"Purse was the right purse but not the color I ordered or was pictured on the site. "
"SELLERS NIGHTMARE.
No matter how hard a seller lists, describes, makes sure items are in the condition described, packed properly and shipped promptly, there is NO seller appreciation. Tradsey takes the credit.
Tradsey gets paid immediately upon a sale and gives buyers 4 days to return or keep. SELLERS wait 30 DAYS TO GET PAID. The only reason it should take that long for Tradsey to hold a sellers funds is that they are using the funds to fund their business and collect the interest on sellers funds.
Tradsey takes 20% off the top of a sellers item and then charges them a penalty of 3% to withdraw their funds then hold the funds another 7 business days. This is ridiculous.
Someone should look into this business and examine the practices of this company. DISGRACEFULL
"
"What I love about Tradesy is the wide choices available. Other resellers that have as much choice either have lower customer service (ex: prices vary more, picture quality vary more, not possible to return items, etc.) or less quality merchandise (ex: decent basics, but statement pieces are more rare).
So Tradesy is the place I go to find my next absolute favorite pieces, my treats!"
"I've been able to sell some higher end pieces quicker here than on ebay but the length of time it takes Tradesy to settle payments and then to charge a 2.9% "safe transfer fee" on top of the high commission they already take out is unreal. What the hell is a safe transfer fee?!?!!? Without charging us a fee, they wouldn't be able to transfer our money safely to paypal or our bank account? Get a grip. I'm annoyed, hence I won't sell too much on here. I don't understand the follower concept because you get no notifications when the people you are following lower their prices, etc (like how Poshmark is setup). I'm still going to stick with Poshmark. You get your money quicker. "
"They hold your funds for 21 days AFTER you have entered tracking information. They then say they take another 7 days to send funds to your checking account. I can respectfully vouch it’s been beyond 7 days and I haven’t received funds for the item I sold back on April 13th; 30 days next week. Stay away!!"
"House of Cb is the worse they do not reply to messages. Has a no return policy but yet you can’t see the item u r interesting of buying. No one buys puss in a bag"
"This is a great high end consignment site. I may need an intervention! "
"So great to have a site that allows people to afford authentic designer brands! Blessed beyond belief!"
"Love my boots ! Amazing deal"
"That belt is very nice, and was shipped fast! Highly recommend
Strawberry fields for great products!"
"I bought a designer item and then right afterwards saw it selling at Neiman Marcus for substantially less. I emailed immediately to the seller to meet that price or cancel my order. No communication. Next day package is being shipped.
I emailed the tradesy team regarding the same problem. Again NO COMMUNICATION!
My advice is to shop elsewhere!"
"They hold your money for 3 weeks and then it takes another week or longer to get it into your account. So the buyer gets their purchase, Tradesy gets their money and yours and you get nothing for a month. And the people only have 4 days to return so this is highly corrupt. They keep everyone's money for weeks and they just make interest on it and you get NOTHING. Customer service couldn't care less about you. They were nice when the started and now they are greedy and you are screwed. I will NEVER sell anything here or buy again. They are making money hand over fist off of our stuff and won't even pay us in a timely fashion. They are hardly the only place to go so run, don't walk, away from this business. "
"I sold a LV Pochette on 3/30/18. It was delivered to buyer on 4/4/18. It has taken weeks to get my money, why??? I was finally able to transfer to my bank account today (4/30) and was charged another 2.9% in additional fees and it will take another 7 days to actually be in my checking account. I have deleted my other listings and will not be selling anything else through Tradesy. I'm sticking with Poshmark. They take the same cut and don't charge you to get your own money. Plus you get paid as soon as the buyer accepts your item or 3 days from delivery whichever comes first. Don't waste your time selling here "
“Hi there,
I am reaching out because I read your feedback, and want you to know your concerns have been heard. To better safeguard your funds and ensure that there are no transaction issues, earnings for all sellers are held for up to 21 days after an item is delivered to the buyer. During this review period, we’ll ensure the security and authenticity of every transaction, protecting both you and your buyers.
As per transfers - transfers take 7 or more business days to process after withdrawing from your Manage Payouts page. Depending on your bank, there may be an additional short delay before funds appear in your PayPal, debit card, or checking account (ACH).
Please know, the security of your earnings is our top priority. Due to recent data breaches across the Internet, we use this time to conduct increased safety checks — but rest assured, we’re working hard to ensure you get paid as quickly and safely as possible.
While I realize this does not change the experience you had, I am hopeful that you see that we at Tradesy understand your frustration and would love to have you remain a customer of ours. I can assure you that we are working hard on implementing a faster payout timeframe for all of our seller. I appreciate your patience during this time and I hope you have a great rest of the day. ”
"Transaction date 3/22/18. SOLD my CHANEL earrings on Tradesy $2100. Buyer decides to return the item. I received the earrings back on 4/11/18. I have no problem when buyers return items, but when I get it back damaged, that’s not acceptable. Tradesy received it from the buyer and returned it back to me. I received my $2100 CHANEL earrings broken. Metal piece that holds the charm is missing. In this case Tradesy is responsible for my earning and need to pay for it. Instead, Tradesy is giving me two options. 1) $150 Tradesy site credit 2) $100 Paypal payment. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I don’t care how much Tradesy’s return team think how much my item is worth, but I sold it for $2100 and still buyers out there wanting my earrings. Definitely not worth $100 to settle this issue with Tradesy. This issue has caused me severe stress and Tradesy is responsible for all the trouble that’s causing me. Today is 4/29/18 and this issue is not resolved how I expect to be. Tradesy has my item in hand at their so called “Headquarter”. This is very an unfair response from their team and Tradesy need to take a full responsibility and release my earning."
"Item was shipped quickly, packed beautifully, and was faithful to the description. And the purchasing process went smooth and quick."
A rep from Tradesy, Tradesy2, has responded:
“Hi there, thanks for sharing your feedback. I would be more than happy to explain our wait time with having your funds transferred. We use a payment processor to help with our transactions, as it adds an extra layer of security. This brings us the drawback of having a long wait period for the buyer, so I truly apologize for the delay. Unfortunately, we find using the payment processor necessary, as we are putting your financial security first. While I realize this does not change the experience you had, I am hopeful that you see that we at Tradesy understand your frustration and would love to have you remain a customer of ours. I can assure you that we are working hard on implementing a faster payout timeframe for all of our sellers. I appreciate your patience during this time and I hope you have a great rest of the day. -M
