"Shady businesss and support practices. They kept quoting Covid for reason why they cannot refund but promote events during Covid. I purchased 2 tickets from Paleyfest that was supposed to happen during March of 2020 but the event was cancelled due to Covid. I received an email on August 20, 2020 notice for a store credit and no mentioned of refunds. Credit is useless for me. I called Tickets Center customer support. I explained there are no other events I want to go to and also because of Covid public events are dangerous. I requested a refund but I was quoted scripted company policy for no refunds. These tickets cost me $400 each which is now making it difficult for me as well. I had a live Chat with Julio and he stated there was a "7 days notice of refund" and since I never responded, it automatically went to store credit. That notice is non existent. I want my total refund of $800 and if possible an apology letter from the company. Also asked for a chat transcript and they mentioned once chat is closed it's not possible.
No customer retention to amend their refund policy in situations like this. Was even opened to negotiate refund fees to be fair to them and customer but no, they kept quoting policy like robots."
"Had a cancellation and had great service getting another ticket worked out

" We purchased tickets in December of 2019 for an event that was canceled due to Covid in April 2020. I was given a voucher that I could use through November 2021. Due to my friend having gotten Covid on Christmas day we are now unable to use the voucher at all. He is now a long hauler because Covid has affected his brain. We are both in our 80s and I do not drive far anymore. When I called and explained this to tickets center they absolutely refused to return any money to us. They said we could have taken out insurance when we purchased the ticket. Were we really supposed to know that Covid was going to hit? I’m sure we are not the only people that this is happened to but I think it’s really lousy of them if you have a definite health issue from this virus that they won’t even consider giving you a full refund or a partial refund. I Will never ever deal with this company again. "
"You guys are a fraudulent!!"
"My sister purchased two tickets to Chicago: The Muscial for my for Christmas in 2019 for the show on March 31, 2020. With the pandemic the show was cancelled and they sent her an email saying “The event below has been cancelled and will no longer take place :
Chicago - The Musical CANCELLED (Tue. Mar 31, 2020 7:30pm
Order #(blahblahblah)
Event cancellations are determined by the team, venue, performer, and/or promoter, typically due to unforeseen circumstances.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for the refund to appear back in your account. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.” So we waited until April 26, 2020 to email them about the refund because we still haven’t received it. No response. My sister called numerous times and the last time she finally got ahold of someone and they told her that there will still be a refund they just can’t tell her when. Months and months of calling after that with never getting ahold of anyone or telling her the exact same thing. She emailed them on September 25, 2020 and no response. Fast forward to today (January 16, 2021), I got all the information and screenshots from my sister and I decided to call myself. I called four times and didn’t get connected to someone until the fourth call when they sent me a link to a live chat online. Wouldn’t give me the option of speaking to someone in the phone. I spent 20 minutes messaging a representative about the refund just for them to tell me they can no longer issue a refund but can only do store credit. I asked if there was an expiry date on the store credit and yes, in fact there is, for Nov. 20, 2021. I asked what would happen if the lockdowns are still going on then like would they extend it. Nope. Can’t extend it and can’t get a refund. I looked on their website and there’s no shows in my area that I’m interested in. There goes that money."
"I had the best experience, they were really kind"
"On March 13th, 2020 I was sent an email stating the following: Manee,
The event below has been canceled and will no longer take place:
Spring Training - Chicago Cubs at Chicago White Sox CANCELLED (Fri. Mar 13, 2020 1:05 PM)
Order #******

4 weeks later, I called and was still promised a refund, but was told that it was just delayed because of all of the people that needed to get their refunds.
To all of the people who have received the same promises, lets stick together and determine whether we can take legal action for this fraud committed. I will never use this site again! First and last time!
I didn't have this issue with Vivid, and they are also a 3rd party vendor."
"They ripped me off for the 2020 Big Ten Wrestling Championships @ Rutgers University. I bought two tickets for the night of the semi-finals. When I arrived, the person scanned my tickets and I was told they were invalid. I went to the ticket window and was told my tickets were “reprinted” prior to the event and AFTER they were sold to me which invalidated my tickets. I was never informed of this or refunded. I had to dispute with Amex who thankfully understood and took my side and refunded me my money. NEVER USE THIS SITE. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. "
"I purchased tickets for a concert back in March of 2020 from this site. The concert was then cancelled by the Covid pandemic. I tried to get a refund for this purchase but was told that they couldn't give me a refund because it would ruin their business. I was told I could receive a credit that was good for 1 year. With the pandemic having no end in site, I tried multiple times to contact them to get my refund but no one has contacted me back for months. This company should be investigated for fraud because of the way they do business. I will never use this company again for any service and I would never recommend them to anyone."
"The first time I called I was transferred three times and no one was willing to help. Finally, an agent named Jason worked on my issue. Because of cancelled games, I had 2 credits codes from ticket center. I was told by Jason to call back the next day and I could use both credits. I wanted to purchase 2 tickets for the Kansas City Chief vs. Las Vegas Raiders game on Sunday October 11th. So, I called back as Jason told me but the person I spoke with refused to let me use the 2 credits, even though I was told the previous day that they would honor the 2 credits. So, I ended up buying the tickets for an extra $700 and I still have $181 left in credits. It makes no sense to me. I keep having to pay more money and I cannot use all my credits? "Concert canceled and won’t give back money. Said too bad, and that no one else I could talk to and no one would call me back about getting refund"
"I purchased tickets for a show in Nashville,TN called C'Ya on the Flipside. The purchase went smoothly, however, when they sent me email confirmation I received warnings from Google not to open up the site. I immediately called customer service informing them of the warning and they said there was nothing they could do and the tickets were nonrefundable. I sent them photos and documentation of the warning. Before the event, again they sent an email with online tickets. Google warned me not to open the sight stating they could not confirm the source. Again, I called the Ticket Center. They did not offer options for mailing the tickets and were quite rude. We ended up purchasing the same tickets through Ticket Master. I disputed the charge and unfortunately, due to the fact they were nonrefundable, I ended up being out $224.75. I called customer service again and talked to them about the non-ethical business practice they were exhibiting. I asked her if she had received warnings in her email from Google or whomever, informing her not to open up that site, would she? She responded no. "
"I purchased Hamilton tickets and originally was told I would receive a full refund. Instead they gave me a credit, to which my 2nd venue is now canceled too. I want a full refund!"
"We purchased tickets to an XFL game that was cancelled because of the Pandemic, Purchase was made on Feb 9 for event on March 29. When cancelled, I expected to get a refund. In May finally got email from ticket center telling me they were not refunding but giving store credit for a future event. Told them it was not acceptable and I wanted a full refund. They ignored this. Filed a dispute with the credit card company(AMX). THought they would side with me but they did not. Again contacted Ticket Center telling them I needed a full refund, that so called store credit was not acceptable. They refused with some BS about the upheaval caused by the pandemic and that the government said they could not give refunds. Finally filed a complaint with the BBB. Documented my complaint with the facts and the last email from Ticket Center. Today, July 31 the full refund hit my credit card. Thanks you BBB."
"I will never use this site again. My event was cancelled due to COVID 19 and instead of issuing a refund they sent me vouchers without any other options. I can't use the vouchers and have asked for a refund in which they continue to refuse. I now have to seek legal help to get my money back. I would avoid using this site especially if your event is subject to cancellation.
I would be embarrassed to work for this company."
