"Been using webstaurantstore containers over 1 year. They have not let me down with pricing or shipping, except for the fact that now California residents get taxed and also prices fluctuate a bit but all in all I'm happy with these containers. "

NO REAL RETURNS

"I placed an order for some things I needed for a party. The items normally get to me within the week, so I placed the order on Monday and found out the shipment wouldn't get to me for two weeks. I explained to the company. Asked if I can return the items. They said, sure, but we will charge you 20% plus return shipping. I responded, "So, in other words, you make it so expensive for someone to make a return that they simply can't return items. Nice". I won't order from them again. Of the several orders I've placed with them over the past three years, both times I've needed to return something, they have come up with a way to keep me from returning items. The first time they just flat-out said I couldn't return the items. I had ordered cases of baking soda when I meant to order cases of baking powder. I asked if I could refuse the shipment and have them exchange the order out for the correct item (happy to pay the additional shipping) and they said no. They wouldn't exchange it for me. I hope this review keeps enough people from ordering that they will change their policies."

The reason we charge a restocking fee is because we want to continue to keep prices as low as possible for you. When an item is returned, there are additional costs associated with processing the return. Companies that do not charge restocking fees pass the costs of their Returns Department onto their customers through higher priced items. Instead of raising our prices and charging every customer for frivolous returns costs, we only charge a restocking fee for items that are a standard return. "Shipping is so costly we try not to order from Webstaurant if we can help it. Also anytime I have had a question about an order or product it seems the customer is not always priority."

Needs improvement for accessibliity

"Many sites have a skip navigation link at the top for users with screen reading programs. This allows us to quickly read through and find more easily find items on. The site without haeing reading through all the choices every time we access the site."
