Tickets-Center.com are crooks!

"I bought tickets to the Newport Folks Festival for over 3 times face value. The festival was cancelled but Tickets-center refuses to refund my money instead offering a "store credit". They claim that the sellers of the tickets that they resell are not getting refunds which is not true. The Newport Folk Fesival is refunding all monies to ticket buyers. I do not want a store credit, I want my credit card charge refunded. Impossible to contact anyone at Tickets-Center. They are crooks!!!!!!!!!"

Pandemic policy change completely unfair

"Like many others I'm seeing leaving reviews, the summer event I purchased tickets for several months ago has been cancelled due to the pandemic. I spent nearly $500 on tickets for my family to attend an event. Due to sudden changes in policies, I am apparently out that money. I understand that businesses are being hit by this, but so are individuals. That money could have gone a long way while my work is closed and quite frankly booking tickets for another event right now is not on my radar. Since receiving the email notifying my that I now have a "coupon" which will one day expire for the value of my purchase plus ten percent, I have no intentions of ever purchasing from this company again. Maybe that was their intention, since now they have my money regardless of whether I return as a customer, and I have nothing more than a slimy email from them. If 0 stars was an option, I would have given 0 stars. "

"My story is exactly the same as everyone else's story. Does anyone even know when the "coupon" expires?? I am going to pursue this as well. This has to be illegal. Please contact me if anyone finds out anything further. I am going to talk to a lawyer. ****@****

Horrible

"I bought tickets to a concert that got cancelled due to COVID-19, and I simply asked that I would receive a FULL REFUND. Little did I know, they recently changed their return policy, and i believe this was used to save their **** from refunding hundreds of dollars back to their costumers. This is unjust and unfair to those who want their money back. Nobody is going to want to spend store credit, especially during this time, since we wont have events happening until the start of next year or so.
Please submit a complaint to BBB, as I already did. We deserve our money back!

Do not trust this company!

"Bought my tickets in December and purchased the insurance as well. The concert scheduled in March was then cancelled. Initially got an email, response to my inquiry regarding my refund, stating I would receive a full refund in 2-4wks. Then heard nothing else from them until I emailed them again over 4wks later. At that time I was informed they would give me a store credit instead of a refund! I do not want or need a store credit! I am frustrated beyond words. Currently exploring my legal options."

Sneaky...scam

"Purchased tickets back in Jan.
Event was cancelled due to COVID
I emailed and they said they would refund in 2-4 weeks.
They then changed their cancel policy March 20
Disputing with my credit card company.
Not good business practices.
I do have a copy of the cancellation policy when I purchased.

Thieves

"My event was also canceled due to the Covid pandemic. Approximately 10 days ago I searched the refund policy in the event of a cancellation and it clearly stated that in this event, money would be refunded. This bookmarked page now points to a completely different area that makes no mention of concert cancellations and they have changed their terms and policies effective May 19, 8 months after the purchase of my tickets. I will report them to the American Express fraud and potentially look towards obtaining copies of the terms and policies that existed when I completed my sale through legal channels. The customers are also suffering financially because of this pandemic."

Wish I could give 0 stars

"I am not being offered a full refund for my ticket purchase for an event that was cancelled due to COVID. Instead, I am being offered store credit. Which is ridiculous because events are not even up and running right now. This is a horrible business move and I have already filed a complaint with the BBB. I am also not afraid to go to press with this story. It is ridiculous that while we are struggling financially, we have to worry about not getting this money sent back to us. I want to know where my $518 has gone. "

Worst refund pilicy

"Like many other people my event was canceled due to covid. The company told me a refund would take several weeks. Today I got the email stating their “new” policy is for credit only and we can not get money back. I reported them to BBB and I hope everyone else does so we can get a class action suit started. "

Should be more like ZERO stars!!!

"Our event was cancelled do to Covid-19. I was advised in email March 17, 2020 from Tickets-center that i would receive a full refund in 2-4 weeks since my event was cancelled! I have contacted them via phone, live chat & email over 2 months since then & was advised I will get it, it is just taking longer than normal. On May 20, 2020 I received an email stating they changed their policy that I would only receive a store credit! This is not acceptable. This is a large amount of money that is needed and after what they have done, I will never buy through them ever again! I have filed a formal complaint with BBB, so hopefully I will receive my money! "

Never Again.

"Everything was fine until my event was cancelled. I sat on hold for over 3 hours.... no joke... 3 hours 28 minutes to be exact. I did this twice and each time I spoke to the same person who assured me I would receive a refund, however, the process would take 2-4 weeks. It's now been 6 weeks and still no refund. This company is awful. The person who answers the phone is a liar. Do not purchase event tickets from Tickets-Center.com. I never will again, big mistake. I'm out over $400 now. Look this company up on Google... many similar stories."

Shady business practice

"Bought spring training and concert tickets as birthday gifts for my father. Both events were concealed. Requested a refund back in March, and was told they’re working on it. Now today we get an email that they’re only offering a store credit (WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE). Who knows when concerts/games with attendees will even start up again, and even when they do, I’m going to send my 62 year old father to a gathering of tens of thousands of people???? No way! We deserve better! You can be certain that I’m going to fight this, and even more certain that I will never do business with this despicable company again. "
