"I ordered 36 mugs from this "store." They came 3 boxes of 12, packed into one large box. The top and bottom boxes of mugs were the cushion for the middle box the way they were packed. Lots of broken mugs. One layer of air pillows around the outside was, shall we say, insufficient.
Moreover FedEx and this "retailer" have an agreement where FedEx is not responsible for damage in shipping. You have to work with the store for claims. You can see by their customer service ratings what to expect. From the FedEx website when filing a claim," FedEx records indicate this shipper has a claims handling agreement with FedEx. Please contact the shipper for further information."
I do not recommend not buying anything requiring competence when shipping from the Webstaurant Store. If you buy unbreakables from this joint, you may be ok.

"I work in an event company and I've had great experiences on small order but when its over $2,500 it's bad bad bad. The carrier they use to send packages lost tracking of one of my pallet. Got in contact with them as soon after waiting for 6 business day and they just couldn't give me any information on my package. They had me in an on going cycle with, " Will have information at 10am then at 10pm for the next 3 days. Event day came and I had to go out scrambling and over spending what I had not budget on just to make my party work. And of course day after event items get deliver! I spoke with one of their representatives and I didn't tell them that I had refused the package and they still were trying to get in contact with the carrier to look for my pallet. Right after I told them that I needed refund and now I still have to pay a 20% restocking fee and no refund on shipment fee AFTER ALL THE INCONVENIENCE. It is obscene! "

"I purchased a locked cabinet to lock our MacBooks and iPads in and it was too small. They have no exchange process and they charge a 30% restocking fee for returns. The cabinet was $114.99, I paid $21.33 for shipping so total of $136.32. If I want to exchange it for a larger cabinet, I have to return the item first and pay for shipping another $21.33, they will charge a 30% restocking fee so my refund would only be $80.50 so I would have spent $157.65 and they would be returning $80.50, and then I would need to purchase a larger cabinet and pay for shipping again..............not a company I want to continue to do business with. "

"Ordered medium clam shells ,, they delivered large shells, contact made and wanted what I ordered, so they tell me take pictures of the product they sent, I did this, many conversations with them through emails ,,, then they send me an email that I received what I ordered, I sent them the confirmation email they sent me, I ordered medium shells,, clearly the box says large on 3 sides in big letters,, they tell me also that to send them back I would have to pay20% restocking fee for their blatant screwup of this.. I say to them" what? I gotta pay you 20% for you not sending me the right ones??"
