Failed to deliver

"On 8/29/18 I placed an order with them for a vacuum packaging machine and some bags. Before placing order I contacted company and was assured items were in stock. When package arrived I only received bags, no machine. I immediately contacted company and was told machine was in the shipping dept. now being packaged for transit and that I should receive shipping confirmation on 8/31/18. I never received shipping confirmation but instead receive email on 9/1/18 stating item was out of stock with no date of when they expect to item back in stock. Mind you the company charged my credit card for the entire amount of the order. I contacted customer support to ask what happened. I was told at time of my order item was in stock at Georgia location but due to logistics my order was routed to Nevada warehouse which did not have item. I can request item to be shipped from Georgia location but it would take another 10 days or so to complete. I asked why was I told inaccurate information and why was my order not routed to warehouse that actually had product. I was told they have no control of logistics and had no answer for why I was given incorrect information. I canceled order and was assured a credit would be issued in 48hrs to my account. It has now been 4 days and no credit has been issued. I contacted customer service on 9/6/18 and was told they do not see credit being issued and will research and get back to me. I do give them credit for having the chat feature on there site but the information provided at times was less then accurate. Be wary of their warehouse issues and don't trust their webstore to provide accurate information about what is available.

Update, I received email from customer service today 9/6/18, that in fact no credit had been issued as previously stated by customer service. The new representative did state that he process the credit and it should appear on my card in the next 1-3 days. I would like to believe him but the companies track record so far has been less then stellar when it comes to telling the truth.

Avoid doing business with this company

"In addition to sending me melted chocolate twice/incorrect order once, they wanted me to pay extra for shipping being that in the summer months "they have a problem with chocolate melting in transit." Ratheebthan seeking to package correctly with ample ice packs, they would rather seek additional funds from small companies. No thanks. I'll take my business to a company that values the overall customer experience; I recommend you do the same."

NOT UP FRONT WITH SALES INFORMATION

"We contacted them in June 2018 regarding the purchase of a commercial variable speed immersion blender. This was rated as a Heavy Duty Immersion Blender. We purchased the blender and told them what it would be used for, as well as where we are located - in Canada, could they ship to Canada without any problems. They confirmed no problem at all, and we received the blender within a week. We used the blender to blend fresh fruit and sugar into milk and cream. The blender quit working on August 30, 2018. When we contacted them about this issue, they advised there was no warranty for goods shipped and used in Canada, and thus they would do nothing. I said we were not aware of this policy, and they indicated where this fine print was. Yes, we did not notice this when purchasing the item, but they should also make everyone aware of the warranty issues when anything is shipped into Canada, and not just leave it to the fine print at the bottom of the document. We will definitely not purchase another thing from this company and will let other people know about their poor business practice as well. If they want to sell and are willing to ship to another country then they should be prepared to offer the same warranty that they do in the United States. You have a very bold lettering at the top of the web page indicating we ship into Canada---perhaps you should also add the no warranty comment as well!"

“Hello, thank you for your review. We do our best to offer the lowest prices possible per item. One way we do that is to not include the shipping cost into the prices of our products. As a result, we do have to charge the full shipping cost on each of our orders. It is our hope that we offer a low enough price on our items to still offer a competitive total price, even with the shipping cost included.”

Horrible does not even begin to describe how awful this company is.

"Horrible does not even begin to describe how awful this company is. I wouldn’t order a set of paper plates from Webstaurants. Trust me, they would get it wrong. Once they drop shipped (look up drop shipping). Take your money elsewhere trust me this company is horrible. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had my life. The customer service rep, if you can call them that, told me that it wasn’t their business model to return a defective item I received broken from minute one. I bought an expensive vacuum sealer from this company and I had it for no less than an hour and it was malfunctioning. Webstaurants wouldn’t return the item and refund my money, instead they referred me to the manufacture for a warranty claim. I didn’t even have the unit long enough to have the pleasure to have broken it myself. I would not give this company a dollar of your money. Run in the opposite direction and find a reputable company to deal with."

Terrible return policy

"I bought a portable stove. It didn't work as perform. Very plain reason to return it. When I contacted them, they said they can't take back a used item.
Why would I want to return it if I haven't tested it?
Terrible return policy. Be VERY sure of what you are buying, as you won't be able to return it.
