"I used to live in the Tampa Bay area, became familiar after dealing with online and local vendors. The prices aren't always THE lowest, however competitive. The cost of business being done well often will cost more. All I can say is they've always delivered on time, advertise correctly, especially on Pre-Order, if they don't have it yet, they don't say they do, if they get a bunch of RMA activity such as a board no post enough, they pull the board. Just things of that caliber, and support is always there with either a fix, or a way to contact the company who holds the product for warranty. "

"I thought I placed an order Nov 4, only to call back 3 days later to find out it had disappeared from the system, despite my order being confirmed. Well, OK, just send the stuff now, and I'll just have to tell my customer (I'm a small hobby builder) their computer will be late. Not so fast! First of all, I was told that because there were only 10 Duron 1.3 cpus in stock, they were "really unavailable" so I had to get a 1.2. Next, the rep graciously gave me the cdrom at the low price at which I had ordered it instead of the higher updated price. Seems like a nice gesture, but I should have had it at that price anyway. Next, my HDD was not in stock although according to the site it's available. So I got a 7200 30GB for the same price, which was nice but not what I wanted. Another item was also out of stock, although I was able to order it as well. End result, instead of the mobo I wanted I ended up with another for $16 more. This might not seem like a lot, but when you have to eat the cost out of a slim profit margin it is extremely irritating to think you have something that actually doesn't exist. Not to mention that now delivery is delayed at least 5 days, while waiting for parts to get here over the weekend. I haven't ever had such a problem with TCWO, that's why I keep coming back. After consulting a friend and coming to resellerratings.com to check out the stats on what company would surely offer good business practice and decent pricing on their computer hardware I chose tcwo.com. When I ordered my merchandise, there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that this would be a terrific reseller as their rating was 8.96. However, I found that to be quite ironic after I ordered a computer case from the web site.
I ordered a computer case from the website on 11/02/02 in the evening and received an email confirmation right away: 2002110223214248. At that moment I was quite pleased, thinking that everything would go perfectly as planned. The shipping was only 6.95; I hadn’t seen such a great shipping cost especially from Florida, which was certainly a plus. On Monday 11/04/02 in the afternoon I received an email from them saying that the credit card number and address couldn’t be verified. I knew immediately what was wrong; I had supplied a shipping address different to what my billing address had been for security reasons on my behalf. But after talking to a very nice sales representative named Suzanne and one quick call to the credit card company, everything was solved. An email was sent to me, which was great saying that the order had been processed and would ship within 24 hours. Again, I expected the order and processing to go as previously planned.
Thirty-six hours had passed and I didn’t receive a FEDEX tracking # so I used their online automated FEDEX tracking system hoping to acquire a number from the company. Instead, it said:
“YOUR CASE IS STILL CURRENTLY ON BACK-ORDER.
YOU SHOULD RECEIVE EMAIL NOTIFICATION AUTOMATICALLY WHEN IT SHIPS.
PLEASE CONTACT SUZANNE @ 1-***-***-**** EXT. 112 TO DISCUSS A DIFFERENT CASE OR TO CANCEL THE ORDER AT ANY TIME.”
The first thing I thought was “WHAT?” I went online to see if the item was still there and lord behold, it sure was. And the funny thing is that it says, “Your case is STILL on back-order.” Meaning that they never had it in stock. I called them in two hours after work hoping to resolve the issue and this time I was received by a young man. He said that the case was no longer available. At that moment I thought to myself. Is back-order and no longer available the same thing? I plan to wait on this and keep you posted on how it goes. Surely you wouldn’t want this to happen to you especially when you have a deadline to meet.
My thoughts to the reseller: (also, members who are reading this post, this isn’t the first time this has happened. Scroll down a couple of pages and you might find some similarly disturbing “accidents” as well)
1. PLEASE, PLEASE… keep your online shop UPDATED. The moment an item no longer is in the inventory. Take it off-line. It’s like false advertising if you don’t. Another one, check it on FRIDAY to ensure that there is stock before the weekend.
2. It’ll save you and the customer valuable time. And the customers wouldn’t have to enter their personal information like address and credit card number.
3. Customers would appreciate it greatly and perhaps buy something AGAIN from your shop.
4. And another one, inform the customers yourselves instead of having them have to email you for the information about their order, it keeps the customer aware that you are a great company that holds the value of the customer as your number #1 priority.
Although I am not infuriated, I am somewhat displeased. I was expecting my item to be shipped and processed like it had stated on their website policy and on the email confirmation-within 24 hours. BUT it didn’t happen. I will keep you, readers updated on this.

Well, they contacted me and I'm glad to hear that. Though they have claimed to have sent me the package I am still waiting for the tracking number. I'll keep you updated on this. So far so good.

Now, the good: The prices were outstanding. Packaging of my order was first rate and all but one item arrived very fast. I was a bit confused on the status of one item, so I called TCWO. Short wait on hold, I talked to a very courteous, knowledgeable sales rep who took the time to help me out. First rate service there. Also, the flat-rate shipping is great! The back-ordered item was a computer case and TCWO got stock on this item a day later, shipped it out via upgraded shipping at no charge! TCWO may need a little work on the wording in their confirmation emails, but they excel at taking care of their customers. I'll definitely order from them again."
