"Order was easy online, soon after the order it was noted that one of the parts has not ETA, someone reached out via email to advise of the issue and asked if I wanted to proceed with the order. I appreciate someone reached out to confirm if I wanted to proceed with the order. In my case I did not and I was given confirmation of the refund via email. I would order again if I needed OEM parts. "

A couple of days later I received an email from TPd informing that this part was not compatible with my vehicle. What the heck, Get your act and website together Toyota Parts Direct and stop wasting everyone's time. "
"I placed an order for two Toyota parts. After the order was placed they said one of the items was on back order with no ETA and if the order was not canceled there would be no refund. I don’t mind waiting but at some point if the part is not available any longer they should still offer a refund after a reasonable amount of time. I mean if the part is not available will they just keep your money for the next 5 years?"

"Ordered online, days later get an email saying it’s on back order(not sure why it would be listed as available in the first place) and that it’s probably better if I order it somewhere else. Shipping rates aren’t accurate and local pickup isn’t possible… total waste of time… give you’re business to someone else for better customer service and for a product that’s actually in stock with an actual delivery date. I called the dealer, got the same part for cheaper with local pickup and a delivery date… "

"I ordered a piece of weather stripping for my car on 2024/08/06. On the 13th, I received an e-mail looking for feedback about how toyotapartsdirect.ca did. They hadn't even processed my order. On the 16th, I received an e-mail indicating the order had been received. On the 19th, I received another e-mail indicating my order had been shipped; two weeks after ordering, they finally got around to shipping? My shipping address is a business with regular hours & full-time staff; they never received anything. Owing to travel, I returned to my office in late September, checked the tracking number, only to discover a delivery was attempted to my billing address, where no-one could receive it, and it had been returned. On contacting customer service, I was told by their AI bot that orders left this long are not refunded. On phoning customer service, I was told that I should contact their bot, which in turn just kept apologizing, and insisted my comments would go to the right place: nowhere, obviously. With customer service like this, I'll just buy from the dealership. The amount of time I have wasted trying to figure out where this item ended up is just not worth the money I saved; oh, sorry, the money I threw away for nothing. If you're considering buying from toyotapartsdirect.ca, save your money; shop somewhere else."
