Refund policy, bait and switch

"REFUND ISSUE
I don't normally buy tickets on line thru PayPal but did in this case. The event was cancelled due to COVID 19 over a minth ago. The company took weeks to respond to refund request. Just received an email tonight saying the policy was changed because of COVID and we now get a coupon. When we purchased the tickets it said full monetary refund if event is cancelled for ANY reason. They need to honor the policy on date of ticket purchase, not a rewritten one after the fact. Everyone is suffering because of the shut downs, get in line ticket center, at least have the decency to stand by your customers. I don't want a store credit, I want a refund. Do not buy anything from this company. Im hoping for a class action law suit in the future.

What’s Less Than One Star

"Unfortunately I had to give them one star to complete this. They have reneged on their promise to refund my money after the event was cancelled. They started out by promising me a full refund within a month. Now 3 months later they are telling me to go and **** against the wind. Big Mistake doing business with them. There are other reliable and honorable options."

COVID-19 AND Tickers-Center

"I purchased tickets for Adam Sandler in February, received an email on March 16th, 2020 stating my event was cancelled and I would receive a refund in 4-6 weeks. I contacted them via phone and chat at least 6 times after 8 weeks of no refund with the same response. “Due to legal complications from COVID-19, the refund will take longer” I even had a customer service rep tell me they would “personally track my refund.” I then received an email tonight stating i will receive STORE CREDIT for $715 worth of tickets. I gave this company my money, never received anything for that money and now they “change their refund policy due to UNFORESEEN circumstances regarding the virus.” This was unforeseen to people WHO NEED THEIR MONEY BACK AND HAVE FALLEN ON HARD TIMES DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. This is robbery. I want to know where my money went and why I can’t get it back. How can a company do this to so many people during such hard times. I hope a lawsuit brings this company to its knees and then it goes under. This is completely the most cruel thing to do during times like this. "

Refund issue

"Event was cancelled due to COVID 19 months ago. Company took months to respond to refund request. Two months after the cancelation of Spring Training in AZ. I get this freaking email for store credit??

"Yeah, the title and other posters today, say it all. Ain't gonna buy **** from these tools, ever again! Store credit? And an expiration date? I don't care if I get extra for store credit. Ridiculous! "

Awful! They won’t refund me my money for a cancelled event!

"I’ve been waiting for 2 months ! They stated they’d refund in 4 weeks. I’m extremely frustrated and their phone support is just a loop. I just filed a claim with my bank. Hopefully I can get my $250 back. NEVER buy from these guys and always check reviews before buying! Lesson learned.

UPDATE!!!!
Wanted to share how I managed to finally get a refund. I wrote a formal complaint to the better business Bureu . They contacted the company and gave them 30 days to respond. The company refunded me within 5 days. They have the ability to give you your money back! Please follow through with your refunds and fight for them! I hope this was helpful.

Fraudulent Company

"I’ll try and be brief. January, 2020 purchased 3 spring training tickets from these folks ($223.00) for a March, 2020 game. They took the money instantly, of course. March rolls around, game was cancelled due to Covid19. Via email they promised “a full refund“ to my bank debit account ... in about 4-6 weeks”. 6 weeks later no refund and when I inquired they said it “was taking a bit longer due to the pandemic but the refund was coming”.
Another month later and only after I inquire again I get yet another email now apologizing and saying they are offering a “credit” instead of a refund due to the virus of course and (this is the best part) telling me there is a deadline (date not disclosed) which I have to use this credit by or lose it altogether. Talk about audacity! Remember, they were paid in January and this last email was on May, 20!
RUN from these people! There is no excuse for fraud and/or misrepresentation. There are other companies to use. Period.
I will now file a claim against them with my bank and suggest anyone reading this who has suffered a similar indignity do the same.

No REFUND after it was promised!!!!!

"I bought tickets to an event which was cancelled. They emailed I would receive a refund. Now, 2 months later, they won't refund but will only give a credit with them. WHAT!!! On top of it, you cannot reach a human through their #800, and their "chat" text function is automated and manned by AI bots.

They should be put out of business. To deny refunds during this economic crisis is unconscionable.

Don't ever use them.

The worst

"We bought Thomas Rhett tickets at Christmas time (2019) for June 2020. The show was rescheduled in September, and then again for 2021 now, and I want my money back. They refuse unless the show is cancelled altogether. Complete crap, no one knew Covid19 was going to take the whole country down, and now that it has, don't they have some kind of obligation to refund the money? Super frustrated, will never use again."

NO Refund but offering credit? GTFOH

"Back in February I purchased tickets to a March 11th Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Concert event. The concert was cancelled, the very DAY of the concert. Ten days later I email Ticketcenter.com about my refund. I had bought 2 tickets, a parking pass and the ticket insurance. Like everyone else, I got the email stating I would get a refund in 2 to 4 weeks. I emailed them on the first of every month since the concert was cancelled asking about my refund. The emails have been going on since March. I finally told Ticket Center that I would be disputing the charges on my credit card. As soon as I told them that, I get an email telling me:
We are writing to you to update our earlier email communication regarding the cancellation of your event. We are very sorry, but we need to adjust our event cancellation compensation policy due to events associated with the global pandemic. The coronavirus (COVID-19) has resulted in the cancellation of thousands of live events. Government shutdown orders, which are beyond our control, have made it impossible for events to occur as scheduled. Due to this completely unforeseen and unprecedented epidemic, we are no longer able to offer refunds for events that have been cancelled.

Our new policy is in line with that followed by many in the live events world that have been profoundly impacted by mass cancellations. Our new policy is as follows: You have received store credit for REDACTED of the full value of your order total, inclusive of base price, fees, delivery charges, less any sums already refunded. This credit is ready to be used right now on our marketplace towards the purchase of any ticket. To provide additional value, following your use of the REDACTED store credit on our site to purchase tickets, we will issue a promotional code to you for 25% off of a subsequent order.

We understand that this cancellation may be disappointing news. We value our customers and this change in policy enables us to provide value while dealing with the unprecedented hardship caused by COVID-19 event cancellations. Thank you for your continued business.

Refund 2-4 weeks, Tickets-Center.com is a Total SCAM!!

"I purchased (5) tickets to a Spring Game in February that was later cancelled in March due to Covid-19. After receiving an "Event Canceled" Email from Tickets-Center.com a few days after the game was suppose to be played it noted a REFUND would be issued in 2-4 weeks back onto my account. Tickets-Center.com policy states that all sales are final and no refund can be given OTHER THAN THE CANCELLATION OF AN EVENT or due to UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. Any reputable company would abide by their own written policies, we unfortunately choice a SCAM of a company to do business with.
