am so disappointed and appalled with this company “Student Universe”and the service that their team provide. It seems like a team that is unfortunately used to ripping students off who are already struggling. I hope this review can be taken on board so that service can improve before customers begin to find more reliable third party travel agents!"

“Hi, we are deeply sorry about the inconvenience. It's always frustrating that the airline changes the original flight and puts passengers in another one that doesn't work best for them. And in this case, unfortunately, there were no available alternative flights that met our customer's need. We could rebook the customer with another airline but fare difference would occur as they were not the same airlines. Anyway, we could have done better to assist our customer, and we would learn from this lesson. Our agents tried to call the customer three times to apologize and issued a refund but all went to voicemails. However, we then sent out emails to acknowledge a refund. Feel free to contact us if you have not received the email or any other concerns. We apologize again for any inconvenience caused. ”

Wait for promo code if first time user before completing booking.

"All went to plan. Good site to book on, price better than most. However short changed myself because I completed booking and then realised I had been sent a first user promo-code which would have saved a further 30 bucks of flight if I had used. Oh well, next time! Booking app very user friendly"

No so happy until someone can help me with an issue I had

"I purchased my flight with you for 36 dls I believe or 34dls, well at the end someone charged 103 dls, I call frontier and they said your company did and you said they did, so I'm so disappointed the lady I spoke with told me she was gonna call me back on Friday till now no one has contact me to resolve this issue, I'll make some calls and find out what happened cause is not fare and I'm so disappointed "

“Hi sorry for the confusion. After investigating the case and communicating with the airline, we have confirmed that the fare price should be $36.98 instead of $103 charged by the airline. We will request a refund from the airline as soon as possible.

Update on 6/29: Though the airline over charged our customer, we have refunded the fare difference from our end. Let us know if you do not see the refund after 1-2 billing cycles. Thanks for choosing StudentUniverse. ”

I was banned from the flight

"I paid for a checked bag. The airline said I didn’t pay for it. This lead to arguments which led me to be banned from boarding. Hands down this vacation was a nightmare "
