When I never received notification that the order was ready to pick up, I called your customer service number and was told that the order had been cancelled because Talbots did not have a certifiable email address for me, which is very odd since the order confirmation plus dozens of promotional ads from Talbots were sent to my email and the original order confirmation The customer service rep suggested that I must have used a third party site to place the order, which was not the case, and that it was my fault. She reordered the scarf at the promotional price, but refused to honor the extra $10 off from my original order because she said that promotion was not longer active even though I offered to provide the original order confirmation from eTalbots.com which clearly showed the price I paid for the order that was mysteriously cancelled."
"The phone representative was very polite but one thing I was disappointed in the representative for not offering exceptional customer service and making the situation right by replacing; the item free of charge since (it was not my fault) that your carrier delivered the item to someone at the wrong address.
