"I attempted to purchase a dress. The sale was cancelled by the seller. The seller then relisted it. She stated that she was holding it for another seller, but that information was not in the listing anywhere. When I contacted Tradsey about it, they advised me to stop buying it because it was being held for another buyer. This is a ridiculous practice. Something listed should either be for sale or it should at least state in the listing that it is being held for someone. To purchase something that you have been looking for, and then have the seller and the company they work with both say "Too bad" is not only upsetting, it's unprofessional. I'm going to stick with Poshmark and eBay where things that are listed are actually for sale.
Since there is no way to reply to their response, this is an edit.
There was no indication in the listing that the item was being held or reserved for another buyer.
I did reach out to your company. The customer service rep told me to stop buying the dress because the seller was going to keep canceling the sale. That was the fantastic customer service response I got. I waited for your company to respond prior to posting a review. I feel you got the review you deserve based on the service and response I got. "I have attempted to purchase two items on Tradesy. Both times the items I ordered did not look the same in-person as picture on the site. I had an even worse experience with my second purchase. The colors of the jumper I ordered were completely off. I did not receive an apology for the merchant nor Tradesy. Futher, Tradesy required I return the item within 4 days... thanks for the flexibility. I would strongly advise shopping somewhere else.

"It took the seller 8 days to ship. In addition, the gucci bag was advertised as being brand new with tags, when in fact no tags came with the bag; only the controllato tag. Is it really new? Also, the seller packaged the bag in a small post office mailing box, which wrinkled the bag. Unbelievable! Overall it is a very nice bag. Just wished another seller had it when I ordered it. "
