"i appreciate the opportunity to buy discount dealer parts. I find the ordering process is awkward. It should be possible to input model and/serial number and be confident of a match but it doesn't seem to be. I've ordered a few times and wind up interacting with humans, which is fine, but the email response time seems long and I wonder if my emails are being lost. the chat bot seems useless at resolving anything by itself. Although this last time I submitted requests by email and chat bot to increase my chances of response; I'm not sure which one did the trick. "

"Email was send to my for part on back order, I replay asking if they could push it needed those part in the next 2 week. They wrote back telling me they could not do it and Cancelled withoud my permission. I transferred my business else were. No answer my question on why they did that.. There was nothing wrong calling the supplier to have more detail if they could push it or not. "

"Within a very short time of placing my order, Toyota Parts Direct notified me that the part was listed on back order with no ETA and gave me the choice to be placed on a back order list or cancel the order. Since the part was back ordered and/or out of production every else I looked for my 33 year old car, I cancelled the order.
While not being able to fill my order was not the ideal outcome (and not their fault obviously), I appreciated the honest and timely feedback and option to cancel instead of automatically putting it on back order with no ETA. The person who helped me also took the time to confirm the correct Toyota part number so I could search for the part elsewhere.
My past orders at TPD have always resulted in the correct part being delivered. Great customer service. "

News flash most people work during the day. They should use a professional courier for delivery. "
