"I inquired about the compatibility of what I wanted to order vs what I was replacing. After 3 days of hearing how sometimes the manufacturer is hard to get ahold of, I get an email with the companies contact info. So I call the company and have my answer within 1 minute. Not that i mind doing it myself, but when you're told repeatedly theyre waiting on info from manufacturer then just give you the info to call yourself it gets annoying. After I have the info needed to make a purchase, I tried to place an order. Well, long story short, after failing 5 times I hear from customer support that I needed to download Google Chrome to make it work. Having a phone number to call and talk with a human being is flat out a thing of the past. Not taking orders over the phone is ridiculous. "Oh the website is giving you trouble ordering? Call us, well tell you what we think went wrong, and then send you back to the internet to finish the job." Customer service does not appear to be the strong suite here."

Norlake Cooler

"I bought a Norlake walk in cooler and one of the panels did not have the right size connector.
When I told Webstaurant about it they said to call Norlake.
Norlake talked to me like I was lying to them and my installer must be mistaken.
They we very amateurish and really did not care.
I will NEVER buy another Norlake product...they think there products are so great that nothing could be there fault.

BE AWARE...they do not care after you bought one of there products.

slow at resolving shipment issue in my case

"i recieved a poorly shipped perishable shipment with 200 worth of meat that had to be thrown out.i recieved 50.00 refund.will be video taping any future bad shipments. they dont ship meat with dry ice and styrofoam insulation.mine had melted gel packs for a 2 day fedex shipment. 5.00 worth of dry ice would have solved this issue."

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE

"VERY POOR SERVICE AND WARRANTY ON THEIR PRODUCTS , MY PRODUCT WAS DAMAGE WITH A BIG DENT,
I SEND THEM PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE AND THE ONLY THING THEY SAID THAT -THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO -
THE PRODUCT IS NEW AND HAS NOT BEEN USE AT ALL STILL IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE.

THEY ARGUED THAT ACCORDING TO THEIR POLICIES IT HAS TO REPORTED WITHIN 5 DAYS , BUT I HAVENOT OPENED THE PACKAGE BECAUSE I WAS BUILDING THE COUNTER.

REALLY , IS THAT THE WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER?

When a shipment arrives common carrier, damages must be noted during the delivery before signing the Proof of Delivery. Writing down Subject to inspection or not checked will not count as noted damage when we pursue compensation from the carrier on your behalf. Shipping is expensive

"I just ordered a few serving supplies, foil (which I know is heavy) and then a bunch of boxes, some toilet paper, a pizza pan stand and pizza screens. All totaled it was 371.54. Shipping was over $68. That seems like a lot to me. "

Horrible Customer Service

"My company purchased a dispenser for our bathroom. On WebstaurantStore's website, the description said that the item would arrive calibrated for the "Free" option but would be able to be converted to any coin denomination in the field without any additional equipment. When we got the item, this was not the case. It did not come with a coin box and the bezel assembly did not come with coin return push buttons. I called customer service several times and everyone I spoke with agreed that the website description was misleading. They then said they needed to check with the manufacturer and get back to me. When they got back to me, they said they were unable to send us a new product or give us a refund for this issue. Bottom line: horrible customer service, misleading information on their website. I would not order from them again!"

Poor customer service/ buy somewhere else

"I bought a commercial refrigerator that came damaged so I had to refuse the delivery. I notified them immediately so that my replacement could hurry up and ship as I desperately needed it!! They assured me it would ship the following day. Now it has been 10 days and my replacement still has not shipped yet each day they tell me they will expedite it. The worst customer service EVER! "

Bad experience with WebrestaurantStore

"I ordered cups from WebrestaurantStore. It was my first purchase with them and will be my last.
There was no indication during the order process that they would require a signature for delivery. We aren't in the office past noon during the summer, hence our order was delayed for weeks. I tried numerous emails and online chats to customer (dis) service. They were absolutely no help. I made numerous phone calls to Fed Ex. Fed Ex blamed the seller, WebrestaurantStore blamed Fed Ex. It was a fiasco. I ended up going to Costco for cups instead. More than two weeks after the cups were due, I had to driver over to FedEx to pick the shipment up. The box was a torn up mess.
If they had simply told me in advance that a signature was required for delivery, this drawn out problem and terrible customer service experience could have been avoided. After talking to several of their Customer (dis) Service folks, it didn't seem to me that anyone was at all interested in actually helping to solve what should have been a simple problem.
