I love the dress however the site does not always state the color or material. I thought the lace dress was beautiful, but it looked more blue/grey in photo and when I got it it was plain gray, which is not flattering on me. The top I received was nice."

"When I first started to send to ThreadUp, I thought I received a good amount of money for three bags I sent in and was very happy with my payouts. When I sent in my fourth bag which had my best accessories, clothes, and shoes (Cole Haan, Ralph Lauren Black Collection, Tahari, and others) the MSRP was about $2,000. I received my email telling me my bag was complete and found out I got $120.00. OUCH. They rejected so many items telling me the clothes were dirty or messed up. I inspected and kept track of everything I sent in to them. There were missing items that they claimed they never received and basically stole them from me. I emailed back and fourth with customer service to get my unwanted items back. And noticed they put 2 of my items on consignment with my fourth bag. Many of the things they paid me up front they would of in the past put up for consignment.I thought I could trust ThreadUp from my past experience and not get the insurance or whatever. I honestly think that the employees take clothes that are "soiled" even though they have tags on them and been inspected by me. Too bad because I was really happy with the service before. Shady stuff going on there now. Anyone have recommendations on a resale website?"

"I have been a very satisfied customer for we'll over a year - both selling AND purchasing items on almost a monthly basis. My satisfaction ended with the last "bag" I sent in. I'm well aware that in retrospect I should have opted in for the "return unwanted items" option but quite frankly in the past you have taken say 95% of what I have sent in PLUS I was at the point of feeling very comfortable with your selection procedure and moreover trusted you as a company. Well in the last batch was an Italian Alberta Ferrretti skirt in mint condition I might add that apparently fell in the "not wanted" category - which is a tad suspect considering it retailed for almost 600 - was a size 8 (American ) which is what sells most and was trendy and contemporary - I think it was worn maybe once - anyway when I called to inquire I was told that the depth that sorts and selects the items from bags submitted was seperate from the customer service department - and that there wasn't any way to communicate with them regarding my issue. I was at a loss for words - someone just snagged a very nice piece of clothing on my dime and I didnt have anyone I could speak to regarding this - I had another bag ready to ship which I've sent to another online consignment shop as a result - but honestly word of mouth and social media speak louder and until this issue is resolved to my satisfaction I am letting all those people I once recommend you to that this is not a good company to deal with!"
