"Ordered a 3M keyboard pad from them. They were one of the only companies I could find that sold the product. The ordered was placed monday and product recieved friday using standard shipping.
All in all, I have no real complaints. The product seemed to be shipped quickly and everything is as described. I expect I'd use them again."

Email support never wrote back. Both of my 'split' shipments came before their web site even listed any tracking information. The nerds never suggested that my two item order would come in two shipments, and with no web site order update, no tracking numbers, my first shipment stated " Complete receipt acknowledged. "
Again, my emails were never answered.
Will will shop elsewhere in the future. It's not worth a couple bucks for the nerds service.

The customer representative for the company claims that it is buyer's problem if the website does not provide the correct information. They said, "The website is not like a real live sale person. "I submitted an order on Monday and received the item on Wednesday before 11:00. This was using regular UPS ground. The item came neatly packaged and undamaged. The shipping cost was a little high. However the price was way below retail. I don't mind spening extra for shipping when the company ships the item out the same day. I will buy from thenerds.net again."
"After searching the net for the best price for Wacom Intuos2 Tablet, I easily found TheNerds.net. I quicly found the product on their website, with real-time poduct availability posted with the product information.
I quickly placed my order via their website and went I my way. Shortly I after, I reviewed my order confirmation email that was sent to me, only to realize that I selected the incorrect shipping method, as well as the incorrect product.
I quickly and easily got the phone number for TheNerds.net from there website and called their customer service. I was quickly connected to someone, to whom I explained my problem. He quicly said, "No problem, I will just cancel that order and refund your credit card." I said, "Ok."
I told him I wanted to replace my order, and he suggested that it was best for me to do so via the website, as I would be better able to track the order.
I went back tot he website, placed my order again, this time for the correct prodcut and with the correct shipping method. Everything was great.
I receive my order promptly and on time, and my credit card showed the refund the next day.

30 day clock starts on invoice date, not date you receive; customer service doesn't follow through by dates promised for RMA or status info.
Ordered camera on 10/3, received 10/8, item placed in service 10/24 (birthday gift), failed 10/31 (a Friday). Camera came with "don't conact retailer" sheet in box, so I tried to reach the manufacturer (Casio) but they were closed fro the weekend. On Monday 11/3 Casio said "fastest if you return through retailer" so I used TheNerds website to request RMA, was told "more than 30 days" so contact Customer Service. Human said he needed 7 business days to "try and get you an exception RMA" but hadn't responded by the 9th business day. I contacted them again, was told they had a "warehouse power failure" which meant no response until next Monday.
I gave up, returned item direct to manufacturer for warranty. "

"I ordered a SONY PEG-SJ33 PDA on Wed, and was told that would be shipped out on the same day. I received a order confirmation through email immediately after the order was placed. I waited a day but still did not receive the tracking info and either UPS or thenerds. I call thenerds and was told by them that the package was shipped out last night and should be arrived today. They also provided me the tracking number by phone. When I came home, I did find my sony PDA arrived. Item was shipped out from PA instead of FL. It is just like overnight shipping. Amazing process. I am very happy with my perchase experience with thenerds. The only thing I would complain is that they should manage and improve their process of providing the tracking info more accurately. There might be a discountion somewhere in this process."
"I ordered a "cheap" digital camera from TheNerds.net. The price was great, and the shipping cost was, in my opinion, extravagant, everything else is what you'd expect from a online merchant.
The price for the camera and shipping was identical to that advertised on pricegrabber.com. The website itself is easy to navigate, reasonably fast, albeit not at all informative. The camera I bought had no photo(!), no specs, no requirements, and no manufacturer link on it's product page at TheNerds.net (fortunately I had done my homework before hand).
TheNerds.net requires you to create an account with them in order to purchase anything -- a practice I thoroughly dislike.
After I finished my order, I immediately received the messages that congratulated me for creating an account (grrrrr) and indicated that my order had been received. Twenty-four hours later, I received the tracking number for my order.
The package arrived in good shape, and the packing was okay. TheNerds.net used a plastic#4 packing material, so I can thankfully recycle it using the taxpayer paid curbside recycling service. This is light years better than styrofoam peanuts.
All in all, the ordering experience was okay. Not stellar, but hardly dismal. "
"I've made three purchaises through this vendor and all went without a hitch. My lattest was the Nikon Coolpix 5700. After getting jacked around by several vendors that offer a rock bottom price but will only ship the unit if you buy a bunch of inflated priced extras, It was a very refreshing to deal with these guys. The price listed is before the mail in rebate (unlike most vendors that advertise a price after the rebate) which would lead folks to think the camera is more than with it actually costs. I ordered the camera on a Thursday and got no high pressure sells pitch for extras. I bought an extra battery for about 1/3 of the price that most other vendors were asking. I recieved the camera the following Monday and all is fine with the product. The shipping is a little pricey but at least they are upfront with it and the total cost, including the shipping is very competitive. I will definitely buy from them again."
"Bought a Acer TM800LCi, a $2600 notebook. Got a call the next day saying that the credit card company refused the charge, so i had to confirm that i did pay for it with the credit card company. Only problem i had was that i received tracking info the day that it arrived. (2 day shipping) All-in all, not a bad experience will think about buying from them again."

"We had the same experience as SKYRAT23. We also ordered the GA-8INXP and received confirmation they received our order AND PROMPTLY CHARGED OUR CREDIT CARD. Then two days later, we receive an e-mail stating it is out of stock and we have to WAIT FOR A REFUND! We checked our account the next day after receiving notification that the order had been cancelled due to being out of stock and the pending charge had been dropped. Then, two days after receiving the cancellation notice, we checked our account and the funds had been taken from our account. If they waited to charge our credit card until AFTER they check stock on it and ship the product, this would not be an issue. I guess they don't mind losing valuable customers."
