"Black Friday promotion. Called 800#, got sales person, said was next on call, then said 10 ahead of me so put on the call back list. Two plus hours later and hadn’t received a call. Called customer service and asked to speak with a person. She was very nice. Initial call was placed 7-8 AM, I called 10:00 or so, promotion went until noon. Feel I got mixed messages."
"The folks from Philippines, Dominican Republic, Belize and other countries do not speak good English - have chickens and children in the background so not focused on order which have been incorrect over and over - I order 1 and receive 3 or the wrong product and when ask to look in catalogs they don’t have one ….Miss the old Talbots customer service …"
"Talbots is the primary store for clothes for me other than underwear, shoes, sneakers and 1 style of elastic waist, baggy pants from Lands’ End. That being said, I have been extremely dissatisfied with the material in your sweaters for the last two years. I have returned several sweaters I have worn once or twice. A pill and they look old after the first wearing. I am short and fuller, figured and love the charming cardigan collections. They look worn and old after one or two times of wear. God knows what will happen when they are washed. Same with the 1/2 zips and pullovers - distressing! I spend thousands of dollars and Talbots a year and have not bought several sweaters and tops because of the fabric composition. Just yesterday I bought two cable knit cardigans at Lands End because they were almost completely cotton and I can tell they will not pill. I would love to speak with someone in management. "After shopping with Talbots for over 35 years, I am rethinking using my Talbots credit card again. I do shop more than I should, but your records will reveal, I pay my bill! The issue had to do with information online indicating sale prices. The first associate told me that was not my fault and I should call customer service and the prices would be adjusted. After reaching the third associate and an hour later on the phone, he advised me that I had three profiles on my account. More than five years ago, One of my store managers attempted to get my daughters and cousins name off of my account. I have also asked that those names be removed. Neither of them are Talbots shoppers. After assuring the last online associate , that the account was mine, he adjusted two of the three items I was ordering and then said he could not do otherwise. After all of that conversation, four days later when I went to the store to return a tee shirt that was too large, when the store associate"
